Hey folks As it often is the case when I have a longer vacation, I started prototyping a small Niche-related game ^^ So far, all you can do selecting your little 'Nichelings' and tell them were to go. If you place them next to bushes, they automatically start collecting and continue to do when you leave them there (automating tasks is one the points I want to try out with this prototype). You can also approach an animal of the opposite sex and mate with it. And after setting the pregnant female in the nest and waiting for a but, a baby is born. No genetics yet 😮 I'll be tinkering some more with this and let you know

i got bored and decided to try out a cartoony style with some of my nicheling ocs. i might draw a few of your ocs if you post them in the thread, but i cant do everyone LOL. if you want me to explain who they are, just lemme know

@alex602h Yes Niche mobile is still in development We'll have a focus week next week and will potentially be in touch to ask for feedback! However I'm not the programmer of the game so I can't really go ahead and just try new things out with it. This is just me doing stuff I like in my free time ^^

my sims 4 drama with run on sentences: so this gal Hunter started off super duper poor cause that's more fun and she was a secret agent or something I think and she had a boyfriend and she got pregannt with his baby and named the son Raven and then she woohooed with her now-elder boyfriend until he died and then the grim reaper came and they flirted and I used cheats to make her get pregnant with his kid and she named this one Lazarus (christian inside joke I guess haha) and she died when Raven was a teen. during this time I trapped a child named Sierra in our home and didnt let her leave. also Hunter got real fat for some reason and I made her workout but nothing changed Raven grew up, laz is a kid, sierra is no longer our slave, we have a girlcat named Spoon. Raven and Sierra go to the nightclub and when they come back they're dating and Sierra's pregnant. they elope as soon as they get home in the crappy kitchen. Sierra tries to get Spoon to mate wit like 10 male cats and Spoon hates all of them so they get a cat named Fork and they have two kittens named Spork and Butter Knife. Sierra has the baby but then Raven cheats on her, she gets mad so she divorces him and kicks him out within 10 minutes of the cheating. Raven takes Butter Knife with him. Lazarus is a teen and is living with Sierra and the new kid Leo still. Spork is sold to Sierra's friend and her fam cause they're poor. Sierra's a freelancer writer now. during the divorce thing Sierra and Lazarus get really low on their needs and it take like3 days to get them to normal and I was still cheating their needs some. Leo's a toddler but I made him independent so all I have to do is take some food out of the fridge once in a while. Fprk n Spoon make 2 kittens named Steak knife and Toothpick. and that's the story so far lol

Since the saves has been fixed, I got an idea. Im going to post a save here, anyone who wants to participate can download it and play it. If they want they can do a thread of their own playthrough of the save, so over time each one will have an alternate version of the original timeline. They can do whatever they want on it, will their nichelings evolve to hunters or collectors? Will they go to easier or harder islands? Will they go extinct?

Give em to me! I will also do shading with these, too!

This feels almost like a fun little sequel. If you get it to a point where you're comfortable sharing it, I'd love to try it out even with the current level of polish it has. The graphics, while low poly, look cute and I love the way it seems kinda freeroam (even though I'm a lover of hexagons)

I love the idea!! Imagine if you could make your favorite nichelings from the game (probably very simplified) and see them walking around and doing things!

this is the niche section, it is up to green if she wants to draw a request or not, these are her requests. also the did i stutter is pretty rude, i know it was a joke but still.

i think time spent on something shouldn’t be a reflection of effort or quality because you can create amazing things in shorter amounts of time! but yeah that is a lot of time- i usually spend a lot of time on digital art, I think the longest i’ve spent on a peice that i’ve finished was like 7 1/2 hours
