  1. @ArtisticToad Currently, there is no option for pregnancy duration. But I agree that we have to consider it.

  3. that...is scary this is the best i got...she was from my sister's save and she was just trying it out, as expected she was absolutely horrified with all the derp snouts and cracker jaws XD She's got everything--derp snout, frog legs, swimming tail, fur the color of poop... SkinnySlate eventually found a derpy and buff wandering boyfriend named Ironstone and they even had a kid together ❤️

  4. Kinarri, god of Bravery ^^ He sacrificed himself to a Hearing Ape so that the tribe could escape (with help from two goddesses!).

  5. Razulia! (i was digging through my screenshots trying to find my old derpsnout Teal but I found this derpsnout creature instead but most of her body was covered so i spent an hour trying to reincarnate her on a copy of my main save and now this creature looks almost exactly like the original)

  6. Kind of. The adopted one never really got near a non-pregnant female, so I don't consider him one for roleplaying purposes only. The theme seems to be the more roleplay like 'no one was born bad so show them kindness once a year'. In reality, is it better to attempt to reform, or just punish? What if the first is more effective, making them less likely to? Is it not moral to want to reduce overall suffering? Still, I don't know if nichelings pair bond at all or just mate with everything. Certainly, the player forces matches on them all the time. How is that not allowing rape? How do you judge rape if nichelings have no thoughts, feelings or preferences? That's my main issue with rogue males, that there is just no framework to evaluate their actions in. Maybe they're like cats, sometimes chosing really, really ugly and sick mates. Maybe they are raping ducks on crack. How would we know? How do you judge rape in a framework with no concept of consent? Further, since the other options are murder, castration (I'm pretty sure that's against human rights) and switching their gender (welcome, gender disphoria?) there just is no good option. Yet, the game needs that sort of challenge. I'm pretty sure the random mutation branch (bad ones included) could have fixed the moral issue, but it made the game so bad, many considered it unplayable. Rogue males or no rogue males, whether present or not, they're about the most annoying thing about this game. I'd love them removed. Yet, the only replacement is adding random bad mutations. No idea if people would like that, judging by the failed first attempt. Maybe a possible off-switch would help all parties at least a little. Low effort, story tribes don't need the challenge and parents could remove it for less dubious content.

  7. hm. I want to submit my goddess of bravery (who went from bluebird food the bird didn't eat to killing three bearyneas) but she is literally a red derpsnout with 2 no paws and normal tail, so she wouldn't win for beauty. but I love her so I'm gonna enter her when I get on my computer cause I'm on my phone rn ok im not submitting her because 1) I never saved a family tree photo so I forgot her name 2) I actually want to win so im gonna start a tribe to try and breed a good submission that is all for now

  8. I can't stand them, but I once adopted this guy in a no mutations challenge. Pretty cute. I think I found his long lost baby brother, too. That tribe had really rare starters . Anyway, mom was really old and dad somewhere else, so he helped raise the two, always near. He propably empathized with the younger, both being the worse child and unable to gather much. Since the red guy was about to drop dead, he always stayed near the rogue, while his brother founded a purr fish line.

  14. Wolves do actually fish, but they use their mouth instead of their paws. I'm fairly sure sheep don't fish tho The normal claw seems to be based off of ambush preds like big cats who's paws are well designed for attacking prey and fishing. The wolf, being a pursuit pred, has paws adapted for speed rather than strength. I assume the claws are used for grip, like the studs on football boots, because they're useless when it comes to attack. Because wolves cant turn their paws like big cats can, the most they can do is bat at their preys hindlegs during a chase, which could do some damage, but doesn't really serve much purpose other than slowing the prey down a wee bit. Skill wise, a wolf's paw would basically function the same as the runner leg As I said above, a wolf's paw is useless for attack or fishing and would basically be the same as the runner leg I like the idea, but I don't think it should automatically kick the attacker. It makes sense for the spiky body to defend the nicheling whether it's out of turns or not; it takes no energy for spikes to defend a creature, because the spikes are always there. On the other hand, the nicheling would need energy to kick an attacker, and it wouldn't have any energy if all its turns have been used up. I would personally change this to strength, because it doesn't really make much sense to me to have it as an automatic sort of defense like the spiky body I would change the speed to an extra cold resistance. Balance doesn't affect speed. The wolf is fast and their tail does help them run without losing their balance, but if you were to take away the tail the wolf wouldn't be any slower. Likewise, if you were to stick a wolf's tail on a sloth, the sloth would still be as slow as it was before Ooft this is a pretty long comment I like this idea, upvoted

  15. Currently reading Night Whispers at the moment, but I’m fully aware of what has happened in most books. I’ve also read Moth Wing’s Flight, touched Crookedstar’s Promise but never really picked it up, and read The Rise Of Scourge.

  17. I have a three full blown OC clans: MeadowClan, DeepClan and GrasslandClan (the translations are not the best in german it's: AuenClan, TiefenClan und WiesenClan). My main OC lives in MeadowClan, her name is Bloodstar and she is the leader. My sister and I did the three clans and roleplayed with them every time we went up to the forest to walk the dog. One day I decided I have put so much work into them I want to make them a book and I am currently working on that (planning it to be a trilogy) I have read almost all Warriors Books so far apart from a few novellas that are only available as e-books (I don't like e-books but I am planning on getting them eventually) I am really dreading the new season coming up in april because of the ominous title 'The broken code'

  19. I really only attack rouge males after they make my whole tribe pregnant, and baby bearynas, I always invite them in. And, I never attack wanderers and had to kill only 1 dodomingo because I only had one tribe mate and they were starving.

  22. My clans are named after the surroundings they are in DeepClan lives in the lowest part of the forest with a huge cliff face separating them from most of the forest. MeadowClan lives in a light forest which is flooded regularly and GrasslandClan is much like WindClan living in the moorland hunting bunnies At the point I named the clans I didn't have their backstory so I didn't name them after any founders Aw man Mothwing's Flight made me cry like a baby.

  30. @Jojo Are you gonna submit your beautiful skullchild?

  31. Dang. I was thinking of submitting Angel the Skull Kid this time (remember her?) but this works too! Here’s my entry I found from digging through my past screenshots! (I always dig through past screenshots wh-) Here she is! She doesn’t have an actual name because she’s a wanderer, but since I’ll be booted out if I don’t state her name, I’ll call her Chrom. Y’see, I came across Chrom while experimenting with the newest update at the time, so that’s why she had weird patterns on her leg. I also liked Chrom because she’s pretty.

  32. @Philo About editing the aging, would pregnancy be longer? I think it would be too op to have 400 day old nichelings and able to have babies everyday.

  36. Hi there, I really love playing long-lived tribes and working towards achievements. So i thought it would be really nice to see in the familytree a counter that displays the current generation and maybe a second counter that shows how many generations are born on the current island. For example 💕11 | 🐾2 indicating it's the 11th generation and there are currently 2 generations born on this island. (if you just pass through without nesting it's 0) Greetings, Kaga87

  37. Mmm. Maybe you should have to unlock the gene and have the mother eat a certain food or something, then we could have an explanation that it boosted the chance of gender? Since this is a thing- https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/science/science-news/3340540/Diet-before-pregnancy-can-affect-babys-sex-new-research-suggests.html

  41. So, ages later. The tribe already moved to the next island, but I forgot to take a picture before we moved in. Anyways, Lime had another kid (his previous mate was Flax, one of Milday's twins, but Flax just passed away), and has Platypus Beak, compliments of Jungla. Except she has black eyes on her melanistic body, so she's really creepy. Thus, her name is Beaky Nightmare. I think i might go with weird names like that for the next generation(s). Aren't I so creative? Whoo! New wanderer to breed! His only (actually) bad traits are recessive Shortsighted Eyes and slightly bad fertility. Also, still rockin those names. Then we met his brother! What? Carviorous plant? Pfff. (Don't worry, i got Very Spotty out before any damage was taken.) I'm getting really creative.

  42. Too... much... yellow... NO While Kinarri distracts it, the rest of the tribe collects their babies and run. Luckily, the Ape spawned in the part with thorns and bushes blocking it from where the tribe is going. No! Kinarri! The tribe has found two sisters who guide the tribe away from the Hearing Ape and to the nearest port. In their haste, the Tribe picks the nearest port, a flower one. They leave behind Neah, Lemar, and Evar, along with the bones of elders who didn't make it (including Milady and the grief-stricken Merlady- Milady had twins on her second-to-last day, who are going to the new island) The new island! (a day later) Woah! Apparently Toxic Body (from Jungla) is dominant over Spiky Body.

  43. Currently decouplers do just that, decouple, and the two parts sort of just float there next to each-other if you are in 0G. but what id the decouplers had an explosion when triggered, no damage, only force. and when you selected the part you could increase/decrease the explosion force and choose a 0-180 degree explosion direction? this feature could also apply to my recoupler idea and to the factory block if it works well. (maybe not the factory block, that part is overpowered enough already)

  44. I actually don't think any combination of genes should result in you having 0 movement on land. Unless we're given the ability to make nests in the water, there would be no way for your full crark hybrid to move, breed, or find food -- they would be stuck in the nest indefinitely. In fact, none of the crark genes add movement, so even if you don't have a full hybrid then an unlucky combination of genes would leave you stranded like a beached whale. If you had a whole tribe of them, what good would carrying/dragging do if nobody can move? Not trying to sound harsh btw, I just think that a full gene set giving you 0 movement is a bad idea. At the very least it should be like blind nichelings where you can only move 1 tile on land, instead of 0 tiles on land, it seems broken.
