  1. Been trying to find the perfect Eve- And now she got a wing. She is now going to have many winged babies. I'm curious, anyone got like a statistical thing of how much of a chance this was?

  4. It always looks so strange when the babies come out with the horns, so I thought it would be idea if the horns would grow as they age. Newborns would have no horns, babies with 1 gem would have little stubs. Ones with 2 gems would just have a smaller version of the horns than the adults? Once they become adults their horns would be fully grown.

  5. My sister was playing on a save file and travelled to a new island (Tiny Green). The right ports were directly connected to the ones her creatures were on. Being a bit of a newbie, she got confused, thinking it was all on giant port. She moved one creature over, and made it travel, thinking all the nichelings were coming with her. She was shocked to discover that only the one creature had travelled. Luckily I had made a backup save, and she did not lose much progress at all. But I'm just wondering...can ports be that close together?? Unfortunately I don't have a screenshot, but it looked like her nichelings landed on a giant 24-25 tile port with a stone near the end.

  6. When you look at a human couple and subconsciously wonder if their immunity genes match up ok your turn!!

  7. Armor body and wings and poison and saber fangs and peackock tail. Armor body lets youn "tame" animals. It would be really cool if one of your armor body nichelings tamed a pack of ramfoxes and used them to hunt rabbils

  8. Thanks for reporting! We'll look into it.

  9. I have started using the Blue, partly because it is my favorite color, and partly because I have a lot of hammerheads to kill. Maybe you could add some passive effects to the colors, like blue cools the ship when it shoots, red uses less energy, green gives fuel refill, or other related effects.

  12. I have looked at my cats and wondered if those are big ears or not. Because pure dichotomies exist on the matter. Totally. What should you put in your mutation slots? I can't unsee the cracker jaw on a certain person I know. You hate this even more than you might have used to. Lies. All lies!

  15. True Beginnings Mode: A mode that makes it a 'you're-the-only-creatures-in-the-world' challenge. No Wanderers or Rogue Males New Immunity genes (ones that the breeding pair doesn't have) have a chance to be randomly mutated (but not in the mutation menu) Genes that need to be bred in from wanderers (i.e. antenna) would either need a way to be unlocked or be randomly mutated like the immunity genes Bad genes (blind eyes, shortsighted eyes, deformed paw, etc) have a chance of being randomly mutated in like Immunity genes Released males have a small chance of becoming rogues Every time a day passes, a new plant has a chance to spawn (ex. You are on a Tiny Green. Tiny Green could have, say, a max of 5 bushes spawned in when your creatures enter the island, and a max of 5 bushes that can be spawned in. Every day has a 10% chance of a new berry bush spawning in, and once one does spawn, the chance of a new one appearing after that goes down to 9%, and so on.) This could happen with berry bushes, poison berry bushes, healing fruits, carnivorous plants, those plants that looks like cotton and give nesting material, kelp, water-breathing plants, and grass (explained further below). If a plant does have a chance to grow, it will spawn in as a seedling, eventually growing to maturity. The island you start on is called Eden. Only a few berry bushes are full gown, and the rest are still seedlings. All grass is already 'cleared out', and the re-growing grass is still regrowing. I'm too lazy to write anything else so the rest can be decided by devs/comments.

  16. I went to one of my savefiles today. I had used up everyone's turns last time I played, so I just set some mutations on the females that were about to give birth. I passed the day, and after I moved a couple of Nichelings, I noticed that the skeleton of one of my creatures can see stuff.Help! There's a ghost in my savefile! Slot1.nichesave

  17. I would make a mix between the jungle and the mountains, separated by a river and a small grassland island. There would maybe be a small island off to the side, requiring swimming to, that would be a 'whale island' biome (birch trees, stinky fruit, slightly higher chance of winged wanderers, etc.). That way, there would be two safe havens (although it still might snow on them). I personally think it might have potential for some interesting stories.

  19. I had that happen to me in older versions too. Always had a little rage fit because no mother would let her baby die. If the mother had died to, I'd get it but not with the mother basically unscathed (that's what happened in my game).

  20. The notification menu is nice, but could use some improvement in my opinion -tell the name of the nicheling that died -tell which gene you've unlocked -tell the name of which nicheling is sick -tell the name of which nicheling got infected (and by who) -tell the name of which nicheling got impregnated by a rogue male -tell the name of which nicheling got leeched -tell the name of which nicheling is bleeding I know that a lot of these you can just click "show" and go to the niche that is affected. But with the dead nicheling, it just shows a dead body and I have to figure out which one that is. Also, it's annoying when I click to see which nicheling is affected and it's just some omega that I don't care about anyway. Edit: Oh and please have a notification when my nicheling is getting eaten alive by a razorhana.

  21. A very nice suggestion! I'm sure a few other people have already suggested this, though. Just goes to show how popular the suggestion is!

  22. I would love to see water only ports that maybe just have a small beach to start on. I also love the idea of more fish/food/enemy types and underwater caves as 'nests'. I also love the idea of seaweed as underwater nesting material. I would LOVE to see the following, in addition to the suggestions above: a lionfish mutation (poisonous and cool looking!) a clownfish mutation that allows your nicheling to change genders (in the wild, clownfish meet so rarely, that when they do, the largest one turns into a female for mating purposes). Anglerfish mutation allowing you to attract small schools of fish nearby Octopus mutation that lets you change your appearance to match your surrounding environment Giant Manta rays/sharks/killer whales as big enemies akin to apes/balance bears Octopus' as enemies (they could act like moving jungle plants that ensnare your creature and you have to free them). Squids as enemies that shoot ink (and give you a movement debuf like OP suggested) Maybe underwater nichelings with enough 'swim' or 'underwater' points could lay eggs instead? It would add an interesting dynamic of whether or not you would choose to guard your egg or just leave it. The underwater nests could still be in the shallows or have a bubble source nearby so if a baby is born that lacks underwater features it won't die immediately. Also, Bioluminescence, in the water, on the nichelings, it would be cool!
