  4. So I was recently watching Adams Quest and there was there the nichelings Cobra, Viper and Serpent. And I was wondering what if there was more genes (because Poison Fangs technically count) relating to snakes. So the cobra will be first will be the snouts. The spitting fang, based on the spitting cobra would be obtained by having 70 days with a poison effect and poison 50 entities. Though having different nichelings with poison effect that have the exact same lifespan won't count. The effects would be +1 poison resistance, +2 smelling and +1 venomous spitting. The effect venomous spitting would be the first ranged effect which will allow a nicheling to inflict the poison status to a target. Next will be the hooded snout which is the most iconic feature of a cobra. The hooded snout would be unlocked by using strong voice and receiving attacks 30 times. The effects would be +2 smelling and +1 distasteful appearance. Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer.

  6. This made me want to go back to my really old Warriors tribe. Weird how I stopped on exactly day 100, it wasn't on purpose. Four melanistic creatures, one albino. The leader is Duckstar, who I have a screenshot of from when he was a little baby wanderer found in a river! The deputy is Juniperwillow, the white peacock whose turns have been used. (I accidentally typed that as sued first. His turns were sued??) and the family tree (OMG DEERSTAR IS STILL HERE??) okay gotta play with them now heh (but not post it because I don't feel like it)

  9. I for some reason think it would be really nice if you could occasionally find a ramfox pup and take it in after it's pack is dead. You would be able to breed with it and have it hunt food for you. The genes I think it would give will be listed below. -Ram horns -Fox ears (3+hearing, just for looks) -Normal eyesight -Fox jaw (1+strength, 2+smelling) -Fluffy body (3+cold resistence, 1+speed, 1+strength) -Hunting claws (1+speed, 1+strength) -Normal hindlegs -Fluffy tail -White fur -Black eyes -Gray or white horns -White pattern -No pattern -Random pattern density and size -Normal blood clotting -High or normal fertility -Some random immunity genes? Or possibly one unique to the ramfoxes known as ramfox immunity? Oh well. Just felt like putting this idea out here.

  10. Alright, so I made this challenge up at school. I based it off of how real animals usually act. There is technically more than one way to do this challenge, you can do it any way you want as long as it's in the rules. SO, Rules 1. Females only choose the strongest/prettiest males: Most female animals choose the strongest male for the best genetics for their offspring, and sometimes for protection of predators attack them or their children. Animals like peacocks choose the flashiest males most of the time, which I don't really know the purpose of. You could choose which genes are attractive but things like Peacock Tail will automatically make a creature attractive, and something like Derp Snout will severely lower a male's chances. 2. Any sick babies get killed: Animals in real life usually abandon and sometimes eat their sick children because they wont survive, and leaves her other, healthy offspring vulnerable to becoming ill, so she gets rid of it. Basically, if you get a sick child, kill them somehow. 3. No creature mates for life: You could have them pair up for 10 days or something, representing a breeding season like some birds do. Even then, no animal is truly monogamous, and birds will literally cheat on eachother. It's actually kind of funny. 4. A female's last offspring must have aged up to a teen(or an adult for extra challenge) for her to have another one. Unless it dies. 5. Males can compete with eachother: The winner gets to mate with the female, you can just roll a random generator for this. 6. If you want, any females that live in groups can try to eliminate the other children. Meerkats will do this, because they live in such big groups, less children means more attention for theirs. That's all the rules I could come up with for now, but i'll probably update it later tho.

  11. Sometimes, although rarely, a god- this one, from a different pantheon, who is merely known as Ista to your nichelings- blesses a child with a godly power, showing you how her pantheon was killed in a terrible war. Ista explains how, that once 2 Blessed are born, those two alone must travel to a random island, away from the main tribe. Without these Blessed, the island that they would travel to would crumble under their paws, and all that your tribe would die a terrible death. -- https://perchance.org/niche-god This generator must be rolled for every nicheling born. -- -Tribe cannot move unless 2 Blessed have been born -Unlock all genes -Set food to 50 and age to 26. -No nesting material can be collected, you must only use permanent nests unless it has been 20 turns since you last found one. -Blessed are alphas, all other nichelings are omegas. -Blessed become gods at their death. -- For each Blessed, roll a 1-1000 random number generator and match it to https://www.roleplayingtips.com/tools/1000-npc-traits/ 3 times.

  12. Seriously! Why has no one suggested this before? The first one appears on random grass tiles when it rains. Appears in grassland and swamp biomes. Is safe to collect. Gives one food. The second ones appear in groups of one to three when it rains. Can be found everywhere exept for savannah and snow biomes. They spawn around trees. They are safe to collect and give one food each. Third one can only be found in jungle and swamp biomes. Like all mushrooms, these appears when it rains. As you can propably guess by it's apperance, it's poisonous. It gives two food. Fourth species glows in the dark. Can only be found in svamps and jungles (and caves, if those ever become a thing). They appear in groups from two to five when it rains. Collecting them gives you poison effect for a day and makes you stinky. They give 1 food each.

  13. Okay, so, I got an idea for triplets being possible! Soooo, people and animals usually can die of bleeding out during birth or other complications, right? So what if a female in like the last 5 days of her life with 6/6 fertility had a chance to give birth to triplets, but she would die afterwards! I know it could suck for various reasons, but not every birth can be clean cut and have the mother live. I think instead of the mother still being there, the third baby would be in her spot. I don't know, I think a possibility of triplets would be sooo cool! Edit: So here's another thing: If the female has been bred 3 or more times before the last 5 days, she should have a chance to live. The higher amount of previous children she has, the more she should be able to survive. I say this because it was proven after a few kids women have easier time giving birth and not having complications. (At least in the old days.) As a side note, heres an addon idea; Any sickly female from any breeding age with 6/6 fertility has the chance to give birth to triplets, because of her weak immunitites she is more susceptible to having birth complications.

  14. In this game, we create a fanclan together. To play, each new response will denote something about the fanclan, with me each turn stating the clan's name and territory. The next response would then be how they name their kits-apprentices-leaders. The response after that is some common prefixes and suffixes The next few responses build the roles. The next few responses (multiple posts) gives cats to the roles. The last few responses (multiple posts) build culture and give fun facts. Example Below: FawnClan. This clan lives in a large forest, and their camp is located in a meadow of thick grass. The suffix for kits is -spot. Apprentices still use -paw. Leaders use -antler. (example: Lilacspot, Lilacpaw, Lilacpelt, Lilacantler) Some common prefixes include Red- (for light brown or reddish brown cats) and Sika- (for dark brown or black cats), while some common suffixes include -bark (for warriors who are skilled at scouting) and -fang (for warriors who are average at all skills, but might excel in hunting or fighting) FawnClan, compared to the other local clans, have two extra roles- Scouts and Guards. Guards act as the fighting counterpart to the Scout, who looks for potential threats in the territory. ECT ------- The Crown represents the camp. The Ring represents features of interest (EG: WebClan's Cave) ------- First 4 Clans/Round 1: WebClan. This clan lives near a large cave, and their camp is beside the entrance. CinderClan. This clan lives on the remains of a twoleg town near a volcano. FernClan - A large clan that spans most of the southern coast. Contains a rainforest in their territory. DroughtClan - A small clan that is nearest to CinderClan. They often experience long droughts, hence the name. ------- Round 2: WareClan - This clan lives in a large, abandoned warehouse. They often set traps. StationClan - This clan lives mostly above ground, despite the name. They live in a bus station, and not a train station. GreenhouseClan - This clan lives inside a greenhouse, beside a small wooded area. They are terrified of the woods. SlaughterClan - This clan lives in an old Slaughterhouse in the woods. They smell of blood constantly.

You would need digging ability to collect them. They would grow like this: 1st day: Just top of the carroot is shown (You can collect it, but you get just 1 nesting material) -> 2nd day: Carroot is ready to be picked up! It gives 3 food and 1 nesting material. There's a hole for a new carroot. New one starts to grow when its raining. Adult animals can hold carroots in their mouths and put them down. When they put them on different places, more carroots will grow around them. They can't put them in their growing hole again. If you pick carroot in its first day (when it isn't ready) it will never grow up (gives just 1 nesting material). I haven't decided, which snouts could pick carroots. Any ideas? Facts/ideas about it: •Rabbils like them •You can stand on them without breaking them •Roots appear under it after harvesting them Do you have any ideas? Should something be different? I'll add some of the good ideas of yours to the Facts/ideas. Thanks to: Fishyfishyfishy500 for the re-plasing and planting new carroots - idea. Thanks to Dazenith for the idea, that you would need digging ability to collect carroots.

  32. In the Eastern Kingdom, Queen Eliza finds herself going into labor. She sends word for Derek March to be by her side for the delivery in fear of what her King Consort William may do to the child upon its birth. William looks to the Noble who has entered the delivery room. "Derek. I truly don't think your presence is necessary for this." Derek gives him an empty smile. "William, you must forget that my wife has just had our child as well, and I assisted her through the whole birth. Same goes for the Emily Knox's birth, she needed someone will experience to help her deliver. Do you not wish the best for your wife, your majesty?" William simply glares, Eliza screams out in pain to remind the two of the matter at hand. After a long, long night. Eliza has her child. Eliza holds the new child closely to her, Derek by her side. "Well??" William demands. "What is it?" Eliza looks up at him, in her eyes is a strength that she has never shown before. "It is a girl, William. A daughter. She does not have the Royal Symbol." William tilts his head to her and chuckles lightly. "Oh? And is this good news to you Eliza, that you have failed at your only purpose? I have heard rumors of the pregnancy of King Henry's mistress, if she has had a son, even illegitimate as he would be, do you not think that he would be a preference for this throne?" Eliza holds her gaze on him, a burning passion blazes before her that almost makes him step back. "No harm will come to me or this child. Because as an illegitimate Princess, she is now engaged to the Royal Heir of the Southern Kingdom. And William, I know you and your followers would not dare harm a Queen." William looks back at her in horror, with the Queen of the South on her side, creating the first Royal Alliance in the New Kingdoms, Eliza has now shifted the balance of power. _________________________________________________________________________________________________ In the Western Kingdom, King James has called a meeting with the Nobles. Their wives have stayed home to care for their children, so only Marcus Kent and John Pents have attended. The King stands on the higher ground in show of his status, his wife Amy by his side. He looks to his Nobles with a wide smile on his face. "My people!" James calls out. "I have fantastic news, my wife, Amy, is finally with child!" Marcus and John look at each other in shock. Rumors had begun to spread that the Queen was barren, and Marcus's wife, Anya, had begun preparing to send a letter to the North asking for military assistance in overthrowing their weak King and childless Queen. John is overjoyed, no longer is there any reason to overthrow King James. Even if the child is not the next Heir, the couple is so young they will be able to produce many, many children in their lifetime. "Long live the King!" John shouts out. Marcus, still a little dazed by the events, takes a quick and shaky breath and smiles, shouting as well. "Long live the King!" He must return home and tell his wife, for if those letters are ever found, the two will be hung for treason against the Crown. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ "So?" Queen Consort Catherine Valois asks NobleWoman Wendy Medici. "I have horrible news your majesty, Isobelle has had a son. He has the Royal Symbol. Both Henry and Isobelle approached my husband. Isobelle wants our help sneaking her onto a merchant ship to the South, so she and her son can live safely as far away from the Northern Kingdom as possible." Catherine is surprised by this, she thought for sure Isobelle would be overjoyed to be in such high favor of the King now, he will probably take her as his official mistress. "And the King? What did he ask you for?" Wendy looks solemnly at her Queen, Catherine has paid her a high price to be her spy over these past months, and in that time she has come to care for her "He asked for our family's support in dethroning you, and naming his new son as the next Heir." Catherine gasps, nearly collapsing in shock. "In times before I have shipped away many women who have held Henry's child. I hear the rumors. That I slaughter the babies like a wolf in the night. But none of its true, I have never killed the children, they all live on safely, far away from the crown. But this...." Her breath falters and shakes, she looks first to young Hope, sleeping soundly in her nest, then back to Wendy, with a new burning sadness and anger in her eyes. "Give her the passage on the trade ship. Get me the exact time of its departure and make sure there are no important items or persons on board." She whispers faintly, almost to herself. "This child must die." ___________________________________________________________________________________________ "I have just received a letter." King Consort Gideon states as he approaches Queen Mary. She is sitting next to her son Prince John, rocking him gently as he sleeps. She looks up to her mate and gently places the child back into the nest. She reaches for the letter and turns it to the back. "This is Queen Eliza's Royal Seal." She quickly opens the letter, skimming the page, the corner of her mouth begins to stretch to a smile and by the time she has finished the letter she practically jumps for joy. "Queen Eliza has had an illegitimate daughter. Due to threats from the King Consort and her Nobles, she thinks forging a blood alliance between our Kingdoms is a fantastic idea, and with such she has agreed to the arranged marriage between her new daughter, Marie, and our son John." Gideon smiles as well, though for just a second it fades when he looks to his son. "I hope they love each other." Mary smiles knowingly at him. "Love is a funny, funny thing. I believe if we raise our son to become a good man, he will be easy to love." Gideon sits beside her, smiling down at their child. "And I hope that Princess Marie is raised the same way." Mary pauses a second, looking to her mate. "Well, about that," Gideon turns to her, confused. "Upon the birth of Eliza's next child, Princess Marie will be sent to our castle to assure her safety, and she will be raised by us." _______________________________________________________________________________________ "I can't thank the two of you enough for this" Isobelle is in tears, holding her sleeping son close to her. The Medici's look at her, stone faced but feigning a smile. "We wish you a safe journey to the South. I must ask, does your husband know of your departure?" Isobelle sighs. "He and I were married in name and son only. He loved whoever he wished, and knew I was loyal to the King. But me becoming pregnant with the King's child was not something he could accept. He took my son, Adam, and moved to the farthest end of the Kingdom. I went to him to beg for as many of the funds he could spare, but he refused. He knew the King would blame him for my departure and cut off all of his funds, he must save every penny he has so Adam may live a good life, and I understand that." Her voice shakes slightly. "Adam is still my son, and it pains me so much to leave him behind, but he is safe here." Wendy looks upon the little boy, knowing his true fate once they set sail. "Your new child, have you named him?" Isobelle smiles through her tears. "Yes, Robert Tigre." Charles is taken aback. "You have not given him the Kings name?" "No. He will never know the truth of his father. He will grow up in the South believing he is simply just a child I had out of wedlock, and we left home to start over, technically not a lie, but still so far from reality I don't think its the truth." The waves splash against the shore as the boat pulls into the harbor. Crew begins to unload the merchandise and load on the next shipment. There are far fewer crates going on board then there are coming off. Isobelle looks to Charles in confusion. "Is this all that you're loading up?" Charles smiles. "Yes, we made sure that the load was lighter on this shipment, we want you two to have space to move about the storage cabin." Isobelle thanks them again, and begins to carry her son onto her ship. "Oh! one last thing." Wendy calls to her. Isobelle stops and looks back. "Does Queen Mary know you're coming? I'd hate for you to be taken as a spy." Isobelle smiles at her. "Don't worry! Everything is taken care of!" She and her child board the ship, unknowing of what is in store for them. ________________________________________________________________________ To Be Continued.

  34. As of now there are two different game types, Story or Sandbox mode. I feel a feature to be able to create your starting male and female would bring a nice personal touch to this game. With this feature you would be able to add your own characters, creatures that are made to survive better in the environment you choose or just to go wild with creating what ever you want! This would also make it easier to start your game on the harder islands as most of the time the starter randomized creatures don't suit the island type you have chosen and it makes it almost impossible to survive for too long on these islands. It would also be really fun to explore some of the rarer genes that take a long time to gain access to on the gene menu while playing. I know this would make this game even better and more fun to play than it already is. Please vote, I really think it will be a lot of fun to play using our own creations!

  35. Alright, I'm finally back to it! This is an idea that I've kinda mentioned around in other posts, but I think that it's finally time to make it its own post. Many people are in support of the popular heterochromia gene, but I think it would be a waste to have a gene slot created only for heterochromia. This is where my idea comes in, the gene slot for heterochromia would have several other alleles that I'm about to propose as well. I would say that all of these genes would normally not be accessible through the mutation menu, but lemme know what you guys think. First, the most dominant allele would be the "Normal Eye Color" allele. It's exactly what it sounds like, the creature will present what it's normal eye color would be. For example, if a creature has a black eye color allele and a blue eye color allele, the creature will present the black eye color because the black eye color allele is more dominant than the blue eye color allele. This is the only allele I think you would be able to find in the mutation menu similar to no melanism and no albinism, and it would automatically be unlocked. After the standard allele, there would be the "More Melanin" and "Less Melanin" alleles. These are pretty standard and would either make the normally presented eye color darker or lighter respectively. Having blue eyes and the "Less Melanin" allele could create gray eyes for those who want that. The next most dominant would be the "Mixed Eye Color" allele. The primary inspiration for this allele is from hazel eyes which are generally considered a mix between brown and green. With this allele present, the nicheling will display the primary eye color alleles with incomplete dominance which basically just means that the two will present mixed. If a creature is homozygous for their primary eye color, then this allele would not present any differently than if the creature had the "Normal Eye Color" allele. (Side note: I wasn’t sure if the “More Melanin” allele was necessary seeing as it can also be achieved through having the “Mixed Eye Color” allele and a black eye color allele. Lemme know if you think I should keep it as two ways to get the same outcome or if there’s anyway you think I could differentiate them.) Next would be the heterochromia alleles. I would like to propose both "Dominant Heterochromia" and "Recessive Heterochromia" alleles where the "Dominant Heterochromia" would have the dominant eye color on the right and the recessive eye color on the left and the "Recessive Heterochromia" would be vice versa. The only reason for the two different alleles would just to have more controllable variability for heterochromia. Finally, there would be the speckled eye color alleles. Like heterochromia, I propose two alleles for variability: "Dominant Specs" and "Recessive Specs". "Dominant Specs" would be the dominant eye color with recessive specs, and "Recessive Specs" would be the recessive eye color with dominant specs. So the dominance order would be Normal Eye Color > More Melanin > Less Melanin > Mixed Eye Color > Dominant Heterochromia > Recessive Heterochromia > Dominant Specs > Recessive Specs I might make concept art soon, so if you have any ideas for how you think these alleles should look in the genotype, lemme know! Here are posts that these alleles were inspired by:

  36. Ideas! I don't know if this would make getting new/rare genetics too easy, but what if there where pregnant females wanderers? Maybe they would collect their own grasses, start their own tribe type thing. Maybe if they where super strong they could throw my female out of her nest if she was too far from others. Wandering nichelings could decide their mates, travel together, attack together, hunt collect and raise wandering children Any male from my tribe can mate with any wandering female he finds, visa versa for wandering males, without having to invite them in. What if a wanderer sized up a tribal nicheling based on things like attractiveness, strength, and similar/better genes? Don't know how hard this would be to throw in there but I really like the idea. I think the "Offer 5 food" thing is very easy- perhaps some nichelings know they're better off, and need more food. Maybe some can be brought in when breed with- staying for their new family. Some nichelings that cannot collect may know their place and require less food, if any at all.

  38. The anemone is known as the animal that clown fish live with, but what if we could add this to the game. The sea anemone body would be unlocked by receiving 30 attacks or collecting from poison berry bushes 50 times and swimming 50 times. The effects would be +2 poisonous, +1 scentless and +1 distasteful appearance. The tips of the anemone body would look a lot like toxic body colouration. Another thing which I don't think should be an effect would be a symbiosis with clownkoi, and it would be worth the time for those who have an aquatic play style. How it would work would be a new update would have Razoranha actually hunt down things like clownkoi. So with an anemone body the clownkoi would be safe and provides protection against leeches. Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer.

  39. I've decided that every 10 gene idea will be something different than the good old fashion animals. So thanks to a friend of mine, he gave me this idea. The idea of scavenge fangs, this would be obtained by killing 50 prey items (e.g. Rabbils) and cracking 50 times (doesn't have to be bones). The effects would be +3 smelling (makes sense), +2 scavenge, which will be mentioned later and +1 cracking (if a scavenger couldn't crack bones it really doesn't do it's job that well). This could mean things like cracker jaw and nimble finger now could help with something new. Though first I should explain how cracking will help, when any animal dies (lifespan or hunted) they would leave skeletons, which is good because tons of people want this idea of scavenging and bones. So scavenging would increase the amount of food collected from skeletons, whilst cracking of course breaks through the bone. Next would be the scavenge paw, which would be scavenging 50 times, the effects would be +2 scavenge, +2 collecting and +1 cracking. Now the next gene would be the bone body, which would be obtained by receiving 30 attacks and scavenging 30 times. The effects will be +1 defence, +1 scavenge and +1 bone collecting. The effect bone collecting will alloy a nicheling to collect extra bones to add defence. Though the way to nerve this is that the bones will only last 3 days or if a predator attacks the said nicheling. Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer.

  43. These genes are what allow nichelings to move, see, and interact at night. Ladies, gentlemen, and everyone in between, let me introduce you, Echolocation head Bat ears Night-seeing eyes These are Bat ears. Bat ears allow a nicheling to hear 4 around them, but give no heat resistance(like bog ears do). theyre about the same size as big ears, and are obtainable after "squealing" 25 times (squealing will be explained in the Echolocation head) mostly cosmetic, but still cool. This is Echolocation head. It looks simialar to a bat's head, and when sitting in a high position (like calling) you can make a squealing noise that allows everything within 3 tiles to become outlined with green, yellow or red (much like smelling/hearing, except it is seen on seeing, so everything around is also in color.) The affect lasts until said nicheling moves from its spot. The nose also has 2 smelling, 1 damage, and distasteful appearance. they are unlocked by squealing 50 times. These are Night-seeing eyes. They make a nicheling nocturnal, allowing them to move at night. If your tribe doesnt have this gene present, nights pass normally. IF so, the nights stop long enough for a nicheling with these eyes to move normally. (however, you cant move them during the day.) The gene also makes the eyes look a bit demonic, which can be fun if your going from a story perspective. The nichelings also only move during night if banished, and give birth by the time day comes. the eyes give a nicheling 1 normal sight, and 2 night vision. seeing and smelling apply the same at night. How does the night work? Any animal that would normally move during the day, would stay still at night. Any animal that would move during the night, move according to your nichelings moves. (example, a bunnil would stay still, while a bearyena would move twice, then sleep.) hope you like it! incase you couldnt tell, i REALLY WANT A NIGHT MODE!! its been an idea since the water update

  45. So many mammals like in caves and burrows, and I think they would make the game a lot more interesting. They would be small (2-5 spaces) and would give warmth in the cold islands. Maybe if it snows the animals inside would get snowed in and have to use a turn digging out. Maybe animals with the digging ability can build a 3 wide triangle underneath certain types of trees. Also the caves can serve as a way to protect babies from things like bearyeenas. If a nicheling stands in the entryway, then the predators cannot get inside to hurt the babies. There could also be underwater caves, but I'm not sure how that would help without a predator. A button in the bottom right corner could be added to turn on "x-ray" mode which would allow you to see inside caves that are in your tribe's sight. Edit: I just realized there is a post that was suggesting a cave island, and I was not trying to copy them. I was just suggesting adding caves to already existing islands
