I'm of the opinion that they're photographs filtered to appear to be traditional media. Photoshop has some fairly capable filters in that vein. I also know of a photographer that takes photos of cats that appear to be doing ninja moves. I'll post some in off topic later.3 points

I think the scenery is the most awful part on some, though. In the above, it doesn't make any sense. Just a bunch of cats badly inserted into a background. it is nice on others. The faces... no artist here, but producing something that has two eyes, which look in the same direction, seems the bare minimum of effort. It doesn't help that there are variants out there without either issue. Not perfect, but better than edited cats to me. That's an awful one, for reference: These look really nice.3 points

Thanks to our youngins being slowpokes, everyone is old. Time for a baby boom! Strawberry, the pink nicheling and Leaf, the purr-snout plop on the nests first. Then Mousse, the stinky red one, Saara, the stinky red spotted one, and Lark, the brown spotted one, do the same. Hopefully their next generation shall move on to the next ports. We won't stay here for long. Lots of kiddos!! Yay! Wait. Magic, your child. Is that.... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA MY PRECIOUS ANGEL U SHALL BE THE QUEEN AND U HAVE AUTO-JOINED THE PANTHEON WITH PASTELLE AND FONDUE RIP fsdkbealgeiudehsivt AAAAAAAAAA I'm so sorry just look at her!!! Somewhere around here, we defeat a single bearyena (no one is hurt) and invite a random useless wanderer into the tribe (I end up drowning him). No pics, unfortunately... Okay. Here goes my little second gen...this time we didn't wait for no slowpokes! Sorry, baby Scorp. Tangerine stares longingly for her final goodbye. At least her daughter Rosebud and her mate Snow are staying with her. Ofc Spirit is up front. Pastelle II is the pink one, the great-granddaughter of the original Pastelle, who was my fave. The only purr-snouted child of the only purr-snout is also required to come. Her name's bloodred cause she looks like the devil. Magic is coming too, being young and pregnant. Some other nichlings tagging along are Windy, Isabella, Robin, Ruffien, and Bear. Spirit's pre-selected scorpion mate Spicey leads the way to this tribe's 4th island total. Ahhh, much better! TBC. I own an original cover of the first book that was printed when there were only four books in the entire series. I got it at a thrift book store (of course, I had already finished reading all the books ever written by that time)3 points

Depending on your computer, you might be able to take in game screenshots by pressing f12. It makes the quality more enjoyable to look back to! Love this btw, keep going! ❤️3 points

I finally got the game! And what a start! Tiny green sure has surprises for the dodo tribe. (sorry for the low quality pics) And I even started with purr snout! The cat with The White stripe is my starter female, and the adult taking with The rogue male is my other starter. They esthablished a nice base so far... INCEST! DAMN YOU MISCLICKS! Well, they may be Mother and son, but at least they gave me a cute tigress. A LOT of screaming and running from bearyenas followed, and the tribe was starting to starve. A brave should had to leave to gather coconuts But when all seemed lost, The tribe encountered an unlikely guide who would lead them to a safe haven. So gods do exist... He let us get food, and we finally got a pie e of paradise Thanks to his sharing... ALL HAIL LORD KEVIN!!! Soon, luck would follow, like this baby bear Atop his throne on the hill, Kevin and his Tigress assistant watched over the land... Yes, that is a name However, see The empty nest? Yes, a baby was there, a perfect baby, actually, but this Lady got too greedy and stole LORD KEVIN'S THRONE! So somehow he used godly powers to make a bird take it away. Also there was a bearyena battle After lord Kevin left his mortal vessel on the same day as tigress, The tribe started to live in peace with his children. TO BE CONTINUED!2 points

Hi there, I'm going to move some of the stuff from here: onto this lovely thread! This thread will be for my most successful tribe, the Farsea Feathers Tribe, only. (Bird/Wings Challenge) Below I will start with things already on the other thread and then just keep going from there! Enjoy2 points

https://www.warriorcats.com/books/ Read the books--including Super Editions-- in order of when they were published. It would also be good to not read the guides until you read the books published before them, because they may give spoilers. The short ones (they come in sets of three per book, but can be read individually as an ebook) don't contribute to the main storyline, but help fill in gaps (and WILL give spoilers), so make sure you read those in order too.2 points

How about the ability to change the duration of a specific Nicheling's lifespan? Like if you were doing a warrior cats play through, you could change a specific creatures' life span so they could live longer than the others because they're leader or somethin like that.2 points

Happy birthday everyone! God I love this team so much ❤️❤️ thank you for all you guys have done for the community ❤️2 points

Hm, very nice ideas. However, I have an expansion idea. Maybe instead of it just being Primrose being frozen, it's also some of her tribemates, except Primrose is the only one swept away and melted. The goal would be to get back to the cold islands, and break all your frozen tribemates from the ice blocks. And then you have to find your home tribe again2 points

I still think they look nice. The one thing I'd change though is remove the giant cat face at the top. It gets in the way of what could be beautiful scenery.2 points

You know what, I take it back. Found an equally awful German one and the second one above as a German cover, aswell. I'm curious if the books themselves at least improved, having stopping after the whole dovewing-ivypool dark forest issue. And some beavers. Why What the heck are they even doing? That grey cat, the expression, the black one batting literally at air...2 points
-
Oh God, the eyes. It's been some years since I last read the books, but I think the cats on the German cover at least made sense. And looked well-drawn... Why did they superimpose half-assed eyes on normal cats? Why change the cover at all? What's up with that scene on the second?2 points

Okay. Part 3. Settling down--yet again. Some children are being born. Aka, A LOT of children are being born. Even though there's no rush whatsoever this time. I told y'all, I'm a Bread-Happy person. This guy showed up. He has recessive poison fangs, which I can never find. Into the tribe you go, buddy! He takes Isabella, daughter of the beloved Mousse, as his bride. Your genes don't suck so you get double wings in the mutation menu! No cracker jaws joined us on our adventure to this new island. Good thing it's unlocked. Now we have an heiress to this lovely oak tree. Her name is Acorn. Do you see her? Oh look, who's that cute and spiky wanderer? She looks like she could be related to that other guy we found. Too bad her genes totally suck. See for yourself. Deal breaker. x_x Actually, I changed my mind. Being the kind and loving person that I am, I decided that Rako deserves a place in the tribe alongside her 'brother,' even if her genes are terrible. Here they are, having a spiky family reunion. Also, look at our smelling on the beak side vs the big nose side. Pathetic. What's this? Pastelle the Second has TWINS? YASSSS I shall name them...Rolfe and Vivien Also, we finally have our first Poison Fanged nicheling! WOOOO! Way to go, Mister wanderer! (Also, way to go, beaks! I love how recessive they are XD) (As I say this I realize how useless poison fangs are when combined with double wings) That's it for now. More updates will be coming soon!2 points

Now let's start and explore my VERY LARGE and INSANE ALL BIRB TRIBE It's also pretty successful with the most food. 700+ food! WOOOO (ikr not a ton still ;-; ) ok. I present to you.....THE FARSEA FEATHERS TRIBE! They started on whale island where wings were unlocked almost instantly. They have since traversed the archipelago. The tribe is almost ready to leave the archipelago. Just look at the creature count and you'll understand why. LOOK. Here's some dopplegangers Almost ready to ship off. We just need 2 more! They are still chirren and far away so a bit slow. COME ON YOU GUYSSSS! Meanwhile, Fishing Tail and some other helpful genes have been unlocked. OHMYGOSH this scorpion tailed child is COMING TOOOOO I shall name her Magic cause that's what she is to me!!! Reminds me of a past winged nicheling, who was a toxic yellow cracker jaw with gray spots, big ears and scorpion tail. Her name was Zest ;-; Someone's getting the boot off of the ports lol yup, poor Frost got the boot. Sorry, blue man. Everyone's pregnant and on the ports and we have a lot of food. We're ready to go now! On the ports are Strawberry, Mousse, Saara, Cocky, Tangerine, Snow, Leaf, Mars, and Magic. Saying our final goodbyes to Ocean and Electric's little fam... And these lonely guys and their wandering friend.... hhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..... QmQ ummmmm,,,, okay i guess... I guess that means IT'S BABY TIME!!!! TBC in the next post! (I had a longer playthrough today)2 points

I also mix american and british variants of words even in the same sentence. We (switzerland) also learn british english in school if I recall correctly, but most of my current english knowledge is acquired by internet-browsing so mixing naturally occurred as well. Not helping either: Unity, the game engine we use, also mixes terms: It uses "Behaviour" instead if "Behavior", but also uses "Color" instead of "Colour". Strange world2 points

I wish I could actually draw on a computer. Then I would totally make fanart of my creatures. Also, is Jojo the only one reading these? SECOND RAIN Longtooth and Birdember set up their den/home underneath an oak tree. Birdflower gets ready to have her first child. Because she's spoiled, she gets to live in the Medicine Cat den. :T (Meanwhile, Tigersnout managed to take out a stagmole by himself, even tho he has no strength at all. (out of view)) Next day, and the two kits are born. Hollowmoss and Birdflower have Flipkit, while Longtooth and Birdember have Rosekit. Flipash's only wish is to: dig up lots of roots Rosetooth's only wish is to: find a healing Plant and heal another creature (wish basically means she wants to be med cat) Cloudember retires, and Duskstar enters his fifth life (my previous posts say he should be on his fourth life, but I think I might have forgotten to say he entered his forth life, so we're gonna say he's going on the fifth. If he is supposed to be on his fourth life, well, sorry.). Duskstar visits Flipkit to determine whether Birdflower and Hollowmoss should have more kits or not. As he approaches her, he falls in love with her, due to her posison fangs and yellow coloring reminding of his second mate, Ashblaze. He tells Birdflower and Hollowmoss that they may return to their warrior/med cat duties, and Duskstar himself will raise the child. Birdflower is happy to get rid of the kit (she doesn't like them much anways), but Hollowmoss is a little sad (though happy to not be Birdflower's mate anymore). Longtooth retires, and Cloudember passes away. Birdember regretfully retires, and with the only not-retired warrior being Birdflower, Duskstar makes her his deputy. She is given Rosepaw as her apprentice. Longtooth and Smalleaf pass away. Rosepaw and Flippaw become Rosetooth and Flipash. Duskstar chose Rosetooth's warrior name after her mother, and Flipash's after his second mate. Birdember passes away, leaving Duskstar, Hollowmoss, Birdflower, Tigersnout, Rosetooth, and Flipash to continue the clan. THIRD RAIN As it starts raining, Duskstar and Flipash become mates. I didn't realize it was his time yet, but Hollowmoss passes away. Flipash's kit is born, and is named Blossomkit. Also, we apparently hit ten generations. Blossomfang's only wish is to: mate with a Friendly bearyena Blossompaw becomes the apprentice of Rosetooth. Rosetooth has dreams of being a medicine cat, but she knows it would be bad for the Clan, as it needs every (breedable) warrior it can get. The Clan starts moving to a different part of the island. Duskstar enters his sixth life. Also, I've been giving him ten extra days for each life, but I'm gonna tone it down to five, as ten feels like waaay too much. I mean, day sixty two, Duskstar hasn't died yet? Flipash and Tigersnout find an elder on her last day of life named Briarnose. They invite her into the clan to spend her final day in peace. FOURTH RAIN Flipash has another kit, whom she names Goldenkit. Goldenkit is born under the same tree Rosetooth was born under. Goldenberry's only wish is to: collect at least three berries from every berry bush they find Blossompaw becomes Blossomfang, due to her poison fangs. Before Tigersnout becomes too old to have kits, Duskstar convinces him to have kits with Rosetooth and Blossomfang, so that a male with hopefully be born. As it is already raining, Blossomfang goes and gives birth. (Rosetooth used up all her moves already) Birdflower retires, and Duskstar makes Flipash his deputy. Blossomfangs has her kit, and the Clan rejoices- it's a male! She names him Featherkit. Featherfish's only wish is to: travel to a new land Tigersnout and Birdflower pass away. Duskstar enters his seventh life. FIFTH RAIN DuskClan finds a melanistic wanderer named Fuzzdust. Fuzzdust's only wish is to: destroy every berry bush they come across Fuzzdust becomes the mate of Blossomfang. The Clan find Fuzzdust's brother, Seedrunner. Seedrunner's only wish is to: never hurt a living creature Goldenpaw becomes Goldenberry. Seedrunner and Rosetooth fall in love, but first Rosetooth has to give birth to her child. She has Owlkit, while Flipash has Birdkit, and Blossomfang has Reedkit. Owlrock's only wish is to: become leader of the tribe Birdsting's only wish is to: become leader of the tribe Reedember's only wish is to: become leader of the tribe Looks like we have three leader wanna-bes! A Bearyena appears threatening Rosetooth and her son. The clan attacks, but the Bearyena lives through the night, only to move away from it's attackers and to Fuzzdust, then dying from poison. Featherpaw becomes Featherfish. To be continued on DUSKCLAN THREE KEEPS EITHER ONLY HAVING FEMALES EXCEPT FOR DUSKSTAR OR ONLY HAVING MALES2 points

I read a bit of Warriors, not a ton though, but still consider myself a fan. I'm in a WC roleplay and have my own Clan I call ShoreClan that I write about sometimes. Yah, I made tons of mistakes starting out too. Like not addressing the double digging claw issue, and not restraining myself from having all the kids lol2 points

SIXTEENTH RAIN Talonrunner has a kit with Loudstorm, and they become mates. They have a she-kit and name her Ivywillow. Ivywillow follows the Warrior code to the letter, and has high respect for her clan leader. Her serious demeanor tends to intimidate other cats. Fidgetstar is on his fourth life. Peltshine dies, and while he is burying her he finds Dewhawk, a cat with proficiency in medicine cat skills. However, he also sort of wants to have kits. Fidgetstar asks him to join his clan and be medicine cat there, since his just died and there are no available females in his clan. Dewhawk agrees. A predator approaches the clan and attacks Talonrunner. Talonrunner is killed. SEVENTEENTH RAIN Loudstorm is trapped in a carnivorous plant. He is rescued and Dewhawk does his best, but Loudstorm soon dies from his injuries. EIGHTEENTH RAIN Dewhawk dies as well, and it is only Fidgetstar and Ivywillow. "Fidgetstar," calls Furtuft. "Furtuft? Been a few rains since I've seen you last." "I have good news. Things aren't going to get better immediately, but they will get better. By the time you hit Starclan, your clan will be twice as good as when you first took your steps as clan leader." "Furtuft." Furtuft waits for Fidgetstar to continue. "What happens then?" "I'm no Starclan, Fidgetstar." "I mean to you. Where will you go?" Furtuft's ears prick forward, and he looks at his nephew. "Hate to tell you, Fidgetstar, but I ain't down here to babysit you." He smiles. "Me? I'll be here long after you're gone." "Doesn't that bother you?" Such a fate seems no fun to Fidgetstar, who finds it depressing even to only have one other cat around. "Can't get bothered by something that's not up to me," Furtuft muses. He looks at Fidgetstar, who seems far more concerned than he. "Honor you'd consider me, though."' That is all Fidgetstar hears before the voice of Furtuft fades and his eyes open to the rain. Fidgetstar finds a red tom on the border of clan territory. His name is Redheart. He wants many kits and to make peace with other clans. He thinks Ivywillow rather pretty, but also considers her far too grumpy. NINETEENTH RAIN "Not in a million rains, Fidgetstar," growls Redheart. "Come on, Redheart. We need more young warriors in the clan." Redheart flattens his ears and gently approaches Ivywillow. "I accept your offer," Ivywillow says, flicking her tail. "I'm no more attracted to you than I would be to a dodomingo, but I put the clan first over everything. The two of them become mates and have Silverleaves. Silverleaves desires peace and security for the clan and wishes they would move somewhere less treacherous. The clan is also joined by Lappingbriar, an apprentice-aged female. She is rather laid back. Fidgetstar moves onto his fifth life. A bearyena attacks the clan. Ivywillow is killed, and Lappingbriar is mildly wounded. TWENTIETH RAIN Lappingbriar and Silverleaves are now adults. They mate and have a kit. The kit is named Eaglepounce. Despite his name, he is a bad hunter. He has mental instability issues, making him rather aggressive and unpredictable. Redheart dies of old age and is given a proper burial.1 point

imagine like a savanna with grasslands and an oasis of sorts in the centre so you need to unlock it to gain access to better food sources, or like an island where you need to breed the underwater genes to gain access to a plentiful water biome! so many different scenarios 🤩1 point

Hi! I wanted to recommend an idea. It may be to late to ask, but could it be possible to maybe add that when a pregnant female dies, she has her baby. Weather or not she is on a nest. I cant count the number of times I had a female I really wanted to have a baby, but couldn't find a nest or build one and she's died. I cried when it happened today.1 point

Something I've wished for ever since I lost my first baby Nicheling to a wandering Bearyena is the ability to pick up baby Nichelings and move them as long as they have one gem or less. That way, a parent could move them to safety in case of danger. I've also wondered what would happen if there were a random event that might happen when a young Nicheling is taken by a bird. Instead of being taken, they just lose a lot of their life span and are left with the "bleeding" debuff if their strength is high enough? Other things that I think would be cool to implement include, but are not limited to, a breeding season (increases rogue male spawn rate, baby Bearyena spawn rate, and general fertility of Nichelings for a short time every so often?), an elder stage (where breeding becomes impossible? The breeding option could just be greyed out with the message "this animal is too old to breed."), and new genes to eat the bark off trees. Trees could also be used to claim territory by marking them with claws or antlers? This might discourage the spawn rate of wandering Nichelings and increase the spawn rate of predators? Another gene I'd like to see is an underwater "smelling" gene. It wouldn't have to be a nose, but it could be a more fish-like sensory organ. There could also be an antennae in the antler slot to act as a smelling buff, if Nichelings were to develop bug-like genes.1 point
