So, one of my friends decided he was going to teach me to code and naturally, I decided I had to do something Niche related. I decided to write a code that basically does the work for you when playing the luck challenge. I believe the luck challenge was originally created by @MysticTopaz? It is incredibly bare bones right now, and not even remotely finished, but it works, so I thought I would share it. So far I only have two done, the Island Selector and the Mutation Menu Selector If you have any problems with it, please let me know, apparently learning how to fix things is also an important part of knowing how to code š4 points

So, we got a family tree and a day-counter, but we don't have a timeline?? Uh, why not? Programming, Goggles-kun... That'd be a ton of money, Goggles-kun... I'm thinking there'd be a button you can click to pull up a timeline of your tribe. If the timeline gets too long, there'd be a separate page for the continued part. Simple enough! "But wait; what exactly would go on the timeline, Goggles-kun?" Shut it Francis. Oh, wait. That's a wonderful idea. Here is a list of what would go on that timeline... The names of your first creatures (They go at the start of the timeline, along with...) The island you first started on When you migrate to a new island (Maybe not the name of the island? And it would say "You migrated to a new island on day [number]") Creatures you added to the line (Maybe there could be an option on the family tree where you can add a creature to a timeline, and it would appear as "[thiscreature] was born on day [number]"?) This is what I'm thinking it would look like: For the "Add to Timeline"... I'm thinking once you click the "Add to Timeline" button, it automatically turns to "Remove From Timeline"? Anyways, that's all, and stay tuned.3 points

That's a cool idea! Almost like a journal. Maybe we could add little notes when we add a Nicheling to the timeline?3 points

Behold, the almighty Adam's Legacy Tribe. Behold, the wonderful stories 'n' stuff from this almighty tribe. Behold- wait, I think that's enough beholds. Um, I guess I'll start. Frost A Beautiful grandchild of Adam is born. His children still live on today. Birdies Former-Wanderers Flamingo (Pink Nicheling) and Chickadee (Spiky Bodied Nicheling) with their daughter, Dove (Gray Nicheling). A while before this, a wanderer named Sparrow (picture below) was found, and, according to this creature and the other bird creatures found, there is an opposing tribe that often names their creatures after birds. Their genes vary, though most have a deformed paw or two. Other similarities between some of the creatures found are I Immunity, F Immunity, Stinky Tail, and Spiky Body. One of the other traditions of this tribe is that they don't give them bird names until the creature becomes an adult. This tribe seems to be like the Adam's Legacy tribe- a group will go to an island with a group of creatures, and the rest will stay behind and continue their lives. Sparrow, who fathered many children. The wanderer Platypus is discovered. (No, the pink blind creature is not purposely drowning- I was in the middle of moving her across when Platypus emerged from the sea.) Starling, the newest Adam's Legacy member who was previously part of the Bird Tribe. Betrayal A beautiful creature named Moonlight fell in love with a male named Mud. However, as soon as she met Chickadee, she fell in love with him too and they are to have a child soon. Unfortunately, Chickadee has passed away, but Mud was able to have a beautiful pair of identical twin boys with peacock tail with moonlight before he died. LOTS of Birdies (Above- The peacock-tailed Nicheling is also a Bird, but he was sickly and din't last long. His name was Peacock.) (also, isn't Eagle just the most adorable creature ever?!?!) Lots of Babies (Note- all photos in this post are not in order of when they were taken.)2 points

Nimbatus is a pretty complex game with a lot of features that need to be cataloged and understood. Games like this usually have a wiki page, but Nimbatus's sucks. I've already taken it upon my self to at lest get all of the basics down. I didn't know that reckages could give you resouces until 2 days ago, a wiki would have been helpful. All im saying is that we seriously could use a better wiki page.2 points

I wanted to just ask how you guys are doing. What's going on? Are you guys really really busy? Do you have big things coming up? Facing any serious challenges? Anybody getting married? Wanna talk about your pets?2 points

Features 1x1 size One input Sound selector (Alarm, Bell, Horn, Piano, Snare, Bass, Trumpet, whatever else) Frequency slider / musical note selector. Volume slider Function Plays the configured sound (probably not looping) when the input is active. Changes the color of the speaker icon to show it is active (much like the distance sensor turns green when it sees something) Plays sound originating from the block Uses you could make music, or have an audio cue when your auto turrets are engaging an enemy, or have a sound saying your factories are ready to print, etc etc..1 point

Any resource container won't work if it's been spawned by a Factory, unless a collector is spawned with the same factory. Non-spawned collectors won't hook into the newly spawned containers.1 point

Good day! I am very much unsure where to post such question, so hopefully I am not too far off here. Are you planning to release a version of Nimbatus that doesn't go through Steam? I am very much interested in it, but won't buy from this platform for a number of reasons unrelated to your studio, and Humble seems to sell the same Steam version anyway. Other platforms such as Origin are also a no-no for me. Thanks in advance, and may the Great Drone Overlord grant you assistance in your endeavours.1 point

Cool idea ;D I'm also loving your number choices lol But in all seriousness, this would be really cool to add! If a tribe is really old, it can sometimes get confusing on what islands you're looking for, and all the important Nichelings born.1 point

If you know me well, you know you shouldnāt leave things around for me to snatch. In fact, the other day, I almost made off with $150 and somebodyās iPhone... But, when I donāt want to steal things, I just mess around with it. So today, we went to a Boys & Girls Club... Wait, you havenāt heard of a Boys and Girls Club? HOW UNCULTURED ARE YOU?? Anyways, at the Boys and Girls Club in my town, thereās a room (a bunch of them, actually,) with bunch of televisions and XBOX controllers. Well, the room I was in had a Nintendo Switch in it. Since nobody was in the room, I went on it and changed all the users to say ātax fraudā with Yoshi profile pictures, deleted Fortnite off of it, and changed the theme. I bet Rusty will be mad at me... Or whoever Tyler and Paige were... Short things short: Donāt trust me when Iām alone in a room and thereās something I can mess around with. Next up: Iāll go rob the Stewert-Bella Art Museum! some guys did that a long time ago and robbed a $500 million art piece. Same museum, too. Cool.1 point

Tl;dr; Allow us to set flags to drones, so that drone selection for missions becomes easier. I would like to see a way to flag drones as "sumos" for example, so that when I start doing mission of type X, I can limit the number of drones which are shown to me to choose from. There are simply too many drones and they cannot currently be organized in any way (We have a long list containing all the drones we have created that appears to be organized with oldest at top, newest edited at bottom (I don't know how steam workshop drones work - I have none of those). If there was a flag system which would allow us to flag each drone with one (or even several), we could go through drone selection more easily. For me this has been a bad problem especially for Sumo fights; when choosing a drone for sumo fight, I see dozens of non-eligible drones with too many parts / too large in the list and my mouse wheel whines as I scroll down, scroll down, down and some more, finally realizing that I went past Unholy Trinity 2 (the drone I usually use for sumos) and I need to go back up.1 point

I think it'd be cool to have something like super smash bros where you try to knock each other off the edge. A somewhat long platform (that would shrink over time, like in sumo) with higher gravity than normal, and you each try to push each other off the edge. It'd be a totally different dynamic since you'd have to essentially jump out of the way of stuff, and there'd be more different ways to move. There'd probably have to be some kind of hostile ceiling so you can't just maximum thrust up and wait.1 point

@Philo can you tell us what this means? Will we write whole names for our nichelings to possibly get? Will we write our own syllables? (I would love that!) Or is this completely unrelated to nichelings? Does it have something to do with other wildlife?1 point
