  1. Fun fact, night active Nichelings existed in the very first version of the game Would be cool to bring them back, but that would be a quite a lot of work ^^

Please try to add a question with each answer. Please try to post new questions. I'll begin by asking one of my own. What are you watching on TV right now?

  7. This is mostly for realism, and is mean to correspond with the lifespan lengthening. I don't know exactly how this would work, but... If the lifespan for nichelings is set to more than a certain number of days, then although rogue males would have the same lifespan, their incapability at doing many tasks in order to gather food and resources gives them a toll on their lifespan. They would have their own 'food storage' and if it runs out, the begin to starve like the playable nichelings do.

  8. So it seems to be the new trend to start a RP story.. Sooo IF YOU CANT BEAT EM, JOIN EM. Anyway I have decided to play out siri's killer island challenge, with my own twists. Killer island challenge: 1. Pack seeks out the strongest and most impressive genes (Eg: Bearyna claws) 2. The pack has to 'conquer' each island by clearing off every blade of grass (Not counting regrowing grass) And finally, as my own addition, I have to visit every killer island and conquer them. Welp, lets start! Here are our awesome starters! Heres the island So after some meandering around the starting area gathering food, the beautiful Oliander settles into a nest to give birth to her first child. Rust (My starting male) wanders around the small camp, pulling the blades of grass and twigs over to hide the small family. Before they know it, Patch is born. Oliander looks down at her son, smiling fondly. At the same time however, she felt a sort of nagging in the back of her head. She had been banished from her family for lacking the defensive genes that were vital to survival, and rust, who was native to the area, had found her on the beach of the island, exhausted and shivering. She wanted her children to be strong, so that they did not end up with the same fate she had inherited. A small noise distracts her from her thoughts. Then came crashing. Rust looked up from the berries he was eating from and quickly stood between the shaking grass and his mate. Suddenly, a bright red, derp-snouted male face plants into the berry bush beside them. A thin silence sits for a moment. Rust and Oliander stared in dumbfounded anger that this ugly male had DARED crash into their camp, and into their one food source! As rust is about to punish this male, a small noise erupts from patch who had been picking berries for his mother. "HAHAHA THAT WAS SO FUNNY" The kit erupted into uncontrollable giggles, rolling around in the grass and getting berry juice all over his paws. Oliander, rust and the male all started to laugh as well, as the kit was covered in pink and purple berry juice, and looked like a giant berry. The male, wiping tears from his eyes began to speak: "Hello , My name is Kuduk. Im sorry for crashing in so suddenly. I have been by myself for a while and it would be nice to join a pack again!". Oliander, about to give a resounding no, then noticed the genes that this odd and rude nicheling was carrying... Ram horns, spiky body, and nimble fingers. She gave him a small sniff, but quietly passed him some berries in acknowledgement. Rust frowned, and turned to clean up his still giggling son. The next few days pass at a leisurely pace. Oliander soon gives birth to 2 small double diggerpawed daughters, one with pink spots like a butterfly, and another with silvery fur. They are named Padame and Silver. Aaaaaaannnnnddddd no sooner then them being born, a rouge male arrives. Rust, seeing this ugly horrible creature lurking around his mate, quickly makes sure oliander is constantly surrounded by family to protect her. Oliander soon gives birth to 2 more sons. Which, was when the first bearyna arrived...

  9. I will post everything and anything I draw of Meringue. It's probably gonna mostly be Piskels, because it's easy for me to draw on there. Also, here's the picture of him in-game, for reference: This one isn't animated because I'm lazy

  11. Because, oh my god, that woman plays her voice like an instrument. And I've seen recordings of her live performances, she's really that good. What toys growing up captured your fascinations and entranced you? For me it was marble runs, capsella, all the mechanical engineering toys.

  12. Ending up alone. I’ve always been sort of an eccentric, and the town I’ve grown up in limits what friends I can make because most of them aren’t like me. I’m scared that I’ll be alone without friends one day, no matter how hard I try. What’s your favorite song? Why’s it your favorite?

  13. I don't have a console, but I was a Nintendo (NES AND SNES) fan until Sony got into the game. I still think Nintendo is a great innovator, but today I'm strictly a PC gamer. Let's get serious. What is your greatest concern for the future?

  14. Seems like fun! I’ll answer your’s, Lurkily: I don’t really watch TV, but I think The Good Doctor is okay. My turn! What’s your favorite console?

  20. Maybe when the fur gets messy a younger Nicheling can lick it to make it tidy again? Because in my mind my tribe members would make sure that the fur of their elders was well kept (shouldn't be to hard to implement either because licking is already a part of the game). I would really like to see the fur around the snout turning white or grey like it does with dogs sometimes

  21. So I've kinda been thinking about this for a while now but what if there was like... tiny movements with your creatures when you do an action? Like not full on walking animations or digging animations or attacking animations since the models for the creatures aren't really meant to move much... but like... tiny movements? Lemme just explain So basically, say you move your mouse around really fast, the ears could wiggle a little bit. If you had big ears they would wiggle a lot, medium ears wiggle a little, and round ears wiggle barely at all. Or some snouts could do the same, like the digging trunk. If you move your mouse across the screen fast enough the trunk would wiggle. Maybe with big nose too. Maybe when you move a creature around the tail would kinda wiggle too. Also when the creatures are sitting still the tail could like, swish around or wag or something. The fur could also move around when you move a creature. I know there's suggestions similar to this one but I wanted to talk about smaller movements and not full on animations that Nichelings could have That's all for now :))

  22. So I was playing in story mode and I was mostly focusing on gathering food rather than breeding, and in 50 days I got 413 food. From this, I had the idea to start a little contest about how much food you can get, in story mode, in 50 days. If you want to try, just put how much food you got, and maybe a picture of your island to show how your nichelings collected the food?

  24. i know a lot of people really like the idea of more hybrids, but personally I think that hybrids should be kept to bearyneas only. It makes them seem more special and unique to other predators like the apes and balance bears, and if they were to receive hybrids too, bearyneas would be widely overlooked. that's just my opinion on hybrids though, and I wouldn't actually find it offensive for more hybrids to be added

  34. 'Sniffing the air with caution, rust slowly inched towards his mate. "Oliander, we have to get the children away, I smell a bearyna...with a child." Oliander shook her head stubbornly. She would not run. She turns to Kuduk and growls. "We invited you before my children were born, and we have kept you safe and fed, and have allowed you the privilege of even talking to my kits. Prove your worth and help us slay this beast. Kuduk looks at her, slightly shocked, but quickly smooths his fur and marches towards the shaking grass, patch and rust at his flanks. They surround the ugly predator, and quickly slayed it, and tamed the small bearyna cub hidden in the brush. Shaking himself, kuduk walks towards Padame, who was expecting his child. Rust walked towards him and murmurs a thanks for the help to kill the beast. Kuduk shakes his head. "There will be more. We have murdered a bearyna mother, which is one of the most horrible offences to the bearyna tribe. we must move, the great killer bearynas will arrive soon...". Rust waves this away as if he was swatting a fly. "You are berries in the brains. My mate will be dying tomorrow, and your child will be born. Stop speaking such blasphemous things!". The tribe would soon face the hardest trial they had ever faced. Oliander and rust die the next day, and the tribe sits in silence. The next few days are mellow. Padame gives birth to 2 sons, one named pinky and one named brain. One pleasant morning, the tribe was digging up roots and picking berries, preparing to mate with the friendly bearyena they had tamed. Padame and Silver were the chosen females to mate with it. As they were walking towards it however..Chaos erupts in the camp. Screams of fear ring out from the kits, and the adults were not very different. With a courageous shout, padame, yells out to the tribe to move towards the oak tree and river. Nichelings race around silver, who was caught up in some bushes and twigs. Kuduk was killed by one of the killer bearynas as he fled, as well as patch, who did his best to block the bearyna from reaching the others. Silver sees no chance for her tribe to survive the attack. Even if they were able to flee, the great bearynas would follow them. She looked towards the friendly bearyna, who was trembling in the bushes, unsure of what to do. They needed his claw genes. She Leapt over the bushes and mated with it as quickly as possible. She scrambled to flee the giant Killers that towered over her and swatted at her. One of their paws connected, and she yelped and crashed into the grass. The killers slowly started at her, and raised their claws to deliver the final blow. Silver closed her eyes, waiting for death., 'AUGAHAHGH" One of the giant bearynas let our a pain filled bellow. She peeked open her eyes, to see reed ( I couldn't remember his name so I made up one.) On the killers back biting into its shoulder. "RUN!" He screamed at her. "I'll HOLD THEM OFF" Silver, without thinking jumped out of the grass, heart beating, adrenaline pumping. She ran, and ran until she tumbled into a small camp, under the before mentioned oak tree. The others looked at her in shock, and then let out crys of joy. They helped her to a nest, and padame came over and hugged her sister. The next day, a small grey baby was born. Shaggy furred, long snouted, and bearyna clawed.Silver stared down at her daughter with a mix of love, and horror. Her daughter was a beautiful light grey, with a long snout and delicate features. She did carry a bearyna claw... Silver shivered at the memory of that terrible day. The tribe praised her for her bravery to get a bearyna-fathered child. All she could think of however, was the nicheling that saved her...Reed..who had also not appeared since that day. The real Hero.

  37. I get all my presents on Christmas (or whatever day I'm with my relatives). At least I get to see the new Fantastic Beasts movie on my birthday (I got to see the first one when I turned 11, which is perfect, because that's the age when everybody goes to hogwarts-- I got a Harry Potter themed B-day party, too!)! I actually got Niche on my birthday-- well, I guess it was the day after, because by the time I got home from seeing a movie, it was too late and I had to do it the next morning. Oh, and I also never have school on my birthday!

  38. Hey! We can be friends on roblox! I'm just Skysplash8 I look pretty cool (ahem, sorry, I'm bragging, aren't I?), but it's all stuff from events. I have never had any robux. Also, the reason why my username is Skysplash8 on literally everything, except games I've played for ages (which is really just one game): I have a warrior cats OC named Splashberry, and when I made my Minecraft account, I wanted something relating to her. So i chose Skysplash, but it was taken, so I added an 8, my favorite number. So Skysplash8 was born! Anyways, I'll send you a friend request (Also, I don't play very often)

  41. A quote from an article: "However, Mech explains, his studies of wild wolves have found that wolves live in families: two parents along with their younger cubs. Wolves do not have an innate sense of rank; they are not born leaders or born followers. The "alphas" are simply what we would call in any other social group "parents." The offspring follow the parents as naturally as they would in any other species. No one has "won" a role as leader of the pack; the parents may assert dominance over the offspring by virtue of being the parents. While the captive wolf studies saw unrelated adults living together in captivity, related, rather than unrelated, wolves travel together in the wild. Younger wolves do not overthrow the "alpha" to become the leader of the pack; as wolf pups grow older, they are dispersed from their parents' packs, pair off with other dispersed wolves, have pups, and thus form packs of their owns." Okay, might not be the most reliable source ever, but this is what I think. (source)

  47. I think the reason bluebirds don’t exist on Home Island is the same reason why predators don’t exist on the island. Sure, it would make sense, but it was designed to be a literal paradise and “reward” for all those hard-working players that manage to bring their family lineage home. Again, it’d make sense, but it would be the equivalent of a random homeless guy that lives in the sewers f-bombing your party and kidnapping your favorite cousin.
