Bit of progress from yesterday's night promgramming session - Adam and Eve are back! - Worked some more on the breeding system - Added age levels (no more breeding with the babies, yay) - Added some more UI info Also they had SO MANY DAUGHTERS! I already thought it was a bug, until the little prince was born ❤️

aight nicenice, i ended up making a full ref anyways though LOL but it's nice to know for the future he can be turned into a feral and his markings can be simplified if you want, but i only want a headshot so i dont think it'll matter whether he's anthro or feral LOL he has the fish head and body, and big ears. most of his mane is actually fins, but the back is fur and in a ponytail.

Not a lot of visible progress tonight, but the first genetic-based mating took place 😮 Also, the pond is no longer in need of help.

WOW! A MIRACLE! I remembered this and updated it! only a tiny bit, just moved around the baby bits and fixed some things, didn't add anything new but hey, we're getting there!

@A Nicheling Yeah health and age currently work like in the normal Niche. But who knows for how long Take all of this with a a grain of salt In this prototype 1 time unit is only a few second, so their lives might not be longer at all But none of this is even close to being balanced, so it's just random numbers for now. About hunger: Yeah, I'm not sure yet if I should just go with the classic "we are sharing all our food globaly" mechanic, or if an individual feeding and food transportation mechanic would be fun...Have to try it out ^^

Hey folks As it often is the case when I have a longer vacation, I started prototyping a small Niche-related game ^^ So far, all you can do selecting your little 'Nichelings' and tell them were to go. If you place them next to bushes, they automatically start collecting and continue to do when you leave them there (automating tasks is one the points I want to try out with this prototype). You can also approach an animal of the opposite sex and mate with it. And after setting the pregnant female in the nest and waiting for a but, a baby is born. No genetics yet 😮 I'll be tinkering some more with this and let you know

i got bored and decided to try out a cartoony style with some of my nicheling ocs. i might draw a few of your ocs if you post them in the thread, but i cant do everyone LOL. if you want me to explain who they are, just lemme know

Dukro is the self-proclaimed leader of the tribe, always very rude and screams at everyone. But is foolish and also a coward. Priku is the guard of the tribe, loves to hunt and eat. He is also good at collecting. Kupri is an ugly bat that almost no one cares about or likes, he is also kinda useless. Nudukir likes to be alone and away from all the drama, he dislikes company. Ronu is a crazy fish.

Here they are and also a short personality for each. (I’m bad at doing personalities so you can add more descriptions for each of them) Sisi is the supposed healer, though she doesn’t like to help others much. She also thinks she is superior to others and looks down on them. Misi is Sisi’s sister, she thinks she is the most beautiful thing on the planet and she is very picky and complains about everything. Also, appearance-based when choosing mates. Anais, she is a kind duck that is kinda clumsy and likes to eat worms. Not very popular. Lameel is a Nicheling that loves to eat bugs, which disgusts most tribemates. But she doesn’t care, she likes sleeping sickness bugs and termites. (Which sometimes helps the tribe)
