*gasp* I just came here to post a bunch of unbelieveably jealous cats. It seems that's the only thing these two can agree on. That's the last remaining kitten, anyway, he's pretty tame. Two were adopted, two died. Horrible photography skills are my mom's. He's got a white tailtip and is pretty cute all around.

I like the addition of the family tree in Niche, but I think it could be improved upon. Currently, ancestors are not recorded in the family tree and are eventually deleted, showing only the current generation. Part of the enjoyment of creating the family tree is going back and looking at the ancestors, so I think this would be a good change to make. This would also make it easier to manage your nichelings, as you would be able to see exactly who is descended from who. As some players have tribes of over one hundred members, a scrolling feature could be added to the family tree when it becomes too long. I would also like to suggest adding bearyenas to the family tree when it mates with one of your nichelings, similar to rogue males. The hybrid offspring currently only shows one parent, and besides looking at their bearyena genes, there is no way to tell if they are descended from one.

Aw, thanks Tips? I dunno... I'm bad at tips. I tried to keep the colouring somewhat close to the lineart, don't know if that helps. Sorry for not having better advice

She started walking away, but then decided she needed a nap.

Hey everybody, I'm Emeraldheart! I just joined the Niche forums but I've been playing Niche ever since it was in beta. I have an interest in art, animation, genetics, and evolution, so Niche is essentially what comes to mind when I think of the perfect game. ^u^ I'm also a huge fan of warrior cats, and it seems like a lot of other people here are too, so hopefully I can bond with some of you over a common interest! That's a fair point, and i can understand how it might feel a necessity to some people. At the same time, however, considering it's already playable without doing so, it would only be something that min-maxer type of players would really want or feel the need to do. The hope is that it provides some benefit to higher skill/more efficient players who would be looking for an additional reward for not just finishing a mission, but finishing it professionally and efficiently

It should be easy to just add all the DPS numbers. But it's hard for all weapons to hit the same (or any) target. So maybe a live value of 'DPS done to targets in the last 10sec' would be more helpful. Maybe keep the maximum value for bragging rights. Doing the same to digging strength could also be nice.

I was thinking that there should be a key binding menu. It would be up in the corner of the screen, and it would allow you to see what all your key binds are and what they are connected to. The most important feature would be that they would allow you to change multiple key bindings at once. Right now, if you want to change a key within a complicated logic circuit, you have to sift through all the logic blocks to find all the places that the key exists. This can create a lot of glitches. Also, if a creation has a massive amount of thrusters, you have to manually change every single thruster, or delete them all and start again.

Little late to the party, but I wholeheartedly agree that the purr snout in it's current state is creepy :D Someone said it kinda looks like a fox for than a cat. I love cats and hope to see that soft adorable kitten look someday in Niche... For me the whiskers look kind of jarring, like to poor things have been victims of porcupine attack! D:
