  5. So we found an evil plant oof The lovely but rather plain Satinette gives birth to Benjamin near her final days. Satinette settles down for her last child. What I'm doing is squeezing the last babies out of the old nichelings so we can move on to our next new breeding pair which consists of bananas Bananas gets to know her future mate. He has recessive toxic body so there is a 50% chance of a toxic baby each time I used Nuku as bait for the carnivorous plant. I later made him an Omega and gave everyone updated ranks: The most colorful Skittles are alphas, and the plainest Skittles are Omegas. Omegas will do the dirty work--carnivorous plant bait, ape bait, unlocking genes, exploring the jungles, etc. Poor Nuku has become our first victim. Don't worry, we free him immediately. Satinette's final child Even more last-minute children. This one is between Lemon and Cupid. Her name is Faun. She's kinda cute! wOAH whoddat also look at the babys, including the first active stinky tail AnOTHER POISON FANGED WANDERER!? what the heck! it's practically useless here. But the WINGGG YES Oh. He's infertile. ah well, we got the wing unlocked! Purr and Deprerella settle down for their last child. RIP exploring and getting eaten by plants along the way. Luckily no one is hurt OH MY YES We HAVE DOUBLE CLAWS His name is also Purr, because I consider him a reincarnation of the Purr who literally just died KISS THE RIVER GOODBYE, RAZORINAS!!! Oranges has a blind daughter oops o my precious...it's friggin antenna We are this close to unlocking Water Body...so I recruit Rala to one of the nicer Omega professions: Swimming in circles. Our first winged child is born! She's heckin cute, but not very skittley. Her mother, Sienna, is also quite dull. (oh look i caught her mid-blink) Her name is Penny Our second ever toxic baby! He looks like a jack-o-lantern! So his name is Pumpkin. oooo wow ok

  23. Hi there! I was getting a little bored with landela so I am thinking of ways to make it more exciting (Ideas anyone?) so, I am making a new playthrough I was kinda inspired by Medicine cat's Kingdom of Flame So here are the rule I will be tweaking a bit - The tribe functions like a monarchy. The oldest child of the current king or queen is the heir, and takes over once the king or queen dies.- If you are a king, queen, or heir, you are an alpha. If you are child of the king/queen/heir you are a beta. If you are not directly related to an heir you are an omega.- If the ruler dies before having children, the closest related capable nicheling will take their place. - Instead of this we will use horn color (Bluer the better) I will also be using LILYTUFT'S surnames! sorry lilytuft... Most of it will be explained as we go but these are the basics so we begin We start with these two... well... er... at least we are in the mountains so we have... Frost Nobleclaw and Amber Flamestrike both doubleclaws That Ice-block is our goal to get to Whoops... THEY DIDN'T EVEN ATTACK?! They then gave birth to Burn Flameclaw (Females have their moms name first; males the dads) We killed the other arctic foxes (We already killed one) We found a wanderer who meekly introduced himself as Taku Mousefoot, he is the first non-double claw in our tribe I'm going to end that there and start on my community challenge! That sentence is a paradox..

  28. Derperella and Taro (Purr): A blossoming friendship I swear all these trees give me the jitters. Which ones will spawn the hell demons of terror that are the GREAT APES A cute baby wanderer is found. He doesn't have the best of genes, or the most useful, but he's awfully cute, and little yellow skittle Lemon seems to enjoy a new friend her age. This couple settles down for their last child. Raine and her baby Oranges. I was going to wait for her to have the child since she's so young but she landed in a nest by accident! Gaaah I hate how we have so many beautiful poison fangs and they are literally useless on this island besides the occasional bearyena poisoning Koi II is born. She's orange as well, like literally every other skittle. But she's still super cute!! Like father like son. (Also look at all the razorinas! I'm just waiting now for a double-clawed baby to be born!) We encounter a bearyena whilst exploring the other side of the river. Luckily no skittle is harmed and the bearyena is taken out swiftly thanks to Pedro the cat's powerful claw. What is it with the rainforest and big body!? I invited this lady in on a whim, without even looking at her genes. OOF. I guess she can...pick berries or something Our first Toxic Bodied baby, finally! Her name is Bananas and she is beautiful

  29. The tribe is heading across the archipelago. Along the way, they bump into the most beautiful not-pink nicheling they have ever seen. Her name is Dragon Tear II (since her pattern is off OOF) and she knows the archipelago well. Bostonlobstah asks her if she could help to guide them to the next island. Dragon Tear II says yes, so she leads them to the last island in the archipelago chain. Meanwhile, the Forgotten Ones who were left behind on the first island have grown old without Bostonlobstah's magic. Pippin is the first fatality after 74 days. After saying goodbye to everyone being left behind, 10 nichelings move on to their first Medium-level island: Adam 2.0, Bostonlobstah, Stacey, Sense, Sensibility, Snowchild, Avrie, Adeline, Poozie and Frosty. The tribe finds themselves in a strange new land--with a huge and odd--looking port on the side.

  31. Many thanks to @Brokenshock! Our journey starts as DawnBringer and ForestSpirit find themselves in a strange wintery land, far from the grasslands they grew up in. Though there are no berry bushes or rabbils in sight, they do spot a frozen nicheling in the distance. As they journey towards this poor frozen creature, DawnBringer manages to dig up a close to the surface root, providing a little more food for their tribe of two. The next day, ForestSpirit manages to find a shell for DawnBringer to snatch up, replenishing their food supply. Inside the ice, they find young FlameHeart. Not the digging creature they had hoped for in this frozen tundra, but his big body and strength could potentially be helpful, so they welcome him into their tribe. ForestSpirit was the next to manage to dig up a root, but the struggle to do so haunted the small tribe, as did their awareness that just below the surface was food aplenty, if they could just reach it. But what is this?! A lone child with a digging paw has appeared! Will the tribe be able to reach her in time, with a bluebird flying overhead and an ever dwindling food supply?

  36. And here comes the next update. I didn't really feel like playing, plus school has started again, but once I began, the fun started. When we left off, a wanderer was around, a new baby had arrived and one of the females was still pregnant. She's the daughter of our derp snout Kuta and therefore the half-sister of Tourmaline. Her genes are a big disappointment, as she has recessive blind eyes, no velvet paw and only a recessive toxic body. Also, the wanderer gets invited. The tamed bearyena appears again, just in time for Kois to mate with him. She hopes to bring the bearyena genes into the pack, where they could be needed. Tourmaline and the rest of the tribe get really hot for some reason. Also, Lame has mated with the invited toxic-body wanderer, and is ready to give birth. Lame has given birth to a little clone of herself, the only differences between them are eyecolour (the baby's eyes are black, Lame's are green) wings (the wings have switched sides) and paws (the baby has a claw, while Lame is crippled). It's her last day, and she's pregnant again, because none of her children have inherited her J immunity so far. Lame passes away shortly after she gave birth to a little baby girl. She inherited the toxic body and the velvet paw, but not her mother's J immunity. Because of her golden pelt and her brown dots, she's called Amber. Our invited wanderer dies, but a new pair of mates has appeared. Tourmaline and his half-sister Rekola mate together. They are trying to start a lineage of winged, toxic bodied nichelings. Also, a wanderer appears next to the two. He looks cool, but doesn't carry the right genes (actually, they are really weird). Also, Kois has given birth to her hybrid child, but was too old to survive the next day. The baby, Kunuro, possesses all bearyena genes (most of them recessive) and unlocks the bearyena claw. He's destined to be a warrior, and a protector of the pack. A day passes, and Lame's clone daughter (aka Sisana I think) discovers a rabbil at the shore. She jumps onto it, trying to catch it, but fails as it jumps away- although not far enough to avoid her deadly hit. Proud, she gathers the meat and decides to become a hunter. Meanwhile, Koana (the yellow female with the stinky tail sitting on the nest) has mated with Vannuduk. They both carry the velvet paw, and hope for a baby that carries on this precious paw onto the next generation, since it's not sure which lineage Amber will follow - the one of her older brother or her own? Koana anxiously awaits her firstborn - only to see her hopes for a velvet paw crushed. The healthy little girl between her paws carries nothings but the digging paw - twice. Apart from that, her genes are almost pure perfection (apart from the yellow fur). Still, little Kolaana will most likely not be used for breeding. Meanwhile, Tourmaline and his mate Rekola have decided to build their own nest, and Rekola has given birth to a daughter. However, she's not at all what expected. With double claw and lacking toxic body, Ralame is entirely not what Tourmaline and Rekola wish their line to look like. Islais is the second result of the desperate breeding for a velvet paw. Like her older sister, she only possesses digging paws. This seems almost like a curse. Also, Tourmaline and Rekola have their second child, a rainforest-beauty with bad eyes and recessive peacocktail, Kola. Or Coca Cola, as I like to call her. The digging paw curse has happened again - the third daughter of Koana and Vannuduk is born, no velvet paw is to be seen in poor Rare's genetics. Meanwhile, Amber is off to discover the unknown depths of the jungle, while our huntress Sisana hunts in the grass. Tourmaline and Rekola also had their third daughter, Memera, the first winged creature in the history of the tribe. Her crackerjaw will be perfect to crack nuts. She also has the toxic body and recessive poison fangs of her father. While Koana gives birth to their last child, Vannuduk passes away. The tribe is panicked - will the velvet paw stay? In the early morning, little Tataku is born - the first nicheling of the tribe to carry a double velvetpaw. His genes are almost perfect, except for the non dominant webbed hindlegs, but the curse of the digging paw has been broken. He gets renamed to Velvet, showing the importance of his genes. As you see in the top left corner, Ralame (the claw child) and Kunuro (the hybrid) are both next to a nest. This is because they are a breeding pair. The primary goal is to give the recessive bearyena genes on to the next generation, and then to pair two of their children up, to unlock all bearyena genes. The secondary, long-time goal is a line of protectors and fighters. The double digging paw Kolaana also went to the west, since there are many roots underground. She's right next to Sisana, who's there to hunt rabbils and stagmoles. Kolaana discovers an albinistic wanderer with poison fangs, but since he has a recessive purrsnout (I don't really use purrsnout) and a crippled paw, we won't invite him. The fourth daughter of Tourmaline and Rekola gets born. She's basically a copy of her older sister Memera. Our first bearyena gene kid gets born. Taroduk is perfect, except for the lacking dots and the bad fertility. The pack hopes for a female that he can mate with. Behind the young family, a bearyena appears. He picked the wrong prey, getting killed by four hits. Memera sits onto a tree, starting to gather food by cracking the walnuts around it open. The group is doing really well so far. Tourmaline and Rekola get a fifth daughter, Analare. She possesses the toxic body, but lacks a wing. Her genes aren't too good, but they are alright. Our second hybrid son gets born, showing off the poison fangs of his grandfather, Tourmaline. Speaking of which, Tourmaline is now father to a sixth daughter, that proudly presents her toxic body. Except for her gender and her head, she's the exact reproduction of her dad. Our two hybrid boys finally get a sister. She shares the same immunity genes with her older brother, and one with her poison fanged brother, but it is still decided that she will mate with both of them, for the sake of the new genes and the future of the pack. This is were I'll leave everything so far. The tribe has grown since the beginning, and begins to part into three different bloodlines: The winged toxic bodies, the strong bearyena hybrids and the fast velvet paws. Let's see how well this will go.

  37. While threats continued to surround them, so too did a new hope, in the form of rabbils On her last day, beside her mate, LightningSwift built her nest, fearful but also hopeful. Many threats surrounded them, but she knew they would be well protected by CloudStream and StarSpot Surrounded once more, StarSpot and CloudStream found themselves facing a tough decision - protect the youngest in their tribe and risk death in the process, or leave him to a cruel fate. Fate however must have been feeling kind that day, for luck was on his side as both the fox and the bear bypassed the unnamed cub in favour of other, unknown targets. The threat had not completely passed however. Once again, the unnamed boy was spared by fate, and so in thanks, he was given the name Faith's Chosen. The small tribe happened upon a glacier in their wanderings and, spotting the shape of a creature inside, broke it open to discover a stunning remnant of ancient time, who held a dark and sorrowful secret - that his tribe had consigned him to the ice, to prevent his sickness from spreading With the gift of flight, Nukirduk was able to bring another wanderer to the tribe, despite ever dwindling food supplies. Though he was sick, Nukirduk quickly proved his worth to the tribe, snatching up rabbils as fast as his wings would allow him to. Meanwhile, now nearing the end of his life, CloudStream asked Isis if she would carry the tribe, telling her the stories his parents had brought with them from the grasslands And so it was, consumed by the need to collect enough food to survive the rapidly approaching winter that the small tribe found itself split in two.

  38. sooo, two nichelings, eh? Matador! Yes, I know what his name means, my father was in the room when he was born and I had him name the children sooo. Matador was the first creature with toxic body in my Whims Of Fate/Annini's Gifts tribe. He had several children, one of which is the purple beauty is the background (who is with her new mate). Poison Fangs is a big blessing in the Annini's Gifts tribe, as the mutation for it is not yet unlocked, and has only been kept in the tribe by breeding very carefully (the gene was originally obtained from a few wandering males), though it always seems to pop back up when I think it's gone forever. Matador's precious fangs are still in the tribe today. Oz, god of Green Toxic Body. He was found by a member of Berri's tribe, where Berri was sent back to the mortal world to learn that beauty isn't everything. The nicheling who found Oz was a pretty daughter of Berri named Rose. Rose was calling out on a stump in hopes of finding a mate, and soon came Oz. He kinda tricked me because his paws are clutched right against his body, so at first I though he was glitched out and didn't have any paws. Her nearly became the god of Trickery for that, but I realized a nicheling from the past, Mekoko, fitted the job much better. Anyways, a few days after Oz came, Rose called out again on her stump with her and Oz's child at her feet, and out came Oz's daughter, Zelena. Zelena also had green Toxic Body, along with antenna, and recessive platypus beak.

Can I get female Strongchilds? *gets females* Introducing... 42. Two more travelling creatures from the grasslands find themselves at the foot of the Long Winter Mountain. In the distance, three frozen nichelings dream of eventual rescue, but for now, ThunderStruck and LightningSwift are more interested in building up their food supplies, a task that will be made a lot easier with ThunderStruck's double digging paw Both struggle to stay warm in the cold weather, a factor that influences their decision to immediately have a kit, without first stocking up on food as they had initially planned Little CloudStream is gifted with the same digging paw as his father, an auspicious sign in these mountains. Nevertheless, the awareness looms that with three mouths to feed, food will soon start running short. With a sky clear of birds, the decision is made to leave CloudStream in the nest while they search for food. ThunderStruck's double digging paws means that he can dig up enough of the roots to feed the tribe all for a day, allowing him to rush back to his son's side, and just in time too, as the next day brings with it the dreaded cry of a bird on the search for prey On his way to find more roots, ThunderStruck stumbles across a bear lurking just outside of sight from the nest he and LightningSwift had hoped to make their home around Thankfully, they manage to flee as the snow beings to fall, hopefully covering their scent from the bear. LightningSwift finds the next root, and though her family lacks the energy to collect it today, sapped by the cold and their hasty escape, she builds a nest secure in the knowledge that the root, and the one nearby will be dug up tomorrow. StarSpot's birth brings with it another accursed bird, but LightningSwift will not leave her undefended.

  43. Winter's Gift manages to convince Sorrow to leave the nest and move to FlameHeart's side, while she gathers enough food to survive today Sadly, FlameHeart passes on, while danger continues to surround Winter's Gift and Sorrow. A strong survivor appears in the winter wastelands, but with no food to offer her, Winter's Gift is unable to invite her into the tribe. With little hope and now all alone in the freezing tundra, Sorrow bows her head and struggles to find the energy to move away from the approaching predator. She was not built for this environment, more suited to sneaking through the long grass, like the parents she had never met. And so it was that after 15 days, the journey of our small tribe came to an end, having failed to find their evolutionary niche in the mountains of Long Winter

  44. So I know that customizing your own island has already been suggested, but if that's too difficult to implement I like the idea of being able to decide what does/doesn't show up on your island. There could be an island settings button that would increase/decrease the spawn rate of bearyenas/rabbils/moles/etc that can be decreased all the way down to 0. same with berry bushes, rocks, oak trees. I know absolutely nothing about video game design but I assume that somehow it's coded in how many of the physical items such as berry bushes spawn in on an island and how many spaces apart they are so that way an island doesn't get overwhelmed with items like that. It would be cool if there was a player option to decide how many of those items spawn on their island. This way the creators don't have to find a way to make it so players can place items specifically in one spot in the game, but rather give them the ability to decide what they want and how often they want it. this would be good for lots of challenges, like a no berry bush challenge but increasing the amount of mole burrow spawns, that way they have to make all creatures have at least 2 strength, Or good for giving the player a way to play around with the genetics without breaking their game with console commands, now they can increase the amount of berry bushes and focus on the breeding more than the food. (please let me know if this has already been suggested or if you want clarification, I didn't look through the other suggestions as I've been having lots of computer issues and im trying to type this as quickly as i can before my laptop shuts down again)
