  3. I was trying to find the gene for the runner leg, so I tried putting in "fa" to see if legfast was it. But then, the console suggested something else! Setgene immunitygenefamily I think I may be the first to figure this out! Anyways, here you go people!

  6. The sixteenth rain comes, and the situation is the same. Thunderswoop demands answers from the Clan in Clouds, but Turtlesnow cannot explain the situation. To make matters worse, Beechstorm dies, and Thunderstorm is even more controlling. Along comes Applestem, a humble and cynical cat. He is kind and sees the clan is having a rough time, so he joins to help out. The seventeenth rain hits the clan. No longer patient with the Clan in Clouds, Thunderstorm demands that Turtlesnow get into an arranged matehood wtih him and raise a kit for the clan. Turtlesnow viciously declines, and Applestem backs her up. It isn't long before an apprentice-aged she-cat wanders into the clan. Her name is Dovewish. She is talented but rather inconsiderate. Soon after comes Longsky. She is silly, but her laziness can be quite annoying at times. The eighteenth rain strikes. Dovewish mates with Thunderstorm. Thunderstorm, close to death, names her the next clan leader out of favoritism. She has Spikefrost. Spikefrost is a great fighter and has leading capability, but also has commitment issues. Spikefrost is on patrol when he stumbles across Fleetpuddle, a rogue male who wishes to join the clan. He is a bold, family-oriented cat. The nineteenth rain hits the land, but nobody takes interest in each other. Soon, Cloverear, a rogue female, joins the clan. She is mature, aloof, and a bit vain. After that, an apprentice-aged cat wanders into the clan. He has great potential and wants kits, though he is a bit untrusting. His name is Fallenwhiskers. The twentieth and twenty-first rains come. Spikestorm is now leader, and Cloverear chooses him to be her mate. They have Goldenspring, an enthusiastic she-kit, and Snailrain, a carefree tom-kit. How will Spikestorm's rule go? To be continued...

  7. So, a while ago (like, months) I had a voting for whether Strong Bear or Stronger Bear. So, now I'm going to do another poll, this time for their descendants! (Bearyena Ears are still running in the family with only a little help from me ) I'm doing this a lot like the other poll! Luna Mother: Kaitlyn, granddaughter of my beloved Lisabet (Which i pronouce Lee-suh-bet, because I don't care what other people say), who was really strong. ) (shown in pic) Father: The only son of a webbed-hindlegged Rogue male and my sickly, cracker jaw, tailfin female. (shown in pic) Muations: Nimble Fingers and Peacock Tail. Sol Mother: Barre (pronounced 'bear'), the only daughter of Lenka, my previous leader, who had tailfin. Her father was a sickly creature named Alexan, who was quite strong, and had pretty red-pink stripes on his back. (shown in pic) Father: Blaze, a Purr-snouted (which hasn't showed up in a long time) male with antennae. His sister is mates with Barre's brother. (the poison-fanged guy in the background) (their first child is shown in the pic with the short snout, while their second was just born and is sickly (or, as I usually call it, has the sneezles. I know, it's weird, but that's what is say, okay?).) (shown in pic) Mutations: Purr snout and Peacock Tail (I reealllly want it back in the tribe). Now, go pick who should be the new leader of my tribe!

  8. I was here thinking, lots of the people like to create gods or wish to put a star on their fav. nicheling? well, i have lots of gods like the berry god all im triyng to say is, could we have an option that makes some nicheling gods (or put a star on them) so they could have a lil special event? By that i mean everytime a god is reborn we would win like 5+ food or 1+ speed or strength? And those things would actually be added on @Philo sugestion!!! Think about it

  9. I started playing your version of the challenge, and on the third day my creatures found a infertile baby girl, who was probably kicked out of her tribe--, er, Clan, because she can't breed. She sacrificed herself to a Bearyena while she was still recovering from two other Bearyena attacks, but her Spiky Body helped a lot and we were able to kill them all. Then my creature Softflight found a wanderer who has a wing. His name is SoftFLIGHT. Nice prediction there, generator. So now we have Wings on day 19...

  13. Sootstorm sets Minnowplum to lead, and his name is changed to Minnowstorm. Sootstorm dies and sends rain. Despite the new members, no one seems particularly interested in having kits besides Soilfur and Twigpad. They have Dandelionfawn, a kit with a slightly lighter pelt than Rollingstream. She is cynical, but would be a great warrior. Meanwhile, Clawleaf, an apprentice-aged she-cat, is found on clan borders, She is eccentric and patient. She is followed by Lionwillow. She is humble, a good fighter, and shows leading potential. Minnowstorm dies, and names Rollingstream- now Rollingstorm- as the next clan leader. It isn't long before Rollingstorm is approaced by Havenripple, a now seasoned medicine cat. Havenripple has seen things in the clouds, and states that the Clan in Clouds is urging them to move islands. Though reluctant to leave the land of her grandfather, she understands, and orders the clan to be ready for departure by the next rain. Like clockwork, the next rain comes, and the clan knows that it is their time to move. Led by Rollingstorm, they begin to trek to a new territory. Twigpad, close to death, orders that he will be staying in his homeland for his transition to the Clan in Clouds. Rollingstorm is brokenhearted at such a suggestion from her father, but obeys his final wishes. She takes one last look at the island before disappearing across the stones. An old Gorsespring dies along the way, but the rest of the clan makes it there in one piece. Havenripple dies after some time on the new island, and Rollingstorm, with a tinge of guilt, worries that Havenripple's message from Clan in Clouds may have been incorrect. Her fears are relieved, however, when shortly after her death, there is rain. Falconhorse takes Clawleaf as his mate, and thus comes forth the clan's first kit on the new island. They have Rustleberry, a quarrelsome and easily distracted she-cat. Rollingstorm dies and Dandelionfawn is made the next leader, now Dandelionstorm. The tenth and eleventh rains strike the clan. Clawleaf and Falconhorse have died, so no kits are born. Dandelionstorm, now old herself, instructs Rustleberry firmly on how to properly be leader. Rustleberry is by no means qualified, but Dandelionstorm takes what she can get and entrusts Rustleberry with the ownership of the title Rustlestorm. The rain continues until after Rollingstorm's death, like a prolonged gift from the Clan in Clouds- one of hope. Amidst the rain Rustlestorm comes across Crimsondusk, a hesitant and distractable warrior. After he comes Beechhaze, a sour-tempered tom with a soft spot for Rustlestorm. With him comes the thirteenth rain. Beechhaze is asked to be Rustlestorm's mate, and he agrees. They have Thunderswoop, an abrasive trickster. Rustlestorm chooses Beechhaze to be the next leader, to Thunderswoop's dismay. Rustlestorm dies. The next rain comes. No kits are born, but Crimsondusk sure finds one. In the rain on clan border, Crimsondusk comes across a terrified wet kit- nearly newborn. Never having had a kit himself, he takes her in as his own. He names her Turtlesnow. Turtlesnow has a natural affinity for medicine cat work. Now comes the fifteenth rain, but due to Turtlesnow's medicine cat-hood, she cannot mate. How will the clan expand? To be continued...

  20. I have to go on vacation until the day before Thanksgiving, so I'm gonna leave the poll open until then. (I can still access the forums through my tablet, but I can't play Niche ) Also, honestly, I want Luna to be leader, because 1- she's a female, so if I get a really low number she'll be able to have babies with released males 2- she's the granddaughter of a creature I really liked

  21. When I take screenshots, I do it to save my most beloved nichelings. Taking every screenshot invidually takes a lot of memory space. Taking group pictures makes me forget their names. In big tribes it gets hard to tell nichelings apart. Those issues could be fixed with this small feature. There should be a toggle to show nicheling names on top of their heads. This could be turned on and off at any time. Maybe in the settings, or there could be a button near the sense toggles. How did I remember almost everyone's names?! Only ones that I had to check from a familytree were Rowanberry and Kiratran!

  22. Uhm yes?! This is my biggest problem when I just want to remember every Nicheling and we don't have the for ever family tree yet

  24. imagine like a savanna with grasslands and an oasis of sorts in the centre so you need to unlock it to gain access to better food sources, or like an island where you need to breed the underwater genes to gain access to a plentiful water biome! so many different scenarios 🤩

  26. I haven't got into any serious injuries yet (*knock on wood*), probably because I'm not a risk-taker and I don't do tons of sports or stuff like that. You guys are all making me cringe and think of how lucky I am but at the same time I want a story like that to tell :,( I have, however, run full-speed into a screen door and grabbed a seemingly-prickle-less cactus with my bare hands before. Neither situation ended well.

  27. By the way, how are killer bearyenas born? are they a subpecies, or possibly a genetic mutation? Personally, I think it cant be a subspecies, because there are no babies, and they live alongside normal bearyenas. A genetic mutation may be the case, but then there could be killer bearyenas on other islands. I think its a behavioral pressure. As you can see, on other islands bearyenas are normally solitary, but here, there are tons of prey, so bearyenas are more common and they hunt in packs. Because of this, in order to control the pack, the strongest bearyena excretes hormones that cause its fur to darken, and it grows considerably in size and aggression. This helps it control the pack and keeps the ecosystem in balance.

  33. So, indiscriminate transmitter/receiver parts, each one set to whitelist or blacklist, with a list of signals? And based on that list, accepting only those signals, or all signals except those? And receivers, like a button, would split nothing, checking all transmitters for signals, filtered by their list, if they have one? That would provide directional signals, segregate the signals sent/received, and be simple and self-explanatory, in my opinion. It would solve just about any issue with wireless, and fulfill a number of feature requests, more or less.

  34. I don't know if I still have a picture of this place, and currently I am to tired to look for it but I found a grass mingle or adventure not sure, island which had the perfect diversion between savannah, grass and swamp to make a 4 clan warriors challenge

  35. I'm pretty sure people have known this for quite a while, as there was some testing. Supposedly, when you start on Crossing and give yourself homeisland immunity, you get the correct message of welcome home on Home Island, but no achievement. Luna Tenebris-Flos (February, Steam) cracked the full code, it seems, that might still get you the achievement, or at least should allow one to invite Adam's tribe even when starting there. https://steamcommunity.com/app/440650/discussions/1/3377008022030054687/?l=finnish

  37. BUNNY LOVE: By this i mean, and if we could have a species of bunny that our nichelings could breed with 'em? TRIBES: It would be so cool if we had another random tribe at the moment like your nicheling named ------ would explore and he/she finds another tribe? and the wonderers would be the banished creatures of that tribe so actually you could click on the wonderers and see something writen there : banished from the tribe (random name): potatosweet position: hunter(+ strength)(if other positions other bonus) status:looking for a mate Btw sorry for the mix up

  41. 1 - Finding Family The Dark is cold and kind of lonely. Here’s Adam, our lovely tiger kit. For some reason I think “kit” is the word for a baby Nicheling. Adam grows up on the island, searching for the mythical port stone. He’s never seen one, but he’s sure he’ll know what it looks like. Finally, on a dark and rainy day, he finds it. The earth rumbles, and a bridge of stepping stones leads the way across the sea. It leads to.... ...an island that is definitely not Home. Adam is still so lonely, though this island is much brighter and warmer than the Dark. Pretty much everything the Dark isn’t, to be honest. Where is Eve? Why isn’t she spawning? There she is. And none of the senses worked until I was right on top of her. Strange. Did she seriously just spawn? Anyway, back to the story. Adam and Eve fall in love and mate. Eve builds a nest, because for some strange reason there are no permanests on the Bright. Their first child is Issi. She’s a strangely pink child. Reminds me of a less wrinkly hairless sphinx. Are kits a little wrinkly at first, I wonder? Baby Issi is a bright-eyed little rabbil hunter, that’s for sure. ——— That’s all I got right now! I’m a little ahead of this, but I didn’t have time to sort through more screenshots before work. The end of this part marks the beginning of Adam’s era, though. TBC...

But our resources are too limited to focus on such a thing for the time being We're not yet sure which thing we're prototyping is the best at the moment - and we don't know which and in what configuration we will implement it. 46. I'm back! Whoo! I... welllll... forgot to take pictures. again. So, here's a picture of myt ribe after I got them to cross the Great Divide! We lost several creatures on the way (drowning, old age), so now I'm breeding a bunch to get more creatures ( I also only had 3 males, sooo). Though now almost everybody had Derp Snout. Though I will be able to have time to try breeding that out now that they've finished crossing over the mini-islands. You're very beautiful, Milady. (I like giving creatures joke names in this tribe...) Merlady is very beautiful, too. TO BE CONTINUED
