The night comes and goes, the stars shine and fade, and sometime during the night a baby boy is born. His fur is dark red like his mother's but without markings like his father. His eyes are a sweet hazel, and his mane as green as the leaves above him. His mother cradles him in her arms, making sure he's warm and safe.

Basically what the title says - I think a Blue Gray fur gene would be really pretty and I've seen a few people mention it around the forums, though not necessarily in a post of their own! I think Blue Gray would be a really pretty addition and not wholly unrealistic, and I think would fit well in the game's environment as well. I know that there is a suggestion for Gray fur here: Which suggests a midtone gray fur gene that would give more variation than just black and white, which I really like! HOWEVER, I think a separate Blue Gray gene along with a midtone Gray gene would be really cool to have as well! We have Red and Red Brown, so I don't think Blue and Blue Gray would be too much, especially if they're sufficiently different, so make sure to give the Gray Fur suggestion an upvote as well ^^^ I did a mockup of what the Blue Gray fur and its hybrid combinations would look like, which I've posted below, and I've also included the mockup I did for Lilyturf's Gray Fur suggestion so you could see how they might be different ^-^ I know that the purple-y fur colors aren't the most realistic but neither are the bright red creatures in the first place, so I think as long as they're not neon they would still fit, haha! I did two versions of the Yellow fur hybrid since I wasn't sure whether to go with a more greenish or brownish tone. Also, I know that this suggestion exists: However it is suggesting more colors than just blue, in more vibrant tones, that would possibly be linked to bird genes, so I thought it was still appropriate for me to make my own suggestion since I thought they were different enough. ^-^

Floo, after getting some berries, hops over to the nest. When he sees the child, he gasps. 'Rosie, he looks just like you!' Floo says excitedly. 'Yep,' Rosie replies proudly. 'Except for that tail. Now that's defiantly his father's.' She shifts to the side, revealing a white hammer-like tail. She's right. That's defiantly from Glacier. Floo chooses to spend the whole day by the nest. How could he not?

Floo, who is waiting at the berry bush, decides to head over to meet his new nephew. Not before picking up some berries, of course. While he's at it, he can't help but notice that the whole bay seems brighter and more alive as if greeting the new born into the world.

We have big ears, why not small ears? They would basically be the opposite of the big ears; it would be unlocked by spending 30 days in a cold climate and would provide either +2 or +3 hearing, +2 cold resistance and -1 heat resistance. Here's a drawing I made: They do somewhat resemble the round ears, but they would be slightly smaller and slightly pointed, which would distinguish them. The small ears would also have fur in them. Also, some random knowledge: the ears are where a large amount of body heat is given off. That is why animals that live in cold places, for example the polar bear, have small, rounded ears, while animals in hot places, like the fennec fox, have large ears! EDIT: new art again

'So, what are we gonna to name him?' He asks. She thinks for a moment. 'Mmm, I'm not exactly sure. What does he look like to you?' Glacier looks at their son, still just a bundle of dark red fur. 'What about we name him after your father?' 'Nunu? He does look like a lot like him...' She only needs a second before she says, 'I love it! Nunu it is.'

Ah, the first save is from Lilytuft's challenge (idk what is was called, something to do with breaking the default). Glad you like Bandit and Maple! I remember when Bandit was born. I actually remember a lot of the Kikonoko tribe. Fun fact: everyone is descended from rogue males, because once upon a time I ran out of males and rogues were the only option. (There were a LOT of albino kids a few generations later...) They're the prettiest tribe I've ever had. Mister Christmas Niche of whatever-year was born in it P.S. I don't remember if I reverted everyone's gems to default but if everyone has some odd color combo gems, they correspond to their mates. You can do whatever you want though

i tried both of them, again with full intention of completely wrecking everything- can you guess what happened? bet you wont- yEp, i got attached. again. specifically to Kikonoko. your saves will continue to haunt me with their power of never letting me let them go anyway, the first one was named 'Default', heres some screenshots: anyway, uh, Kikonoko- HERES THE ABSLOUTE MONSTER THAT MADE ME WANT TO KEEP PLAYING BAD PRETTY NICHELING, BAD This girl also absolutely stole my heart- (yes, i renamed her, hope you dont mind cgvhbjkl)

first one isnt very interesting, looked like this: all of these except the first and fourth one are just Sandbox Settings, but i did try a few of them out this one was just a bunch of nichelings that looked the same aside from their colors, patterns and kind-of ears. All of them either had nimble fingers, claws, or both. didnt go far with that one this one....is just a bunch of derp snouts, four of which are completely useless the healing modifier was also at 100x, so thats kinda weird? didnt go far with this one either and this last one i tried is basically the same as the first one, a bunch of nichelings that look the same aside from their bodies and snouts this one was a little different from the others, since it had a tribe size limit, but not much

Thanks to the update I was finally able to access the desert, so I sent one of my nichelings there and finally got the ability to buy nests!

Here's your problem: Wanderers only spawn in grass, just like a lot of other entities. The ExploreAllFields commands removes all the grass from every island you use it on, meaning wanderers or rogue males won't spawn. Also, I suggest backing up save files that use the console, since it's pretty buggy and could ruin your saves (it might not though, for example I've never really had the console break one of my games).
