  11. The Beetle Leg (shown here on a red/yellow fur nicheling with white mask) provides 1+ Climbing (letting non-winged nichelings into treetops), +1 Distasteful Appearance and +1 Collecting. It is usually found on Whale Island, Burning Savannah and on Rouge Males. Dragonfish Eyes (shown first on a white nicheling with orange eyes, then on a black nicheling with blue eyes and pink pattern) provide +1 Eyesight and +2 Stealth- the Stealth is due to the 'pads' next to the nicheling's eyes (the pads themselves are the colour of the nichelings eyes), which are bio-luminescent in a colour which predators cannot see, which muffles the outline of nichelings with this gene. The gene can only be unlocked by travelling to the jungle with 3 gilled nichelings.

  15. My advice as bug-captureing veteran: Get a clear jar/glass, so you can see the moth inside so you know where it is at all times so you don't hurt it. Its actually not that hard, just walk up and gently put the cup or jar on top of it. Make sure the mouth of the jar does not touch the bug, but goes around it. Then oooooh so slowly and gently get a piece of paper and sliiiiiide it under the cup/jar. life the paper that is covering the mouth of the jar and the jar up together, and then tip the jar so the bottom of the jar is tilted upwards. Bugs always like to climb UP, so the moth will most likely climb to the bottom of the jar that is slightly tilted up. This is good because then it is away from the mouth of the jar, allowing you to put a lid on, of course with breathing holes on top. Keep in mind you normally wouldn't want to keep a moth in just a jar, it is a good temporary housing solution, but NOT a good permanent one. Once you have it secure in the jar/glass, asses its health. Whats wrong with its wings? Are they deformed? torn? folded? After you figure that out, start googling like crazy. Find out what kind of moth it is, what it eats, ect. That'll help you care for it. Post some pictures of the moth if you can!

  17. Which cat will get made into a soft plush Gray Wing was born in the ancient Tribe with his brother Clear Sky. He chose to stay behind on a quest to find a new home, but eventually joined to find his younger brother Jagged Peak. In the the new territories, he settled in the moorland, and eventually became leader of the group when Tall Shadow stepped down. Gray Wing raised Thunder, Clear Sky's son, and Turtle Tail's kits, and became a father figure to many cats. He expertly drawn out battle plans against One Eye and Slash. Slate later gave birth to his own kits, Black Ear, Silver Stripe, and White Tail. He renamed the groups into Clans and named WindClan and SkyClan after their leaders. Shortly after, Gray Wing passed away due to his asthma, and continued to watch over his family and Clanmates, loved by so many. - the wiki desc for him

  18. I'll go first! World- By mixing Stinky Fruit and Healing Fruit, a nicheling can create a mixture that has effects eerily similar to alcohol Nichelings can generally cannot become addicted to substances unless they consume too much of the substance- this is why creatures have to lick the juice off nichelings who feed on Stinky Fruit Nichelings- Tanu has lots of scars in generally hard to scar places; he says it's the fact he's albino that did it, but who knows?

  19. I wanted a creature that has sheep wool, so what better combination of animals than Wolf + Sheep? This creature has no name yet, so please suggest some (I'll call it a Wolf-Sheep for now) Appearance: Wolf snout, sheep eyes but on front of face, sheep ears, sheep wool (body), wolf tail, front legs have paws, back have hooves. Regular version has a gray color palette, while Arctic versions are white. Behavior: Spawns in groups of 3-5, and very rarely in groups of 2 or less. Attacks on sight, but if in groups of 2 or less, they will flee. Eats/attacks Rabbils, Bearyenas (If it's in a group of 2 or less, it will only attack babies/teens), Rogue Males, wanderers, Arctic Ramfoxes, Balance Bears (Only if it's in a group of 5) (maybe?), and your very own creatures. If there's 2 or less of them, they will only attack Rabbils and Baby Nichelings (including wanderer ones!). I'm not sure if they would move every turn you make (like Rabbils) or when the day passes (like Bearyenas). Habitats/Islands they live on:. Normal Version: Peaceful Meadow(?), Grass Adventure, First Snow, Grass Mingle, Summer Mountains, Deadly Hills Arctic Version: First Snow, Summer Mountains, Long Winter, Frost Lands Stats: 2 Speed 2 Attack 3 Smelling 2 Hearing 2 Sight 3 Cold Resistance Lifespan: 20 Days Drops: 15 Food Possible feature for this creature: Hybridization! Occasionally, in a pack of 2 or more Wolf-Sheep, a pup/lamb (plamb? Lup?) will spawn with them. If all of its pack members are killed off, the baby can be invited into the tribe like a baby Bearyena. Once the Wolf-Sheep grows up, they can be bred with (they're always male). The Wolf-Sheep would act like a Friendly Bearyena in terms of breeding. However, the Friendly Wolf-Sheep would stay close to the tribe, and if a female breeds with him, he will follow her (if a different female breeds with him afterwards, he will follow her instead) (If his mate dies, he'll go back to simply staying close to the tribe). If bred with, the following genes can be obtained (all unlocked in mutation menu by inviting a creature with it active into your tribe): Woolly Body: +2 Cold Resistance -2 Heat Resistance +2 Defense Woolly Body would look, well, woolly. It insulates pretty well, so it's good against the cold, and since there's so much wool in between an attacker and the skin, it would somewhat protect the creature from attacks. Wolf-Sheep Paw: +either 1 or 2 Speed Wolf-Sheep Hind-legs/Hooves: +2 Speed +1 Swimming +1 Strength Wolf-Sheep Snout: +2 Strength +3 Smelling +1 Fishing Basically Big Snout with sheep nostrils and tiny fangs to bite with. Wolf-Sheep Ears: +2 Hearing Wow, what a surprise! Another cosmetic ear gene! (Picture above) And last but not least, the Woolly Tail: +2 Cold Resistance -1 Heat Resistance (Another picture is included in the Woolly Body picture) Combining all the Wolf-Sheep genes, they make up these stats: 4 Cold Resistance -3 Heat Resistance 2 Defense 3 Strength 3/5 Speed (depending on how much speed paws give) 1 Swimming 3 Smelling 1 Fishing I spent an hour trying to figure this creature out and another hour drawing its pictures so it better get some votes

  39. A tattered hunk of driftwood washes upon the shore of a small island. Upon it lays several unconscious and soaked creatures. The wood catches on the sand of the beach and doesn't drift back out with the tide. One of the creatures coughs awake, spitting sea water from its lungs. It quickly jumps off the wood and grabs a hold of a small child by the scruff, carrying them onto the sand, and placing a paw on the youngling's chest, pumping out the water. It gasps to back to life, gagging up the remaining sea. It whispers in a raspy voice. "D...Derek?" Derek smiles to Princess Maria for just a moment before turning his attention to the other two creatures on the wood. They both have been moved onto the beach. Derek watches as the older creature tries to push life back into the child. He rushes over to aid her. "Please we have to save him, he's my son. I did this for him!" She cries, desperately trying to revive him. Derek moves her aside and gives it a go. All hope seems lost until the child kicks back to life. The woman wails and holds him close, quickly drying him off. They all take some time to regain their energy and take in the reality of their situation, no one saying a word. The children settle down and sleep beside their respective guardians. Finally, Derek looks to the woman. "What's your name?" She smiles at him slightly. "My name is Isobelle Tigre. And this is my son, Robert..." She pauses on the child's last name. Derek tilts his head, quickly understanding the situation. "He is not from your family, is he? His father holds a different house." Isobelle weighs this situation for a moment, stuttering slightly as she confesses. "We all may die here. And we all may die here because of me. My son, he is the child of King Henry Valois. Obviously, I am no Queen Catherine. But my child has the royal symbol, and as a threat to her throne, instead of giving us safe passage far away, she clearly condemned us to death." A tear rolls down her cheek. She looks to Derek. "I am sorry that I caused you this fate, may I ask who are you? And why you were on that trade ship?" "I fear we may be at a crossroad on who lies at fault for this shipwreck. I am Derek March, and it was my job to accompany young Princess Marie to her future husband and King in the Southern Kingdom. It was my assumption the ship was destroyed by the King Consort of the Eastern Kingdom in order to prevent Queen Eliza from being under the Blood Alliance of Queen Mary Stuart. I suppose we are lucky to be of such high importance, perhaps Mary will send ships to come look for us." A sudden harsh breeze blows a cluster of sand into his face and he winces slightly. Isobelle looks at the large gash on Derek's eye. "We need to do something for that, if it becomes infected you could lose your vision in that eye." Derek sighs and shakes his head. "There's not enough light for that now. And we need to rest. In the morning we will explain the situation to the children, and try to make the most of this island. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ "Don't do this." Queen Eliza demands, backing away from her subjects. The Knox family men have surrounded her, as has her husband King Consort William. "Eliza. Bring me our son immediately, and no harm will come to you. We don't want to take this throne with violence, but we will if you make us." William spits with a venomous smile. Eliza glares back at him. "No harm will come to me regardless. You are but one Noble family, the March's wish to keep me in power and as does my father, the King. When he hears of this he will send reinforcements as quickly as possible. He will hear of your treachery. And he will hear of the murder of my daughter." Eliza growls back. Snapping her teeth at William. He stutters for a moment, losing his harsh composure. "M...murder? You truly think I killed my daughter? My flesh and blood? Her death was tragic and I would do anything to bring her back. It is you who turned her into a weapon against us. I am tired of being nothing but a consort to you in a loveless marriage. I want the power. I want the crown. With my son so young, I will take charge as regent until he is ready, and you will stay where a woman belongs, a mother raising a child." Eliza shakes her head and scoffs, laughing in a low and condescending tone. "You think they will let me live William? The second I am removed from the throne, I will be executed. Look at them William, look in their eyes, do you see mercy?" She stares at him with desperation, hoping he will see the light. He looks to John Knox and his son Charles, then back to his wife. In a calm breath he responds. "So be it." He turns to the Knox family, who look to him expectantly. "Not yet. She's right, we need more support. Allow absolutely no trade ships to enter or leave this harbor without our blessing. No word is to get to her father about this." They walk away, leaving the Queen in tears as she rushes to the March house to protect herself and her son. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Several Months Pass, many children have been sent to their new homes in their arranged marriages. In the Northern Kingdom, King Henry grows old and weak. Queen Catherine is due any day with their final child. She does not worry about the gender of the child, only the royal status. The Medici family is loyal to her and her bank account, and the Tigre family has left to pursue the art of trade. With the Medici family now being the only Noble family, Catherine knows she will be accepted as Regent until her newest child is old enough, praying they have the Royal Symbol. She sits atop her nest with Princess Hope at her side. She sighs, knowing her child's fate is sealed. Today she received a letter from the East in response to her own, where she states that if Prince Alaric takes Princess Hope as his bride, uniting their Kingdoms, they will send reinforcements to assist in the dethroning of Queen Eliza. The response from an overjoyed King Consort William was an eager acceptance of the proposal, and that the young Princess should be sent over on the same ship as the reinforcements. She suddenly feels her first contraction, yelping out in pain. Hope awakens and sees what's happening. "I'll go get Wendy! Mother, your baby is coming!" She takes off down the Castle halls, retrieving Wendy Medici. King Henry limps into the room as well. Not only growing with old age, Henry has been succumbing to the effects of the poison Catherine has mixed into his food each night. With the other Noble family being gone, she could have just killed him outright, but she wishes to spare her daughter the pain of knowing her mother was capable of killing her own father. She cries out again, and over the course of the night, the final child of King Henry Valois is born. "Oh....It's...a girl.." Princess Hope says with a painfully obvious tone of disappointment. Catherine ignores her, eagerly searching the child over. She gasps in shock and cries with joy. "The Symbol! She has the Symbol." She looks to all the concerned faces in the room, including that of Wendy Medici. "Behold the next Queen." Wendy nods, as if given a cue, and walks out of the room. Come morning, King Henry will be dead, and she, her husband, and Princess Hope will board a ship on route to the East. Where Queen Eliza Candor will be dethroned. ___________________________________________________________________________ That's all for now, sorry for such a short update again. It was just very frustrating to have to rewrite so much of the story that I had already written, and it's also hard to find time with my work schedule. Hopefully will have the time and energy to make a very large update soon, especially with the drastic shifts of power that are about to come.
