So, I did this short documentation of the start of this specific tribe, sort of adding in story like elements and a few pics. This was super fun to make but a bit time consuming, but it'd be cool to know if anyone would be interested in this sort of storytelling. Turns out Sun Bean isn't a good dad. His first son is sick (far left). I named him Russle after the kid from Up. His second is healthy and has blue eyes like him. His name is Burning Mane. Because Russle is sick they kinda over look him and give more attention to Burning Mane, who they think will become a tribe hero one day. Don't worry though, the queen of this tribe is also sickly so she'll have a soft spot for him.

The next episode has been uploaded But here's episode 13 for those following along on here: In this video we start out with nearly 100, (98), nichelings. When 5 babies are born near the end of the video the nicheling count meter officially goes over 100 nichelings at 102 nichelings. Red-blue line leader and torch-bearer Rekoana passes away just as we hit this mark. Priduk and his mate start the crossing to Crossing Point island. She makes it all the way across in one turn but Priduk doesn't, leaving him in the water to take damage. Yellow lines are established as a yellow creature settles down with one of the two sisters he bred with and Sianako, Rekoana's jealous sister, starts a line of her own. Mememe's children are finally given gems that represent their family line.

Toby writes a series of Bible-themed troll stories. Toby, Toby and Toby troll them, so Toby kills Toby off. Toby then claims to be Toby's brother, then Toby claims that Toby's brother is dead and that he was posing as him the entire time. Toby keeps hacking into Toby's accounts and deleting storiedìs, and finally Toby confesses to being Toby and Toby confesses to being toby.

Only damage types that could make a nicheling bleed normally have a chance to (ex. poison gives no bleed, carnivorous plant does). If you need someone to bleed, you can use addstatuseffect

the president cactus lore is getting so confusing this is getting even deeper than the dark souls lore ( i do not know how deep the dark souls lore is but apparently it is very deep )

Now that I've figured out how to take screenshots in niche, time to do a nicheling dump! Rekoana is named after a legend and thus was chosen as the torch-bearer of the Red-blue-red line! Rekoana the first was dumped by her mate after I went to the wrong island and had to thin down on nichelings, only to be chosen by another male and be able to go onto the next island. This Rekoana hopped two archipelago islands in her time and was the first to settle on the island her family is still settling today. Rekoana, Lamere, Reresi, Vanduk, and Sianoko are all siblings. They're the children of Raissi and part of the Red-blue-red line. Lamere has her own family now. Reresi and her older sister Rasi (whom I forgot to get a screenshot of) stayed in their parent's nesting area their whole lives dutifully collecting food for the tribe. Vanduk stayed with his elder sisters most of his life, but eventually fell in love and left in search of the female, (who already has another mate ) This is her. She has no idea Vanduk is in love with her, and she developed feelings for the male she has traveled with for a long time. She is a green line creature who was a messenger sent out to announce the meeting of the family lines. This is Siko's mate. He was also a messenger and they traveled a long ways together visiting most of the family lines. He's notable in his own right because he's an orange tabby lol. And a decent healer. He's from the Pink-blue line. Three notable nichelings in this picture. Prirolur is the male standing next to the Bearyena. Loelana is the featured one. She fell in love with the bearyena and is pregnant with it's child about to give birth. She also has beautiful markings. The other female is Ralala who is not happy about Loelana breeding with the Bearyena. Ralala looks like a tiger to me Ralala's daughter who is the red-blue-red line representative at the meeting of the family lines (Ralala is red line, but her mate is red-blue-red line). Jumping back to the red-blue(-red) line siblings, this is Sianako's daughter. Sianako was older than and jealous of Rekoana cause she had better genes but her sister was chosen to carry on the family line and wants to create her own family line to envy her sister. She's dead now but her children carry on her ambitions. Meissi is one of my only creatures with bird-beak showing (a historically red/red-blue-red line gene) which is why she's notable. Lais is the representative to the meeting of the family lines for Sianako's new Blue-Red-Yellow line. Also she has a pretty pattern kinda like a leopard. Nuvan and Siko are the founders of the green line. Nuvan was a wanderer that Siko found. They settled on tiny Crossing Point island and had a family. When Nuvan died, Siko moved with her children to her mate's native island and named it after him. Mememe was mates with Dukduk, son of Siko and Nuvan. Unfortunately, when they tried to go to another island together and explore it, Dukduk ended up taking alot of drowning damage. Him and Mememe had as many children as they could in hopes of getting a purr-faced creature who could heal him, but she didn't give birth to one in time. She raised her children completely alone on the island, and then sent them onto another island shortly before her death. The island on which she and her mate died was named after him, and the island to which her children traveled was named after her. Also alot of notable creatures are on this island: Vanno is a pink-blue line creature who just looks beautiful. That's the only reason he's on this list lol Dukpri and Vanno look similair (I can't figure out which is in the above photo). He is a green line creature, and I think is their representative at the meeting but not sure. He also looks beautiful. Reel and Kirnu are mates. They were raised together as the green and pink-blue lines live on Nuvan's Island together. They are torch-bearers of the pink-blue line. Kirnu asked for Reel's hand, which is becoming traditional for certain family lines of my tribe. Before, mates were mainly selected by the parents or got together without any permission at all. This is more of a middle ground. Also, these two are gorgeous. Miisla and Prinu are siblings and the most notable of the red-blue-yellow line. Prinu is the leader of his siblings and quite responsible. Miisla is an adventurer who pushes her siblings onward to new islands and new heights. They both have red and brown coloring, and look striking in their own way. Ropridon is the eldest child of the current yellow line breeding pair. He is also the yellow lines representative at the meeting. Iskois is a yellow line creature who lives on Yellow island and collects berries. She doesn't like to kill bunnies. Kolen, Elmiko, and Tulluro got their father's antlers which I'm super excited about. They are yellow line creatures. Kolen has some pretty brown spotting and looks kinda like a reindeer or other deer. Elmiko is kinda pretty since she's white, (off-white anyways). She also got the digging paw I was going for with the mutation menu (it was a once in a blue moon occurrence for me to use it but I got the idea to get digging paw back in the family... and hey, it worked!) Talurro reminds me of Christmas but is also super freaky at the same time. Anasira was a pink-blue-pink (different from the other pink-blue/pink-blue-pink line) line breeding creature. She had ram horns and also some of that pretty chocolate striping I'm a sucker for. Rodukvan is part of the pink-blue-pink line and may be Anasira's son but may also be a mate of one of her children. He was my first creature with big ears! And last but not least is Priduk, who is a pink line creature. He was banished by his brother after daring to say their tribe should go to the meeting of the family lines against the wishes of their now dead mother. His line is pink-pink-green to show he was banished and to distinguish him from the main pink line ("pink kingdom") and the many other pink lines. He was permitted to take a mate with him and is now having children on Crossing Point awaiting the meeting to take place. He's so pretty! And these are my current notable nichelings! Cant miss the chance to show off my nichelings and go on a tangent in my head about why they're the best! /j/j/j starting off with-..uh yeah i dont have an excuse for this guy's name And his (I think) second cousin, Magina, a really pretty nicheling who's basically become a spirit of wildlife Her father was some random guy that I didn't have enough food to invite in (and, weirdly enough, looked a lot like one of my friend's nichelings), so I just bred one of my females with him before he disappeared and the result was Magina. I'm guessing that wanderer guy had some kind of secret he was keeping, considering Magina's abilities These next few are just nichelings from OBBACL that I really like- if i shoved every nicheling i liked into this post we would be here all day, so I'm gonna stop there for now-

man i kinda miss real school. Teacher were nice, building was always pretty cool, and I miss the bathrooms. Janitors really went above and beyond to give it that strawberry scent

Working on your projects in weeks sounds useful. I once tried to work on two different stories at once and that doesn't work very well. The characters start bleeding over into each other. So I totally get it. And I agree with everyone above we are excited but it is worth waiting for

We also always have to try our best to remain sustainable. Our studio now has to be able to sustain 10 people. (Though many of us work part time, so it would be about 5-6 full time employees). In Switzerland (were we work and live), that means costs of about $30'000 every month. The big money from games usually comes in when you launch (Early Access launch und full launch). In a "normal" month, where no big launches or sales are happening, we depend on the money we made earlier. So, we constantly have to work towards another launch in order to remain sustainable and be able to make games we (and you!) love for many more years hopefully ❤️

Just met an especially cute specimen with a "Purr Head" This is a new gene that will be in the next update. These Nichelings can "purr" to heal (remove damage) from surrounding pack members ^^
