I absolutely agree. I, myself, was an MS Paint artist up until 2017-2018? so I believe amateur artists should start up there. My art route looked like this: Paper>MS Paint>FireAlpaca (ableit, I was very shitty on there,)>Procreate I believe good artists can start out on “slightly less advanced” art programs, but as Georgie said, do not immediately rush to art programs that are for artists that have been drawing for years. If you’ve only been drawing for ten minutes, don’t immediately say “WOW ADOBE PHOTOSHOP PRO!!!” And, my own personal tip: doodling on paper is good for you if you want to improve your skill. You cannot believe how many math tests I have that have little dogs doodled on the side. It enables you to draw things quicker.

Oh perfect, I had a niche dream last night the game was normal, but everything's names were replaced with things from the niche dictionary you know, like 'bad wings' and 'purrsnot' well, I clicked on a peaceful bear and woke up crying, choking, and laughing at the same when it was called 'Uncle Creepo Peepo'

honestly I gave up on the squirrels after the first three tries to get them to live, I will probably never get them back. also guinea pigs have never failed to completely demolish wherever they are living to the point where theres just a couple flowers and some trees left. the second I finish their evolutions I delete them, and their evolutions aren't even that much better either

Yeah, I had really bad issues with them in my first save. Turns out they make an excellent addition to a higher grassland. Woodland is possible, but just not as good, so that was my main error. But I believe he fixed some issues. They seem less stupid now and don't starve when an acorn is literally just a few meters away.

I was thinking of the ability for adult nichelings in the tribe being able to pick up babies and carry them, similar to how a lioness or she-wolf would carry its offspring. It's hard to keep your tribe moving when you have a mother sitting by a nest all day in fear of a hawk or waiting for her baby to be old enough to move efficiently. So here's how it would work: - Picking up a baby or child nicheling would take one action point. However, you can continue to hold the baby for several days if you need to keep carrying it, as long as it won't grow into a teenager yet. - Perhaps the nicheling would have reduced speed carrying the baby; for instance, a mother with a speed of 3 carrying a baby would now only be able to move 2 tiles at a time. - Nichelings cannot use their mouth while holding a baby- so a nicheling would not be able to lick another nicheling clean or call for wild nichelings, for instance. - babies would be protected from being picked up by a predator when being carried. Injury to the adult, however, could cause it to drop the baby nicheling, making them vulnerable again. - You can only pick up babies in your tribe/babies you've befriended. - Putting down a held offspring back on the ground would take one action point.

Perhaps while carrying the baby, the adult only has 2 gems to use each day?

A regular tablet works well for drawing as well. I have been using a Samsung tablet with a pen that has a stylus on the end of it. It works pretty well.

Yea I had a gap at the end of third grade when they took my braces off and it was great not to have the metal scratching you 247 and then I got them put back on the same day that the game cattails came out so my mom got me it afterwards because I was a good child!

I'm Worried I'm gonna have to get braces when I'm older. I probably would have them now if my teeth didn't take so long to fall out. I'm in grade 9 and i still have tons of my baby teeth.... I'm not sure if that's good or bad?

PRIDE - Hillshot (Leader), SnowbreakWRATH - CragbeamGREED - - - -GLUTTONY - MildflareLUST - - - - - ENVY - Haze Triumph dies of old age. The tribe finds and takes in a kit. They name her Hope. She is determined and outspoken. Days later, they find a cream-colored she kit and name her Timeless. She is less rough-and-tumble and tries to impress her friends. Hope grows into a teenager first and is taken to the stones. She is assigned to Envy and makes fast friends with Haze. Timeless has her ceremony some time after. She has the option of Envy or Greed, and she chooses Greed. The tribe also takes in a teenaged male named Silent. He is taken to the stones and everyone watches curiously. His options are Lust, Pride, and greed. The female nichelings lean in interested as he says, "Lust." One day, Hope approaches Timeless, upset. "Haze and I can't have kits." "You guys were planning on having kits?" She asks, curiously. "We've liked each other for a while, and now that I'm fully in envy, I was looking forward to it." She throws her head down, sighing. "Hey, at least you've got a bond with someone. That's more than anyone in the tribe can say," she says. One day, a bearyena attacks! Cragbeam goes to fight it with the help of the Envy faction, but it seems she is to be overpowered. Until... a young, strange male comes to her aid! He chases it off, even killing it. "And who in Starfaction do you think you are?" Cragbeam hisses to the teen, who doesn't seem to realize the danger he had faced. "I was just here to help," he said with a shrug. "I'm Lightning." Lightning is taken to the stones. Four light up- Gluttony, Wrath, Pride, and Lust. He chooses Wrath. Silent mates with Timeless, and Cragbeam mates with Lightning. Cragbeam and lightning have a child. They name her Banished, hoping she grows up as tough as they. Silent and Timeless's child is born- a son named Daywalker. A bearyena comes, though, and kills Daywalker in the Lustling den while Wrath is trying to fight it. They kill it before it hurts anyone else, but Timeless gets in a fight with Cragbeam. "You could manage to protect your own kit, but not mine!" She hisses bitterly in the face of Cragbeam- something few nichelings have the courage to do. "You dare call yourself a Wrathling?" "I've protected your hide from being ripped off since you came in this tribe!" Cragbeam hisses out. "How dare you accuse me of not doing my job?" Snarls erupt between the two of them, and the tribe thinks it is going to end in blood when old Hillshot roars, "Enough!" "Timeless, Cragbeam is doing her best. She has been doing this since before you were born, and never has been injured in a fight. what happened was a matter of timing, not negligence." He flattens his ears. "I understand the loss you are feeling, but know your place." He looks at Cragbeam. "And you. Your anger is to be channeled to enemies of the tribe, not upon your own. You are a seasoned warrior- control yourself." Banished comes of age and is taken to the stones. Three glow - Greed, Wrath, and Sloth. She chooses Wrath to be with her parents, smirking at Timeless as she passes her and goes into the Wrath den.

I’ve had braces since 1st grade for reference I was like 8 years old. I still remember the date April 25.

I will know your pain soon, my teeth are so messed up (one is literally SIDEWAYS) that my dentist's only hope is to wait until all my baby teeth fall out, randomly pull out a few of my adult teeth, give me braces and hope to dear god the remaining teeth might just magically fall into place

If your hygiene improves or drops, you might be left with lines when they come off. That's why people say you shouldn't eat too many sweets or go after softdrinks. Wasn't an issue for me, but you might want to keep it in mind. Grinding teeth was an issue, though. While asleep, your teeth might get deep 'scars' from an already damaging habit. In that case, be sure to always keep an eye out for abnormalities, as you'll be much more vulnerable to tooth decay. If you get a headache (they're rare but serious), always take some Ibuprofen or pain medication as soon as possible. Pain relief is much less effective after the onset. To the disgusting part... again, I'm a toothgrinder. It's not just my teeth that were scared, but also the checks. Apply Nivea or something else to your lips at night. If you didn't and your lips are a split mess, cut torn skin off with a scissor. They'll look better, feel better and heal faster. You might want to take up flossing if you ever had a cavity. I have strong teeth, so it wasn't necessary. Still, you're better save than sorry. Don't overdo it though, or try it at all if your gums are sensitive. I know that some doctors recommend it especially in that case, but it was an absolute nightmare and waste of time. 11/10 would not floss again. Aside from that, you might want to read up on different forms of tooth detoriation. It helps if you understand the process and information is readily available. However, getting stuff stuck in your braces is quite uncomfortable, so I doubt you'll slack off on hygiene. Still, getting things stuck isn't that easy to accomplish and it's usually easy to remove. So don't worry about food. Ah - one thing, though. Since someone recommended ice cream. I had headaches rarely, but overall sensitivity is increased. You'll only notice when they come off.... but there were days when I couldn't even drink cold water. You can guess what that means for even colder stuff... so you propably really will want to eat it while you can. It only gets worse over the months and with bigger wires.

yall want art tips? well you're gosh darn getting aRT TIPS 1. this is the opposite of what people are saying but don't be in a rush to use another program than paint. if you look up "ms paint tricks" and watch a few of them you're set. I carried on using paint until I got "meh" levels of good at art and then got firealpaca, which I managed to figure out quite quickly. I tried going to medibang (there are awesome brushes for backgrounds! ) but it didn't have the animation thing and I couldn't be bothered to constantly switch between two programs so I went back to firealpaca, and I would recommend it too since it is basically ms paint but with all the things you wished ms paint had, and it also has a really nice transform tool (select something with the lasso and do ctrl + t) which helps with sketching! but also, you can become overwhelmed in firealpaca if youre a beginner, ive been there, adding so many layers with little edits and such you cant even see the art, and the limits of paint means that wont happen 2. refrences. I swear to god. when drawing something, look up as many refrences as possible. there are some poses that just dont make sense without one (example: try and draw a cat, standing, perfectly facing forwards with no refrence) and some little things that just help generally (if im drawing an animal I dont draw a lot, refrences (especially ones drawn by other artists and not photos (but also have some real life photos)) mean that it will look a lot better in general) like, the exact markings on a fox. 3. try a lot of stuff, I have like 10 art styles and counting the most used one is the pixelated, kinda simple one (all the nicheling fusions are done like this) second most used one is the lineless style (usually for more important things or something) my lineless style where I do a sketch and use the firealpaca pencil tool to then do the whole thing on one layer (usually for hollow knight art??) and my final style where I do lineart with the normal, aliased pen tool and do shading with like a watercolour brush or something (mostly from when I did art in medibang) and I love all of them, and my art would not be the same if I only did one 4. draw a lot?? sometimes when im with my friends I just draw something stupid theyre all talking about and ive done that for ages, it helped me be able to draw really quickly 5. this is a do as I say, not as I do thing but actually pay attention to where the light is coming from in a drawing, my one bad habit is putting shading wherever two things touch but that's just not how it works 6. if you want a tablet, get this £50 wacom one. I dont know what special desing it is or something but it exists and ive had it for a year and a half and it is amazing

as you all know we now have the peacock tail gene which gives us 1 attractiveness. i think that was a great idea and i think it would be good to assign attractiveness to our fur colors. currently all colors excpet for red and yellow have some sort of camoflauge element so red and yellow would be perfect to add on attractiveness!

OK, so what I'm talking about is a new kind of feedback loop. Rotating a position indicator on command lets it act as several new kinds of sensors: Compass / Heading Angular Velocity Angle ...as well as several other things I don't know how to describe yet. And probably more I haven't thought of. It's all in how you wire it. But it's a really cumbersome, slow, huge, wobbly part right now. Adding this talent to the basic directional indicator would be like adding five new parts to the game, not to mention, letting us use the same old part in ways it was awkward to do before, like at 45 degrees. It's not the best thing ever, but you get the idea: The heading is controlled by rotating the gravity direction indicator. It acts like a compass. Knock it off course and it will turn back. Here's a better example: I built the wobbliest racer I could and added a stabilizer. The waypoint direction indicator on right controls the outer pair of engines in traditional fashion. The gravity direction indicator on left controls its own axle to keep itself pointed down. Put another way, it measures how fast your drone is turning, somewhat proportionally even - turn faster and you get longer pulses. This signal controls the inner pair of engines, damping the wobbles. And here's the craziest thing I've done with the idea: Proportional steering! The direction indicator is rigged to turn itself (not the craft -- it turns itself) towards the waypoint. The engine booms are turned by the same signal. So the direction indicator ends up measuring the exact angle between the craft and the waypoint, and pivots the engines a proportional angle, magnified a little to compensate for drift.

You must keep breeding, even if you don't have enough food to feed everyone. No cheating!! This means A) No console. B) You can only start with two nichelings. Of course, B - D apply to sandbox mode. Oh, and also, I didn't just say "keep it to normal settings" because you can deck out your starters as much as you'd like and get rid of anything you want in the world settings.) You can continue to try to get as much nichelings as possible after getting 100 if you so choose. Ages for Niche Cities (Based on life expectancy of the UK and 'Merica): 1 day = 1 year Baby: 2 (age 0 - 2) Child: 10 (age 3 - 12) Teen: 7 (13 - 19; You could do 8 for ages 13-20) Adult: 60 or 59 (19/20 - 80) You may increase if you like, as people live longer than the average 78-80s. (Nichelings aren't humans but...)

It would be really nice if the underwater world would be improved upon. It's such a shame our underwater nichelings are just roaming a mostly barren world. Here are some ideas I have thought about: *Underwater biomes that correspond to the island. *Underwater predators of varying strength. *More underwater prey. *Underwater permanent nests. Here are a few examples of what I'm thinking about: *Warm islands would have oceans with lush, colorful coral reefs with tough shark-like predators and some type of smaller predator, like piranha or electric eel. Several types of hard-to-catch prey items, like fish and the like. *Oceans around cold islands would be more barren with tough orca-like predators and smaller seal-like predators. Prey items would be fewer and far between, but would maybe be easier to catch. *And finally oceans around temperate islands would be somewhere in-between the warm and cold oceans. There would be more rocks and seaweed everywhere instead of coral reefs. I don't have any specific ideas for predators, but a different type of whale or shark predator could probably work or maybe a sea lion or something like that. And then a moderate amount of prey items. *Permanent nest would be scattered similarly to permanent land nests. These are just my suggestions. The oceans could easily be different if other people have better ideas, I just really wish there were more to do under the sea!

I'd like a creative mode where you can alter your nichelings for fun. More genes or altered effects of genes like having the armored body be impervious to leeches, or have the toxic body kill leeches when they attach themselves to that creature. Spiky bodied babies can't be picked up by the bird. More biome types and creatures: Ocean level with octopi and sharks as predators. And underground biome with larger variants of the Stagmoles and worms, blind eyes and big noses would work the best with digging paws. Have tamable creatures help the tribe with enemies. A multiplayer mode where you get to face-off against another player for control of the island. Dodomingos laying eggs you can steal. WINGS SO I CAN MURDER THE STUPID BLUEBIRD FOR STEALING MY BABIES! Tamed Bluebird that acts like a scout, spotting wanderers and predators. That would be so useful in the jungle. A new sleeping pose would be adorable. Instead of closing their eyes, they could lay down and curl up. It could even have defensive purposes like, the spiky body and armored body gets an extra point in defense when they're curled up.
