  6. I forgot to put this, but you could make hybrids of dragons from both Pyhrria and Pantala. If you already knew this then... okay. But if you didn’t, I don’t mind if you change your dragon. I’ll probably wait another hour to start, just since I’m doing something. You don’t have to be ready by then if you are changing your dragon. It’s just for the prople who aren’t changing their dragon.

  7. -Going to make some changes, what is here is not the final suggestion- Collaboration with @BirdsAreCool Erythrism is a pigment mutation in which the fur of an animal is abnormally reddish or orangeish. Like with albinism or melanism, the animal's color is drastically changed but, depending on the animal's environment/lifestyle, it won't be negatively affected too much, as with leopards. This has been recorded in European badgers, wildebeests, jackals, katydids, and other animals as well. This gene would have no effect on your animals except making them more orangey/creamy in color, whatever their fur color. The animal will be a darker color of orange the darker they naturally are. You can see this with leopards, as their naturally black spots are pretty dark compared to the rest of their coat, which would be tan/white. Here are examples of erythristic animals. Insects affected by erythrism are turned pink! Perhaps toxic body creatures with erythrism can be pink, since I don't imagine a toxic body being furry and instead being more like the texture of an insect. The gene would be pretty useless honestly, giving no boosts and no disadvantages either. It's just another pigment mutation that can go beside albinism and melanism pretty much, but I thought it'd still be cool to suggest. At least it adds more color variety to your creatures eh? This gene will not affect red fur, yellow fur, or orange fur (red and yellow combination), since these colors are technically already erythristic (red pigmentation). If the horn color has orange it too won't be affected, but if not it will. Erythrism would be recessive to melanism and albinism, albinism > melanism > erythrism. 18. A lot of suggestions involve a new slot for a small feature that really fit into any other gene slot but is too small to take up a whole slot dedicated to just that feature. (The UI can only be so long until it reaches the edge of the screen.) So let's have multiple traits in a single slot! The most dominant one would be "no trait" and the rest could be things like heterochromia or genetic diseases. I think this could make an okay DLC. List of suggestions that could work with this: (if there are more that I didn't list, let me know and I'll add them) I'll also be making a new suggestion soon involving this

  21. I. Penny’s hands were shaking more than usual as she carried Mrs. Crane’s coffee mug and corkboard coaster to where she was sitting by the fire, surrounded by tall bookcases full of old books and little mementos of an unknown past. She had worked as a housekeeper many times before, sure. The nice old man down the street. The mother with her five kids. The guy who worked all day and needed someone to walk his dog. Those jobs had been relatively easy, though, because all of those people had been easy to please, and Penny was good at pleasing them. Not once had they ever yelled at her for making the baby cry or feeding the dog at the wrong time or putting the dishes in the dishwasher the wrong way. And she had delicate yet steady hands that were not prone to drop things or knock them over. Maybe it was her confidence that gave her such poise, because now she could see the coffee in the mug slosh up and down rapidly. Don’t spill on the rug, don’t spill on the rug, she whispered to herself, holding her breath as she crossed Mrs Crane’s beautiful oriental carpet. It felt rough and nubby under her socks, so it must have been hand-woven too, and very expensive. She crossed the rug to the tall red wingback chair where Mrs Crane sat with her hunched posture and beady eyes. She wasn’t an old woman, though--her hair was long and blonde with graying roots, and it fell down nearly to her waist. She raised her head slightly as Penny approached. “Took you long enough. Give it here.” Penny handed her the mug and gave a quiet sigh of relief. She didn’t think she managed to spill anything. As if reading her thoughts, the woman continued. “You didn’t spill anything, did you?” “No, ma’am,” said Penny. “I hope not,” Mrs Crane hissed menacingly. “This rug cost me thousands. If you spilled on it, I would’a snapped your little neck.” Snap my neck? That’s a bit harsh, Penny thought. She didn’t want to admit it, but she knew it was too true: She was terrified of Mrs Crane. This woman had a reputation of being reclusive and nasty, and now Penny knew that for a fact. “Yes, ma’am,” Penny murmured. She left Mrs Crane there in her chair by the fireplace and headed out of the living room. “I’m going to clean the upstairs bathroom...if you don’t mind.” Mrs Crane didn’t say anything, so Penny crossed through the large hallway to the stairs. The ceilings were high, at least ten feet. The walls of the hall were covered with a forest green mural wallpaper, with intricate, vintage patterns resembling leaves and flowers. One side of the hall was lined with three large windows that reached from near the floor to the top of the ceiling. The dark mahogany trim and the smoky gray velvet curtains made the whole room feel warm but gloomy and mysterious. They reminded her of an english castle compared to her own small house. A sense of envy and longing washed over her as she turned at the double doors with the stained glass awning and began the climb up Mrs Crane’s long staircase.

  23. Well, we have melanism and albinism, so why not piebaldism? Oh, right... Some of you don't know what piebaldism is. *ahem* Piebaldism is kind-of like a weird blend of albinism and normal skin. It's where some parts of the body have missing pigments, resulting in that part being pure white. In animals, it looks like this: EDIT: I have been told that the dog has a similar disorder called vitiligo; not piebaldism. So, to make up for it, have a cute piebald fawn. Other than it looking beautiful, it doesn't really affect health. I think it would look something like this in Niche? What do you guys think of piebaldism in Niche?

  25. Right now albinism in niche is a desirable gene due to it's beutiful looks, even tough it removes all camoflauge. In real life albino animals have a really small change of surviving. They lack protection from UV and have bad eyesight. I have had rats with red eyes, and they all had bad eyesight. (I haven't had an albino rat, but many colors like marten come with red eyes.) So my suggestion is to edit following stats on albino nichelings: remove all heat recistance make it so that albino nichelings can only have blind or shortsighted eyes This is just to make the game more realistic. Albinism is currently too easy to survive with. If a lot of people don't want it, we could make it a sandbox option!
