But still, While im I love the concept of these bears(we really needed more jungle fauna) I do think they need a redesign. I love them anyway and really appreciate the dev's work, so I dont care that much about their aspect, but... They just look too weirdly humanoid to fit in the wild. I would give The Brown Bear the arms of a balance Bear, and maybe make its legs less stubby and give it a hunched back. And the green Bear Just needs more bear like arms and legs. Maybe it could be on all fours instead of sitting. Sorry, just saying my opinion.6 points

@Finnwinter The brown one is a very peaceful bear ^^ He walkes around and really likes to hang out with Rabbils. What he does not like at all, is violence. If he witnesses a creature attaking another creature he gets super angry and will hunt down the attacker. This can be useful for you, if he watches you getting attacked by let's say a Bearyena. But if he catches you attacking a Rabbil he'll come after you.6 points

A minimal version of this will be in the next update. You can make sandbox settings with custom Nichelings and send the settings over to other players. No unique genes like Animal Crossing though.6 points

That usually happened when cactus somehow landed on the traveling ports and the Nicheling would then glitch into it when you arrived on the new island. usually you could get the Nicheling free without destroying the cactus, except when it was still a child, then you either had to wait or destroy the cactus ^^5 points

Haha No it wasn't! The heat body was designed by a Kickstarter backer5 points

I will survive. I completed the rabbil challenge once. You can't imagine how terrible it looked to me when I was watching Seri's videos and she hunted them. What a monsterous hunter she looked like to me!4 points

Oh boy I sense a war already coming with this bear. Rabbils are like sweets. I can't resist the urge to hunt them.4 points

This is my first idea for the game that I've had for some time, Keen Eyes gives 3 sight to what ever has it. It could be just a base gene or be like round ears and only be found on home island. For some reason this has just stuck with me for so long that i could just call it one of my favorite genes. For its symbol it could be like a goat's eye or the normal eye with more of a pupil in the middle. Why I wouldn't go with a cats eye if for a other eye gene that could go with moving at night. Out of all my genes this is the mostly to get but into the game in some way or form. Anyway I'm off😴 Edit: How to get, Clear # amount of tiles (250 tall grass for one) Survive # amount of days or Can be found by going to new islands (like most genes)3 points

This will be added in the next update. How it works: You can choose how long each age level is (baby, child, teen, adult). And you also get a damage multiplier if you want your Nichelings to live longer, but still take significant damage from attacks, hunger etc.3 points

I remember when I first hit 100 hours in Niche. Boy was I proud. Now it kinda seems funny. I don't even want to know how fast my hour counter will go up with the sandbox update. Especially if it comes in the my semester break ^^3 points

I actually really like these new bears, my only issue is the eyes on the green one. They feel just a touch too intense and not animal like if that makes sense, I think maybe if the eyes were more like nichelings? colored and then with a pupil. I feel bad giving criticism like this because I know a lot of hard work goes into making these creatures and I don't want to make it look like I'm not appreciative.3 points

That is a great idea, something to scare the apes away sounds so useful! (Not that there seem to be many apes around at the moment) They are pretty funny looking ^^3 points

That's exciting. What are you most excited about? What do you want to be added the most? Me? Like, new genes are cool and all... But what I really want are quality of life updates. Things like more specific notifications, telling you which gene you unlocked. Better explanations telling what genes do what. I was really confused with peacock tail and purr snout when I first started. The ability to tell which islands you've already visited. Children inheriting their gemstone colors, so you don't have to change them every time they grow up one stage.2 points

you have the ability to start with two niching you create from scratch. you get to customize all the genes from fertility to eye sight. start with all the genes unlocked might be a bit over powered but you can have the option to play with unlocked genes from story mode. What do you think?2 points

Spliti was a close second for me, but Tigerfang just blew me away to be honest.2 points

I had the same thought about not appreciative. I think the bears will look a lot better once they are properly rendered2 points

just a top tip for generally anything you see that someone has made on the internet: if you don't like it, give criticism. people that create things will 100% of the time appreciate you telling them what to improve upon, because they may have not realised that themselves, and will be thankful once they improve that thing you pointed out and realised how much better it looks. just dont say "this is so bad" or "I hate this" because that's not really helping anyone. sorry for the paragraph-long life lesson, I just thought this is important to know, youre probably older than me lol2 points

Meringue feels sorry for his former mate's young daughter, being the only sickly one. Not wanting her to be lonely, always a tile away from everyone, he blesses her with restored health. But her light red ram horns in an all-antler tribe give her away as one of Meringue's descendants. Ta-da! Healthy! A new son is born to Bostonlobstah. She names him Stacey. Here are these lovely reindeer clone friends. They are adorable, but I have a new rule. Any nicheling that does not have any pink is no longer able to breed. (I might even make them sterile!) The only exception is Adam 2.0 . We interrupt this message with a closeup of Bostonlobstah Back to the real world, where siblings mate with each other. So we have a conundrum. (I'm not sorry, I like that word) It's called, everyone has big and medium body and we need to cross the ocean and not die. Luckily, Bostonlobstah is magical. So this happens:2 points

Jojo! Jojo is welcomed into the tribe, and becomes fast friends with Pineapple. Bostonlobstah's family makes their way to the ports. They decide that only the pink nichelings will come with her, besides her mate, Adam 2.0, of course! WOW look at all these healing plants! Too bad everyone's immortal. Flicka manages to snag a spot on the ports, despite not having an inch of pink on her. (It's because she's sooooo cute, okay?) Saying goodbye to the creatures we must *sadly* leave behind. Any of them may be seen again though, so don't worry! See you later, Apricot, Peeka, Reindeer, and Meringue! Bye Cherry and son, Pooka and Jojo! (sorry for the brief appearance, Jojo will definitely be seen again at some point!) ...And goodbye, Frosty Spikes and Pineapple! Everyone is ready to move on. From left to right: Adam 2.0, Poozie, Grape, Flicka, Bert, Avrie, Ernie, Frosty, Bostonlobstah and Adeline. The little pink tribe finds themselves on a sprawling series of islands. Bostonlobstah loves the taste of the seabreeze and the sound of the waves, but she doesn't like waves much. Ernie x Bert incest. I only just realized that the twins had compatible immunity genes. She's double pink and looks like a perfect clone of her father (Who's also her uncle). Her name is Gemmi. Adam sympathizes with Flicka for not being pink as he is un-pink himself. They mate while Bostonlobstah is obliviously exploring the little island. Also, two reindeer clones are born. After some more father-daughter incest, a sickly yet FREAKING ADORABLE baby girl is born.2 points
