	God, it's been so long since I've been into games. There is a widespread surge of pirated games in my country (I doubt that I translated the name correctly) but I don't regret paying for this game at all. I played for 10 hours in the first 2 days and I'm not going to stop.

	Hi everyone, thank you again for this amazing game.

<p>
	I just wanted to talk about something that I can't stop thinking about with the street lanterns.
</p>

<p>
	Would it be possible to have an option to light them? With a smal flame like the one above the decontaminator building? Maybe using biogaz to works and bring some more decoration levels when working?
</p>

<p>
	I don't know, but I think it would look beautiful at night from Onbu pov.

	Made it to 100 days and I was trying for both the no berries and Onbu Monument in the same run.  I never let Onbu get more than 50% hungry.  I'm not sure about poison but definitely less than 50% and I never let him get hurt.  I tanked my productivity by destroying all my houses so I was less than 100%.  His tail has been wagging plenty and I never pulled out a spike.  No damaging buildings were constructed (or even researched).  The only thing that occurs to me is that I never pet him, so I'm not sure if there's a requirement for how many times you need to pet him.
</p>

<p>
	I've also made sure that his hunger/poison/sleep was less then 20% right before hitting the dead Onbu.

	Hi everyone!
</p>

<p style="background-color:#f6f3f3;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	Thank you very much for testing The Wandering Village with us<span> </span><span><span class="ipsEmoji">❤️</span></span> A big part of the game is farming, and we want to get it right. But as often is the case, the first iteration of a thing is not perfect, so your feedback is of utmost importance to us<span> </span><span><img alt=":)" data-emoticon="" height="20" src="https://strayfawnstudio.com/community/uploads/emoticons/smile.png" srcset="https://strayfawnstudio.com/community/uploads/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" style="border-style:none;vertical-align:middle;" title=":)" width="20" /> </span>
</p>

<p style="background-color:#f6f3f3;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	<span>Please let us know your thoughts about how you experienced food production. Was it clear to understand? Was is easy / hard to feed your people? Was it too simple or too complex? Did you harvest berries or did you use a farm? Was the behavior if the farm understandable with the plots-system?</span>
</p>

<p style="background-color:#f6f3f3;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	You already posted good feedback in the beta survey about the food, so I think it might be good to open a topic to discuss it in more detail.<span><span class="ipsEmoji">🔍</span></span>
</p>

<p style="background-color:#f6f3f3;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	One thing I'm curious about is: <strong>when using a farm - how many plots did you add? How many farmers did you employ in a farm?</strong>
</p>

<p style="background-color:#f6f3f3;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">

</p>

<p style="background-color:#f6f3f3;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	As always, thank you for your help and cheers,

	Just a random thought I had today while reflecting on the fact that the Wandering Village doesn't really have an ending. As others have pointed out, the statue you get to build is a neat idea, well-executed - but it either comes too early and doesn't feel like the end, or too late and you've already died. Tying it to the Day count, while unavoidable, is an artificial limitation that doesn't work, because most players end a city builder when <em>they </em>feel like they've had enough.
</p>

<p>
	But it is nice to have some sort of closure. So on to the idea:
</p>

<p>
	I propose a new biome. The Ocean (or Beach, or Beach of Bones). Don't laugh at my bad photoshop below. The idea is simple: this is the last biome you encounter, and the end of your journey. Oh, Onbu doesn't stop walking, that would be out of character for him (her? them?). But it's a temperate, scenic biome that allows the player to "wrap things up", so to speak. Finish that last farm, upgrade those last roads, take some final screenshots. Go out at your own speed, basically.
</p>

<p>
	How would this work?
</p>

<ul>
	<li>
		The player would <em>choose </em>to go there. After completing the statue (and maybe a certain population? Or enough tech researched?) Onbu starts to encounter mysterious bone piles after certain intersections, and only in one direction. Some kind of hint could go along with them ("Wherever this leads, this feels like the beginning of the end") and the player could choose to keep following them or not. If they want to keep exploring, jungles and shrines and so on, so be it. But if they follow the bones (4 or 5 times in a row, maybe), they encounter the Last Biome.
	</li>
	<li>
		No more crossroads. Straight forever. One last chance to turn away right before, when you first see it on the map. Can still go there later, just follow the bones again.
	</li>
	<li>
		Still get some events, since you're still walking next to other biomes. So an occasional cold snap when you walk past mountains, and so on. But nothing too severe, just enough to break up the monotony.
	</li>
	<li>
		Onbu will often just stop and sit, usually around sunset. Emphasizing that this is a final place, not a new adventure. He likes to walk, of course - but he's happy here. Maybe he can stare at the whales, or close his eyes and purr (he's a big cat, right?).
	</li>
	<li>
		This one you might not like, but bones of animals (and other Onbu?) could be scattered along the shore, as far as the eye can see. Evidence that other lifeforms found their way to this more peaceful place, and presumably died in their sleep. Clean, white bones, not scary green bones like the other dead Onbu. A final resting place, if you will.
	</li>
	<li>
		Of course, some kind of message from the Village Elder could indicate that this biome is perfect to flourish in. Reduced threats, good temperature for a wide range of crops. And Onbu seems to like it!
	</li>
</ul>

<p>
	Again, the point is, this is the end of the game. A lot of city builders don't have good endings (or any endings), which can suck when the narrative focus is strong (like Wandering Village). But having an ending forced on the player constrains their freedom, and removes the ability to just enjoy the village being a village. If the player chooses when to go to "The Ending Place", <em>and can keep playing there </em>at a leisurely pace, then that gives them some closure, and adds some finality to the story. Would also be a great transition to the credits, wink wink, nudge nudge.
</p>

<p>
	My two cents on this Wednesday afternoon. Alright, back to work.
</p>

	I really think it’d be an awesome idea to find a way to expand the space on your onbu. Possibly being able to expand on your onbu by building platforms or possibly make a convoy of multiple onbus and link them using hot air balloons or something similar would be awesome

	I forget the actual name of the building you can employ people for general, carrier, harvester, and builder workers, but I'm curious about the mechanics.
</p>

<p>
	I'm still fresh, only just finished tutorial and haven't unlocked everything. I have made a couple observations I wanted to ask about.
</p>

<p>
	Builders are easy to understand, they build the buildings. Do they also carry the materials to the job site, or do the carriers?
</p>

<p>
	Carriers is simple enough, but I thought they would carry produced material to designated storages. Wood/stone to warehouse and food to grainery, but it doesn't get moved until producing building inventory is full or is needed to make something else.
</p>

<p>
	General I'm confused about. Do they do everything and is it auto or when there is a task to be done and not enough designated workers?
</p>

<p>
	Harvesters are where I'm especially confused. I thought they would be the harvesters when you have farmers only planting. They'll harvest, but you have to manually give them the task like with stone and wood across Onbu's back.
</p>

	Well just sharing my experience lol.
</p>

<p>
	My english is not perfect so keep it in mind <span class="ipsEmoji">😅</span>
</p>

<p>
	I started a new game after knowing how the game works. Trying to survive no berry gathering 100 days. I ended up in the desert with no water. Did not research the cactus yet so i got stuck to plant food and lost 40 people in the desert.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I started over again trying to avoid these mistake. I did better job and survive the desert. We walk trough a toxic forest wich made toxicity all around my city so i cut them all out to make everything safe.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Now i finally reach 100 days without gathering any berry's and the achievement did not unlock. So i wonder if i did cut one berry while cutting the toxic plants. Because i never did gather any berry's and always cut wood or stone by choosing the option to only cut wood or stone (i dont know if you see what option i mean lol)
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	So now i have to try it again but maybe my story can help people prepare themself you always need food and water (water is need to plant food as you can't get any berry's ) and make sure you never cut any of them even if toxic is around. I suppose if any berry get toxic we may not cut it but i am not 100% sure.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	The game is really cool and chill i love games like this and i hope for more contents and updates !

	Got this a few weeks ago and obsessed over it for 5 days.  I love the novel concept for a city-builder.  I didn't try to master the perfect min-maxed strategy or spend any time reading guides, I just explored the game and what I encountered, again and again was:  'Wait, What?  When did everyone die?'
</p>

<p>
	The actual cause of the event was variable, but effectively you get to a point when your whole population is specialized and thriving, and suddenly it turns out that Farmer Leigh was the person that effectively supplied bread to the whole village, and the moment he's gone, everyone else is too.  Sometimes it was poison plants getting way out of hand way too soon to understand how to deal with them, but at least that was a visible problem that I could pause, adjust, and try to address.  Far more often my village went from fine to starved-to-death with almost no warning. By the time I notice that it's happening, there's nothing I can do.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I propose a simple fix.  There should be the possibility of a setting that allows you to auto-pause and assess whenever a villager dies.  I'd probably throw in a bunch of onbu-related stops as well.  And a general tutorial on how to address the crisis should be made available, even though a lot of people will probably click around it.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Let me know when the next major update hits.  I'd love to revisit the Onbu, but right now it seems like I'm likely to ruin my ability to enjoy this game if I continue to try it in its current state.
</p>

	I love this game so much!
</p>

<p>
	In what situation is it a good idea to harvest only or plant only? Perhaps the only reason to switch to harvest only mode is when you're in a temperature where there is crop decomposition?
</p>

<p>
	How do you get the farmers to fill up all of the allotted plots? They never seem to do so for me.
</p>

<p>
	Is there any downside to mixing the crops in a given farm? I see some people online talking about disabling farms when they cross between biomes. Is that a better approach than switching the crop when you cross between biomes?
</p>

<p>
	Thank you, wanderers.

	I've seen that worker belong to the building, they just stand there and do nothing.

	I have a village that doesn't have a bile extractor yet and harvesting poisonous plants had become to tedious that it's not fun to play anymore. Please add more automation. Picking each poisoned plant among the healthy ones are too much.

	Hello, I'm from Kazakhstan. I don't know English well, sorry. All text is google translator.
</p>

<p>
	Below are some ideas that came to mind during the game. Maybe some of this has already been suggested. But I didn't find it on the forum.
</p>

<p>
	 1) Berries/Farm and compost.
</p>

<p>
	     Berry picker is unbalanced.I don't know but I think that the berry bush in any biome produces the same amount of berries.I suggest adding an same feature like on a farm (compost and temperature).
</p>

<p>
	<a class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image ipsAttachLink_left" href="https://strayfawnstudio.com/community/uploads/monthly_2022_10/Farm.png.dd6bedc6c0a27a0d2f8c7fc07a7edf5e.png" style="float:left;" data-fileid="108842" data-fileext="png" rel=""><img class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" data-fileid="108842" data-ratio="166.67" style="width:150px;height:250px;" width="367" alt="Farm.thumb.png.58d69d303fde1330cdfedb5b658c3007.png" src="https://strayfawnstudio.com/community/uploads/monthly_2022_10/Farm.thumb.png.58d69d303fde1330cdfedb5b658c3007.png" /></a><span></span>Desert - Growth drops by 30% due to drought. In the berry picker, you can turn on the watering function for a 30% compensation.
</p>

<p>
	Winter - Growth drops by 30% because of the cold. Berry bushes can be insulated with sawdust, leaves. Sawdust is produced in a sawmill. Leaves are produced from cut down trees and berry bushes.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	To solve the problem of garbage in the form of excess resources. Add a new building. Slide. The slide is built in the same areas as the scouts. Available from the start of the game. Purpose - to throw out from ONKBU, ejection function from ONKBU. I mean drop down.
</p>

<p>
	Farm. All farms cannot produce fruits out of nowhere. We need seeds. Beet seeds are given from the start of the game. New seeds are found by scouts. New seeds are unknown and unavailable for any function other than warehousing. To study the seeds, you need to study the plants in the Technology Tree or is given as a gift from the settlements.All plants produce seeds in a ratio of 1/2(1 plant cell produces 1 to 2 seeds). All farms keep a reserve of all known seeds. The amount of reserve depends on the number of plant cells.
</p>

<p>
	For example. There are 10 plant slots on the farm. The farm keeps 10 seeds in reserve. All other seeds go to stock in the warehouse. In the warehouse, when the collection of leaves / sawdust / seeds is turned off(or excess), they are transferred to compost.In compost, seeds/leaves/sawdust are converted to humus in a ratio of 5/1.
</p>

<p>
	 Compost
</p>

<p>
	Add a new development branch Compost - humus. Compost Add the function of adding leaves and seeds to the compost. 2 poop - 2 compost /1 poop + 2 humus - 3 compost.
</p>

<p>
	2)Scouts.
</p>

<p>
	Add a visual icon to the map for scouts like in Frostpunk. Add a function to death scouts if they are too far from ONKBU. I mean, the scouts got lost (if they are too far from ONKBU).Add reconnaissance cancel/return function.
</p>

<p>
	Add a new building paddock for horses (or anyone else). Purpose - maintenance / training of animals. It is studied in the Tech tree. Add the function of sending along with scouts, animal trainer. He slows them down. But when exploring, there is a chance of an additional small event (try to tame).If the taming is successful, the scouts can ride the tamed animal. Tamed animal speeds up movement and exploration speed by 50%
</p>

<p>
	3) ONKBU
</p>

<p>
	Add feature, annoyance for ONKBU. All industrial buildings produce annoyance for ONKBU. When the irritation threshold is exceeded, ONKBU becomes enraged and uncontrollable. Shaking/running/shouting. For sedation, a tranquilizer is administered. He is also calmed by stroking from the doctor, games. Add function to play with ONKBU. He plays with the doctor / pets. When playing with a doctor or animals, there is a small chance of overplaying. Overplay = annoyance level 0% + sedated status (will not take annoyance for a while). During the overplay, breaks buildings into villages (due to shaking).
</p>

	I'm at a very late stage of the game, almost unlock all buildings. The problem is that there is no other buildings consuming woods. I have full storage of woods now. They are useless.
