So, we have seasons on snow mountains. Why shouldn't we have other islands with seasons? I present to you... The Seasons Island! Also, people who have had this idea before me, sorry for stealing it! I didn't find a topic about this. So this island has seasons that effect the ammount of food and the colour of grass, etc... Summer: Plants are green Grass regrows fast It's warm. Creatures get hot easily Rain is normal Prey is common Medium ammount of berries Nuts are raw so they're rare unless you have a creature in a tree Fall: Plants turn yellow, orange and red Grass regrows normal speed It's -1 cold Rains a lot Not as much prey A lot of berries A lot of nuts Winter: Plants lose their leaves and get snow on them Grass regrows really slow Weather is cold It snows every few days Prey is uncommon and rabbils are hard to spot Berries regrow slow Some nuts Spring: Plats are light green. Ground is covered with flowers Grass regrows fast Weather is a bit warm but creatures don't get hot easily Rain is normal Prey is very common and baby bearyenas are very common Some berries Almost no nuts2 points

I really understand your point and you are kind of right, but you would anyways need bearyena snout to call for them. And it's also rare to find the friendly bearyena anyways. But I also understand your opinion that it would be too easy.2 points

As I can't compete or post much for the next two weeks, have this trainwreck. Who is this, you may ask? X, first child of Adam. Is he qualified? Did he inherit good genes? Nope. You probably won't remember him in ten minutes. And only 3 days later, we have a match. Who is this? The first random wanderer. All after the first encounter are killed. By sudden and unforeseen aging, of course. Everything else wouldn't be undeniable cheating. Though I do feel bad for leaving her behind, all alone. Rarely got water breathing before the archipelago.2 points

here is one of the things i want to see the most, have the option to have all genes unlocked. here you go fixed it.1 point

Basically, you would be able to create a gene, customizing stats and choosing its appearance. The appearance would be chosen out of a list of genes already in the game (and some that aren't), although there could potentially be the option to model and upload your own appearance, for those who have that kind of skill. Perhaps, since there are stat-based achievements, genes with those stats would have to be under a certain threshold to allow any creature with that gene to earn the achievement (so someone couldn't, say, make a 12-strength gene and automatically get the 'Hybrid' achievement). This function would be for creative mode only, and the genes would be set in the settings menu (or another easily-accessed menu from an individual save file) and automatically appear on wanderers in the save you put them in. You can only delete genes if no creature on the save file has them.1 point

Outside of the competition and breaking every rule on the way to the deadly hills. Though I didn't use the console there, 100 food is a lot to start with. It wasn't the normal challenge either, but one with all genes unlocked and a random generator. Survival would have been impossible without the ancient horns and the scorpion tail during expansion. It's a small challenge depending on a lot of luck, but really fun.1 point

I'm reclaiming the nest. And some more. Allright, maybe fleeing works, too. That is, funnily enough, not my arch nemesis. He just spawned there. This is getting out of hand. I'll send the one clawed army for the smaller ones. Two down and -- Well, they all died after that. But so did the bearyenas and we got all the meat. That's a win, right? Now if someone only were to distract the nemesis...1 point

Noooo don't leave me, you angry porcupine! YES! The Polyjuice survived! Time for our tricky escape... Can't the guy see that everyone here is already pregnant? At least I have come to a point where rogues have awful genetics. I murdered our newest big, burly intruder for food. Found this guy. Since I officially have a paw, I am allowed to breed with him. Also found a digger. But I don't have a snout yet1 point

I love you you don’t give two hecks that all your creatures are crippled and have spit snout1 point

I kinda forgot to take screenshots (again) so here's some pictures of the tribe and the mini-island they have already moved on from. Fish-shaped mini-island! (It's getting a little fishy) The tribe is trying to move on to the next mini-island... ...though part of the tribe has already made it across. Oh, hi! My three sickly creatures. (Not including Takunu) The short-snout and the derp-snout are twins. When Owl and the derp-snout grow up, I'll have them have children, because they have different immunities. Also, I didn't notice until now that we were past day 100. LOL. I also decied to discontinue the Blind Scout thing. It's just becoming too much of a hassle. TO BE CONTINUED1 point

Yeah, I get confused between ports and plots. I never really paid attention to what they were called.1 point

I've wanted to see more hybrids in the game so maybe another one or two should be added. The Arctic Bears sound like a good place to start. Maybe a paw gene could be bear claw that gives three damage or a bear snout that adds one defence, one strength, and strong voice to scare away other bears.1 point

A new wanderer was found: Lemon! With Lemon and Fish, I'm starting a new line of creatures: Blind, big-nosed, spiky-bodied scouts. (When I can, I'll give them Big Ears, too) These creatures, when paired with a normal-sighted one, will be able to smell and hear food and predators! Welcome little Lara to the Scouting line! Woah, I didn't realize Bluebirds were that big in comparison to Nichelings until now... (also, I have no idea whose bones those are) TO BE CONTINUED after I eat lunch1 point

Nichelings with low scentless- a strong scent to be able to mark it properly- thanks 😆1 point

Woah woah woah, excuse me? Where did you come from?? Look! We unlocked Ram Horns and Claw while on the third island! Those totally aren't the bones of the murdered Rota on the flower port Goodbye, island! Goodbye, Reanais! Hello, new island! Woah there, calm down with those 'ana's! Cleopatra and her daughter Lali went across a river, killed a Bearyena, tamed it's cub, then went back across so Cleopatra could have her final child. As the baby was born the Friendly Bearyena crossed the river to visit little Duyusiimi. Sii my joke? 😛 Tribe so far! And we're just over 200 food! That meat by Cleopatra is totally not the Friendly Bearyena's and I totally didn't kill him because I want even more food1 point

Getting all of the nesting material is probably because I have only made like two nests, while all the other creatures used the permanent nests. They've also already cleared out most of the grass on the island. XD oopsie1 point

I like 2 and 3 while a new biome would be nice I think those two would be easier to implement. It might take the challenge of having blind Nichelings though but I totally agree with your point1 point

I don't think I'm liking this social hierarchy system here my friend!!! Your nichelings are big smelly meanies! In all seriousness tho, I'm surprised with how good you're doing, with the food and creature amount. And uhh... nesting material amount. Looks unusual tho. Keep up the good work man >:31 point

The tribe seems to like having power. A female with unsavory genes appeared, and the tribe took out their wrath on her (I made sure to only attack with Big-Bodied creatures so their defense would protect them from the Spiky Body). An Empress is born! Not in the eyes of the tribe, but in her name. Isi has fallen in love with the resident Friendly Bearyena... ...and had a child with him! Current tribe. TO BE CONTINUED1 point

@Dinocanid In Finland we atleast hope to not have rainy summers. They are getting more common because of the climate change. But usually summers here are sunny. In fall we have lots and lots and lots of rain. If I have to describe the Finnish autumn weather with one word, it would be rain. So it does depend a lot in the country1 point
