  2. I love bearyena ears as well, but I don't have one perfect creature. My tribe that went to the home island was 'perfect' for surviving especially in a swamp but they weren't my preferred looks (as I don't have one) I cannot have a preferred look because I love diversity in my tribes. It get's really boring really fast if everybody looks the same, so I just have favourite genes, but I don't want them on all of my Nichelings either ^^

  3. Black and white coloring, Beareyna ears and lean body are three of my favorites. She is my current fave, though she is an adult now. There is a good chance I will actually cry when she eventually dies.

  5. Agreeing with Jojo, here. I made a save where important creatures/lines are reincarnated and held eternally young. Pretty diverse, just no derp snouts, pure red or pink fur, or black/yellow fur (until I got one good sir that could actually rock the look...).

  7. How dare you say that big ears is the cutest gene?! BEARYENA EARS ARE THE CUTEST!!!

  8. I've liked lean body since 0.1.5.-ish(?) because a cute critter named Kuro that also had big ears waltzed in with lean body. I thought that big ears + lean body was such a cute combination, so I bred the heck out of that guy. Keep ripping in heaven Kuro You're an angel now

  9. To me, it didn't matter if a creature was the strongest or the fastest (Now I see why I'm so bad at Niche,) but the most important thing to me was whether or not a creature looked cute. Bam. Perfect creature. I even still remember my panda army from 0.1.5., because we all know panda pattern was the superior gene to every other gene. Actually, panda pattern was just a cosmetic gene, and I'm pretty sure it had no effect on a creature's survival... But ever since they removed exterminated all pandas from existence after 0.5.0., I started to look for "cute" genes again. Then, I discovered how adorable big ears were. So, big ears quickly became the new panda pattern for me. Bam. New perfect creature. Then I discovered how cute melanism was with black eyes. Combine this with big ears now. Bam. Newer perfect creature. That's my perfect creature right there. What do you guys consider to be perfect creatures?

  13. No, I mean logic parts don't count towards the total number of parts.. Logic parts are free. As for the punch thrusters... How about having weight classes by thrusters then? Must have less than 20 thrusters, 40 thrusters etc. Right now, there's no reason (that I can see) to have less than 100 parts. Once the logic is set (5 parts? 10 parts?) it's just adding more fuel tanks, thrusters and googly eyes. Sumo arena is weighted more towards strength than finesse. So having the best logic bot (which is a huge challenge) is not rewarded as much as just more thrusters. Which is easy. That's why I'd like logic parts to be free - so we can get some seriously smart robots, and lower weight classes so we can get thinky bots instead of strong bots. http://robotwars.wikia.com/wiki/Weight_Classes

  14. Wait, wouldn't the bearyena hybrids have 0 speed? If you have full bearyena genes, you only have 1 speed (assuming that you have the big body on them). Minus 1 for the whole set, and that would leave your nicheling immobile.

  15. Thanks! I am not sure about some of them, even more so of the sharpened versions. Maybe I should remove (2) entirely under Warrior Code. There still needs to be some improvement before it's worth suggesting.

  16. I wouldn't be fully opposed to a momentary invulnerability that also completely disabled you. Blindness is too much. Blackness on a screen is like silence on radio - you just can't have it. I also, though, think i would prefer specifically tailored shields to specific damage types; blast shields that nullify AOE is a good one. Collision shields that collide with terrain, objects, and enemies (as long as it doesn't transmit the full impact to the shield generator on your ship, ouch,) might be nice, too.

  19. I think I meant something different by one required use; I remember saying it, but not the exact context. I think it was about being useful only in very specific situations; What I was aiming for there was more about implementing an actual weaponry infrastructure beyond just running everything on energy. I actually don't think making a complex weapon infrastructure is necessary, but when it comes up, I always try to put a couple of cents in.

  20. I’ve now seen several posts requesting this and they Ll got a decent amount of upvotes, and personally also agree with this idea, and the devs will almost certainly add it.

  21. I always liked the idea of 'chassis' pieces that were large and awkward, and would, if connected, fuse together at the start of the mission for you to anchor things to, with a drawback that any damage dealt to them would propagate to parts near the damage site as well. (Effectively increasing the total damage received.) It introduces a way to create rigidity; but it also creates a build challenge, in that you have to build your ship around a part that is a bit awkward, and never compact, and if exposed to damage, can propagate damage to large swaths of your ship. God forbid you ever let it catch fire.

  22. I think he means being able to take a group of parts and instead of copy and pasting them, save them so that you can paste them later, possibly in another drone. So if you have a particular group of parts that you like using (like a factory block that produce a large missile), you don't have to make it from scratch every time you want to add it to a new drone. If that isn't what he means, then consider adding it anyway, because that will be very useful for those of us that like to reuse ideas/configurations from previous drones.

  23. It would be interesting to be able to set island features like what combination of biomes (Savannah / Swamp etc) and what food sources are available etc. but to have the island randomly generate for you. This would allow for a lot more interesting challenges and island combinations 😄

  24. Maybe batteries that recharge when hit with a particular elemental ammo? Give a reason to drop the shields and use damage reduction upgrades on a weapon. I rather like the idea of satellite-launching drones too and would love to see them encouraged, even if it's not for the same reasons they were used initially. One of the satellite builds that I'd like to try making once I have access to something that isn't the pre-alpha version is basically an attack satellite with long-range, cursor-aimed weapons and a small ship that is built with just thrusters, a shield, and the fuel tanks and batteries to operate both. Would just use the small, weaponless ship part of it to call in orbital strikes upon my enemies.😈

  25. Yep... I might have gone to far with the 'code in core'-idea, many people just dont know how to do so. But i really would like some sort of logic-block where the entire logic of the drone can be placed into. Some sort of logic-compression into one block. Maybe give the core some space for about ten gates, if more is needed there is a bigger placeholder (2x2 to 4x4?) to add (near infinite?) space for logic.

  26. Yes, your eyes didnt fool you, Jojo has a secret! After extensive research, from the fact that he prefers big body over lean body, to the fact that one of his nichelings was named thornstar( which sounds oddly familiar coughplatinumcough) I discovered that Jojo is not actually Jojo, as shown by the existence of thornstar( platinum)... He is Jotaro!!!!!!!!!

  27. According to my quick Google search research, I came to the conclusion that Jotaro is an anime character.
