Added some basic behaviour for the Bearyena. If it's hungry, it looks for food. In this case meat on the ground that can be picked up. If it runs into a Nicheling or Rabbil it will try to turn them into meat too. It can carry some meat around with it and consume it when hungry. The rest of the time it roams around. Nina is back in the hunting game. Through a series of awesome moves whcih I cannot show you, Nina converts rabbil into food. You may ask yourself, didn't she just sustain serious injuries? Yes, but people with serious injuries can do anything normal people can do! Don't discriminate kids.

A bit of progress - Particle effects! (they help so much to understand what is happening in the game and to find bugs) - Nichelings can now finally eat. If their hunger is low and they carry food, they eat it. And babies drink milk from their moms!

I gotta post a new episode this week, but for now Imma just keep linking to my older ones on here. Episode 8: In this video, the messangers sent to the pink line island are rejected. A creature drowns trying to cross over to another island, leaving his mate who survived the crossing to have twins on her own. And a bearyena spawns in next to two creatures who just had a child in the middle of no where and have no chance of killing the creature in time. The first bearyena of the playthrough. Also, a couple nichelings die of old age. Not a good day, but I think we'll survive.

Daisy and Baba come over. This is Baba's first glimpse at the port. She's very excited. A nicheling of her size doesn't belong on this island.

AAHH rain! Such a sight for sore eyes! Leo picks the berry bush clean. He'll have plenty of food here, but who knows whats across the sea? Could be nothing. Literally. That would be sad.

Leo and Nina starts collecting. They ran out of food cause they were throwing it at the plant while it was trying to devour Nina Then Leo spots something quiet exciting. Fish! His long lost passion. You'd think with all the crazy stuff going on in the last few days they would all hate this place, but not Leo. He's one of the few who see the jungle for it's beauty, not it's many killer plants and animals.

Baba feels a little ill. Probably from that pink dude who's name she forgot. She decides to hang back a bit. oh. berries And more death plants. But Nina's learned her lesson

Daisy pulls Nina out before she can get a grip. 'Oh my whatever-we-worship Nina! Are you all right?' 'Fine I just.. ow my head.' 'Yeah that doesn't look fine.' 'What about Pig? He's dead!' Leo chimes in 'He was eating those plants for immortality, but evenuatally he would go. Plus he was sick and really old. Not too suprised.' 'But didn't you see how much he looked like me? The face, the arms, the pattern. We could've been related!' Nina says. Daisy comforts her. 'Nina, that could be anyone. What are the chances!' Nina still looks sad though, so Daisy tries 'Look, we're hear for you now. Related or not.' she smiles.

Quickly, Baba, Leo, and Daisy swarm the plant. They spend all of the next day trying to get her out. By bashing, smashing and clawing at the thick pink petals. Even Pig comes to help

The five start moving. Pig stays behind to gather some berries and practice self quarantine.

Port! At last! Leo doubts he'll need it, but it's good news for the others.

The Aftermath (147-149 days in) Thornbush quickly began expecting a new child. Hopefully they had another child with the gift of fangs. Meanwhile, Snowchaser came down to help Hare escort the rebels. Suddenly- A new rogue had waltzed out of the snowbanks and Pine began expecting her second child. Why does Pine attract all the rogues She slapped him away quickly, but Snowchaser already had an idea on how her child could be used to punish her. Meanwhile, Moose had been contained by his sister and Sakura. He tried to reason with Forest, but in the teen's eyes, he was dead to her; just another foolish rebel. She didn't want to be related to Moose if he was willing to hurt his their grandfather, who was inching closer to his demise. Quartz was shoved into a hotspring. The other screenshot I had for this day vanished, but it was just Snowchaser escorting Pine some more. He's planning to use a Rockfall punishment for her child (will be seen when she does have her child). Suddenly, the tribe's greatest nightmare creature loomed over Quartz. Dammit At the same time, a ranfox lunged towards Hare and Snowchaser. It took them about three seconds to decide what they wanted to do. Snowchaser wanted to destroy all the ramfoxes on this island and then some. For Voidwalker- and for Kira, although they had their differences. Well. Mostly Voidwalker. Kira had always been a bit cold, but a great contributor to the tribe. As much as he wanted to leave behind the Rockfall ways, he found it hard to not seek revenge. Or punish Pine like how the Rockfalls would. More specifically, the legendary-ancient queen of the Rockfalls, Serpent. As the tribe fled from the balance bear, someone forgot to keep an eye on two of the local rebels. Sn: "Is everyone here?" S: "Yes." Sn: "What about Quartz and Moose?" Forest and Sakura exchanged an oh-crap look. But it was already too late. Moose and Quartz were already fleeing down the mountain. Quartz took this as a sign that even the balance bears that inhabited the mountain chose her over Hare as a leader, and had let the pair escape. Meanwhile, more ramfoxes began to attack the tribe. Although they were easily fought off, nobody felt that safe anymore; Wikku stayed closer to Almond. Sakura realized how powerful her fur was, and shielded elderly Hare from the rain of ramfoxes. Snowchaser kept an extra-close eye on Pine. Forest stayed beside Hare, who was halfway to death's doorstep, incase the balance bear tried to attack him. But all knew one thing; Pine couldn't hurt them while expecting a child and under strict surveillance. Pine herself felt her hope begin to falter; Quartz and Moose would surely come back for her, right? They might've escaped at her expense, but they're probably forming a plan to rescue her, right? They wouldn't leave her and her child to die at the hands of the Frozen Empire..? They wouldn't betray her.. after she fought alongside them.. After she had protected Quartz.. After she had left Silent for them.. Right?

Then Daisy walks over. 'What did you guys find?' She looks at Baba and Leo. 'Meh. Nothing worth staying for. I think I'm ready to leave.' 'Good, cause we found a port. Looks to lead to some sort of grass island.' Daisy replies. Leo looks at the ground. 'Guess we'll take this guy too.' They looks at Pig.

Meanwhile, Daisy goes to gather some berries. Someone used them all inviting an old pink man into their group.

'There they are!' Leo exclaims. (I don't know what's with this guy and his eyes ://////)

Baba and Leo can neither see nor smell the ape so they relax But while they walk back Baba notices something off.

Oh jeez While making their way back to the meeting area Daisy and Nina play another game of avoid-that-flesh-eating-plant.

This is just for fun. Just a little something I thought would be nice to do now that the role play has reached one year and over 200 pages. The characters I drew aren't all mine. Hopefully, nobody will mind if I use their characters. The characters are all from the role play 'Time and Space" by Katumai. Some don't look 100% as they are described or shown in pictures. Chalk it up to my low art skill.This is highly made in the same image of 'School rumble' ending song. The song is Onna no Ko♥Otoko no Ko (オンナのコ♥オトコのコ; Girls♥Boys) by Yuko Ogura.And lastly I don't own the song only the pictures used.

After playing for awhile nichlings textures flashed from invisible to visable.

Lots of ideas related to eating mechanics ^^ (I usually write down what I want to program before actually programming it.) // Means it's a comment. These are ignored by the complier.

FInally got to keep programming a bit ^^ - Rabbils now roam around, search for food and eat grass (and run away from predators of course) - Baby/Child Nichelings now follow their moms around - There is now a multiselect function - And all the bugs have been fixed (with Micha's help) Please excuse the bad frame rate, my laptop isch an ancient potato.
