  2. Today
  3. Oasisstar trotted over to her mate Snakefang happily and purred “I have some good news” Snakefang tilted his head, confused, he was never the smartest cat so he had no clue what was going on “What is it?” “We’re expecting kits!” she purred happily “Really? That’s great!” he purred back and nuzzled his mate
  4. As night fell upon the Moon Lake, Oasisrock awoke in the stars. Nine cats awaited to give her nine lives, all cats who had died in the drought that killed so many cats. The first cat to approach her was her mother, who touched her nose to Oasisrock’s forehead “With this life I give you motherly love. Use it well to care for Sunclan” The next cat to approach her was her father “With this life I give you courage. Use it well to protect your clan” Then her mentor “With this life I give you strength. Use it well to protect your clan” Next, her best friend “With this life I give you friendship. Use it well to keep your clan together” Then the previous medicine cat of Sunclan “With this life I give you wisdom. Use it well to make wise decisions” Next her brother “With this life I give you adventure. Use it well to find good things for Sunclan” Then her sister “With this life I give you justice. Use it well to do what’s best for Sunclan” Next the deputy “With this life I give you boldness. Use it well to be confident even when you make mistakes” And lastly, the previous leader of Sunclan, Sandstar, approached Oasisrock “I hail you by your new name, Oasisstar. Your old life is no more. You have now received the nine lives of a leader and Starclan grants you the guardianship of Sunclan. Defend it well; care for young and old; honour your ancestors and the Warrior Code; live each life with pride and dignity.” And with that, Oasisrock became Oasisstar, the new leader of Sunclan. Oasisstar wept, seeing all of her late clan mates was a very bittersweet experience and she couldn’t help but cry.
  5. wip waterfalls coming out your mouth cover!!
  6. A fluffy tortoiseshell she-cat walked into Sunclan’s camp. Oasisrock looked at her cautiously “Who are you?” she asked “Shrikewing” the she-cat replied “I received a message from Starclan that I should come here” “Starclan? Are you a medicine cat?” Oasisrock asked, surprised “Ya, I’m from a clan far away from here, I didn’t like it there anyway so I was alright to leave” Shrikewing said, her tail swishing behind her absently “Welcome to Sunclan then, we really need a medicine cat so I’m glad that you’re here” Oasisrock smiled “You’re the leader then?” Shrikewing asked “Hm, I guess so” Oasisrock sighed “I’m the only member of the original Sunclan left” “So you didn’t receive your nine lives?” Shrikewing asked “No” Oasisrock replied “Do that then, that’s what Starclan would want” Shrikewing commanded Oasisrock felt excitement bubble up inside of her “ok! I’ll go to the Moon Lake right away!” she could barely contain her excitement, she was going to become the leader of Sunclan! Oasisrock informed Snakefang about where she was going before she and Shrikewing set off to the Moon Lake. This journey would be difficult without travel herbs, but they would push through.
  7. Playing around with layer modes once again
  8. Oh and I added (pretty much) sentinels (Murder Drones). Since half the world is in darkness most the time and the Ancients (placeholder) were at war (kind of) they released sentinels into the wild to kill any living creature that wasn’t effected by ✨radiation✨ ‘Oh look another whole mass of lore to explain. Radiation is pretty much fear. The Ancients died out because of the Radiation. It was poisonous to them, and they accidentally enhanced it. Many animals started dying out from either the radiation, sentinels, or the infection (get to that later). The Ancients created the Mindpool to try and find a way to bend reality to make them extremely lucky and immortal, the luck making them unkillable. But they already died out before they could find a way to make it work for them. So there was only a few species left. Sheathkins, Crystalkins, Rosekins, some unnamed goo mitosis chicken, and the infected. Infection! The infection was an artificial thing implanted into Sheathkins (artificial creatures made to please the other Ancient kingdoms) and was made as a bioweapon to kill all the enemy, or so they thought. But that didn’t go well as the infection started to infect the Ancients and animals, too. So a few bombs and kill codes later, that apocalypse was avoided. The infection only really took over Sheathkins and primarily spread through them. In any other creature it kind of just killed them. Apart from Rosekins, those kind of took over them and there was a chance they’d infect others but not really. So after that was eradicated, there was nothing really left for the Sheathkins to eat, since they weren’t exactly sentient yet and they were losing whatever intelligence they had left, so they kind of just had to cannibalise each other. So that went on for ages. I’m too tired to explain anymore lore Goonight.
  9. Do you ever just like Plan a story and everything Completely create all the lore and stuff Design all the characters Then just go Mmm No. And then you remake everything? Like, I’m kind of making a story thing (I’ve probably talked about it a few times) It was originally just a random thing about different colour cats being mean to each other because of my English assessment But then I started adding to it and making lore Then I went Mmm no And then I changed it a bit to be really similar to Rainworld (and I fed Valk some really confusing lore) ‘Then I kept adding and adding In the Rainworld phase, there was a pool that ate souls and made certain souls immortal. There were gonna be mind guardians (the pool is called Mindpool and that’s what I’m calling the story for now) and it was gonna be a post-apocalyptic world like rainworld. Then I added foxes and wolves. The main war was between cats and the foxes, the wolves were kind of neutral. All of them had weird mutations and stuff. Then I went Mmm no. And changed it up again. So then it became more of a realistic thing. A war, poisoned prey, one main monarch of the foxes and the cats, all the cats were getting manipulated by the leader, Sheath, and built into an army Then guess what? I redesigned them all! The cats became weird little mutant cat things (Sheathkins, a placeholder name I dislike) and the foxes became Crystalkins (another placeholder name I dislike, named after the ‘Fox’ leader, Crystal). The wolves were just wolf-like Crystalkins. So that went on for ages. I kept changing the lore a little, Sheathkins are artificial, I made up the stuff about the moons and the artificial light then was like Hang on, There’s no light. How do they get warmth? How do mammals survive? Back to the drawing board. I redesigned the Crystalkins ENTIRELY into furry bug things. And the wolf things are a completely different species now (they’re half artificial and I’ll call them Rosekins for now) And I also redesigned the entire map of the world. Just why do I torture myself like this.
  10. random confession: i don't really consider Andromeda one of my sonas anymore She's still a very important character to me as she was one of my first real OCs with a developed backstory and universe (i drew her for the first time when i was 7 or 8), but now she's more of a mascot My actual fursona is Equinox, the goddess of balance in Animalia/Humalia lore :>.
  11. Birb of the day is back! This time I won't make up for missed days, it's been a few months. 19th April- Philippine dwarf kingfisher! Wins the title for looking fantastic and also silly Fun fact: there are multiple subspecies of this bird. While the southern subspecies has a more intense purple, the northern subspecies have blue spotting on their wings. (this makes me want to modify the design of my birb fursona, Lo-Fi, with inspiration from these guys (paticularly the second picture)
  12. Snakefang certainly seems like a name not suitable for a cat as cute and fluffy as him, but his fighting skills make up for it. Snakefang was raised by rogues who were banished from clans and worshiped the Dark Forest. Snakefang knew how to fight from a very young age just to keep himself alive. The drought hit his group hard and they all left him behind to find greener pastures (literally), seeing him as more of a burden than anything. Snakefang didn’t let this dissumade him, however, it just made him want to change his ways and become a cat better than his parents.
  13. Oasispaw and Snakefang spent a few moons together in their empty clan, growing closer to each other each day. They fell in love and became mates quickly, possibly too quickly, but they couldn’t help how they felt about each other. Only time will tell what will happen with their romance. After this happened Oasispaw decided that it was time she had a warrior name. Snakefang had been very supportive and encouraged her to make herself a full warrior because she deserved it. Oasispaw became Oasisrock, named after her colour and her willpower.
