Dear Drone Engineers, We just released the new Campaign Update on the preview branch and we need your help to test the game, report bugs and give us feedback about the new campaign mode, so we can improve it and fix all critical bugs before the patch goes live for everyone. Keep in mind that this preview build is still a work in progress. Back up your save files before downloading the preview branch! We implemented a mechanism that extracts all drones from your previous saves and adds them to the new global drone list used in the creative and competitive mode. So you should find your drones there if everything works out! Here is how you can get the preview build on steam: – Open your Steam library– Right click on Nimbatus in the Steam library– Select Properties / Beta– Select the Beta tab – Enter imadeabackup as password to unlock the preview branch– Select Preview_0.7.0 from the drop down – Restart steam in case the game does not update automatically or you can't see the preview branch Patchnotes New Features Split the game into 3 different modes: Competitive, Campaign and Creative New Campaign Mode with new progression system, different captains, travel events, new locations and rewards New Creative Mode with different settings to change the gameplay First version of drone skins, which can be applied to basic parts (more to come in the future) New shared drone list for creative and competitive mode Added in-place replace functionality for drone parts (hold alt when dragging item over another) Added multiple gravity and air resistance modes to the test drive Added Kickstarter backers to the credits Added planet names from Kickstarter backers to the game Drone Part Changes: Spikes now cause damage on impact rather than continuous damage on contact There is now only one resource tank which can hold all resources We increased the rate plasma and cryo ammunition change the temperature of enemies Drills now only cause damage while they are activated Particle weapons now heat up or cool down enemies faster than other weapon types Reworks: You can now access the drone hangar directly from the map without having to travel to a location Most missions now have different difficulty levels We balanced the health of the enemies to match the difficulty level of the new campaign mode Enemies now target you if you attack them, even if you are out of range Snake damage changed from 100 to 180. I made another similar to the thread above, as I realised I'm probably going to end up being asked about LGBTQ+ too. --- What are 'transtrenders'? Transtrender is a slur against trans people. It is often used by meddies to say that trans people who do not complete surgery are not 'really trans'. Trendercore is the opposite of transtrender, as trendercore says that any person who identifies as another gender than your assigned sex is trans. 'You do not need dysphoria to be trans. it has been proven that you do not need dysphoria to be trans, and the definition of transgender says nothing about dysphoria, only identifying as a gender the than the one you were assigned.' -Trendercore, by 'theadventurelinetm'. What do the suffixes mean? sexual = desiring sexual interaction romantic = desiring romantic interaction alterous = desiring interaction that is neither 100% platonic or 100% romantic, but is rather somewhere in between (affectionate speech, physical affection, doing things together exclusively, valuing the relationship more than others) sensual = desiring sensual interaction (kissing, cuddling, handholding, physical affection, sharing space, being physically close) queer = desiring interaction that is not 100% platonic, but is actually more, while not being 100% romantic either (kissing, cuddling, handholding, nonsexual touch, being physically close, affectionate speech, doing things together exclusively, valuing the relationship more than others) platonic = desiring platonic interaction (nonsexual touch, doing things together exclusively, valuing the relationship more than others (possibly), friendship, making lifelong decisions together, relying on each other emotionally) aesthetic = experiencing aesthetic attraction (admiration, valuing their existence more than others (non-obsessively), adoration, interest in their persona, distant emotional reliance) flexible = Identifying as a certain orientation, but flexible in that identity, i.e. occasionally deviating from that orientation. Mostly used as homoflexible or heteroflexible fluid = your orientation or preferences changes over time. It could change rapidly, multiple times a day or very slowly over a course of months or years. It could have a pattern or be random, it could be influenced by external or internal things or nothing at all. It could change back to something you were before or not. flux = An identity that changes in intensity. This label can be applied to both orientations and gender identities to indicate that they feel their identity more strongly some times than others. forced = A feeling that one only feels a type of attraction due to trauma/abuse, and would not feel that type of attraction if they had not experienced that trauma/abuse. slide = Sliding along the scale from repulsed to favorable; not necessarily the whole scale though. spike = Usually not feeling attraction to (prefixmeaning) but occasionally having it rapidly skyrocket into intense attraction, then plummeting down to no attraction again. vague = An orientation that is influenced, in whole or in part, by the person’s neurodivergence. Most commonly used as acevague/arovague. Only use if you are neurodivergent (have a M-I/D/D).3 points

I know very well that I'm supposed to post each idea separately, but these two ideas are strongly linked to each other and lemmuings wouldn't work without ice. The ice idea is from my sister Stagmole. Ice: Ice only appears in mountain biomes. There are four weakness levels of ice. Normal ice doesn't have any cracks on it. Weak ice has one crack on it. Weaker ice has two or three cracks on it. The weakest ice is covered on cracks. If temperature is below 0, sea water freezes. At -1 it will be weak, but if temperature goes below that, it turns into normal ice. Some random spots have ice of different weakness levels. You can nest on ice. At the edges of the island (where you can't even swim) the ice will be weakest. If temperature gets above -1, ice will melt. Weight: Weight would be a new attribute. Different ice levels can carry nichelings of different weights. Here are genes that effect weight: Big body: +2 weight Lean body: -1 weight Armored body: +1 weight Bearyena claw: +1 weight Mammut foot: +2 weight Bearyena hindlegs: +1 weight Creature's weight also depends on their age. One gem nichelings are weightless and two gem nichelings have -3 weight. Here is a list of max weights an ice tile can carry: Normal ice: 4 Weak ice: 3 Weaker ice: 1 Weakest ice: none (any nicheling will fall through even with -1 weight) Interactions: Creatures can walk on ice if it carries their weight. Nichelings will always slide one tile further than were you moved them. If the ice can't carry them, they fall through it. You need to move a nicheling to the tile next to them and pull them up. You need at least two strength to pull a nicheling out of the hole. Pulling a spiky bodied animal will hurt the helping nicheling. If the fallen nicheling spends a night in the hole, it gets the frozen status effect. They will of course also drown. Creatures with hammer tail can break the ice (for fishing purposes or to save a nicheling who's trapped under ice). Lemmuing is a combination of a lemming and a penguing. They spawn on ice and they live in big packs like arctic ramfoxes. Movement: Lemmguins move during day. They try to stay with their pack. On ice they slide on their bellies like penguins. Sometimes they dive in ice holes. When ice starts to melt, they travel to the opposite side of the island on land. Habitat: Lemmguins live in snowy mountain biomes. Hunthing: When attacked, the whole lemmuing pack will escape in different directions. If they're on ice, they will head towards ice holes. One lemmguin drops 5 food. Lifespan: A lemmguin lives for 10 days. Apetite: On ice they eat fish and on land they eat clover. Abilities: 1 speed (on land) 3 sliding (on ice) 2 swimming 2 fishing 2 eyesight 3 hearing 2 smelling 3 cold resistance 1 heat radiation 1 scentless 0 weight Spore pictures provided to you by @orinz2 points

yep. most of it was a sudden theory that came to me when i realized that the Jungle sisters have his orange coloration, so naturally the explanation isn't the logical one that he is a descendant of them (which might have been true, depending on who his original father's parents where); no, he traveled back in time with the Doctor (or at least in the TARDIS). obviously.2 points

and that is why Pheonix is the god of abanonment, who, after he was abandoned, took the form of a baby born to the tribe on the next island, bringing a bearyena along too. then he somehow got ahold of the TARDIS and traveled back in time so that he could have like 4 daughters who also became part of the pantheon. AND THEN once he died after going back in time he took the form of one of his daughters' son but then his tribe abandoned him AGAIN, this time when he was just a teen, taking his grandson/cousin and daughter/aunt away from him. and that's why Pheonix is very interesting even though, initially, he was just a baby that was born that I didn't want and he was too slow getting to the ports so i abandoned him. Pheonix is one of a few gods who didn't actually do much int heir life, it was what happened afterwards that made me love them (like Meringue!).2 points

Here's a little T H O N K. Why don't rogue males mate with wanderers? Is it because their baby likely won't survive and thus they instead only aim for females in tribes? But different tribes have different rules, and as I've seen a lot of players do is kill the rogue babies. But wanderers aren't in tribes, and thus are less likely going to drown the little demons. Plus, wanderers can't attack rogue males. So they can easily just come back to mate every single time the wanderer is done taking care of a kiddo. I dunno.2 points
