Howdy, it's ya girl back at it again after another work-related absence I hate my job And here we have... a Wolvden playthrough! You guys seemed to really like my lioden one, so I hope you enjoy this, too. RULES: Lifespan Lifespans work as the following. One month in wolvden time = 1 day niche time. Nichelings will live for 96 days total; 2 days as a baby, 4 as a child, 6 as a teenager, and 84 days as an adult. Pregnancy lasts 2 days, and Nicheling wolves can breed from the time they reach adulthood up to 86 days old for females and until death for males. Female wolves can only breed once every 13 days. Damage for hunger is 20, environment is 10, Enemies is 5. I'm disabling defender bears and rogue males. Pack roles Lead Wolves: The ruler of the pack! For lore purposes in this playthrough, the Starfinder Pack will be a monarchy and leaders will be passed down generation to generation. Can be male or female, and can perform the primary tasks of whatever role they fancy (hunting, berry gathering, scouting, etc). Their middle gems are GOLD. Herbalists: Only one herbalist can exist in the pack, and they function as a sort of medicine cat would in my warriors playthroughs. They mainly function to heal wounds in lore here and to gather berries and acorns. Their middle gems are GREEN. Scouts: Up to 2 scouts can be allowed in the pack. They clear the tall grass in the wolves' territory in order for them to be able to move around. Once an island is fully explored, the pack can move, but they must slay enemies (bearyenas, other nichelings, etc) in their path first, like in Wolvden. The number of enemies needed to slay depends on the number of nichelings currently in the pack. The formula to calculate is [(TotalWolfCount - LeadWolf)/4] + 2 = WolvesToBeSlain. Slaying progress is reset if the lead wolf retires. This sounds complex, but it'll be explained more in practice. Their middle gems are BLUE. Hunters: In charge of collecting food for the pack; they can only gather food by hunting, though. Hunters also have specialisms within the role; sneakier wolves specialize in being Stalkers, quicker wolves are Chasers, and stronger wolves are Finishers. However, in a lack of having enough hunters, a wolf can switch between specialisms. Their middle gems are ORANGE. Pupsitting, Mentoring, and being a Breeding Male will all be secondary roles so we can have enough hunters and scouts for the pack. The pack can only have one Breeding Male who can breed disregarding pair bonds, but he is not romantically involved with those he mates with. Pupsitters are usually taken on by the mother or father of the pups, and Mentoring is taken on by any wolf within a role or a wolf can choose to be one after reaching 60 days of age. Personalities A new personality set will be visible, based off the Wolvden personalities. Check out a preview of them here! (Credit to Skudde on the Wolvden Forum) These will effect wolf couple compatibility as well as how well leaders are viewed. Mating/Bonding, Compatibility Wolves can be in pair bonds, an exciting feature in this playthrough! Once a wolf has been in the pack for 4 days, they can form a pair bond depending on their personality compatibility. This is not only for lore, but also allows for non-breeding males to have pups. If a pair bond breaks up (A wolf dies or they are no longer compatible) it takes 15 days before either wolf can be in a pair bond again. It is taboo to have pups outside of a pair bond, but can happen in this playthrough for lore! Bonuses If 2 Nichelings are born in a litter, one will be a "runt" and one will be a "largest pup". That's enough of the rules... My starter wolves will be posted soon!

The rest of the Queendom soon enough falls asleep too. Whats-his-name, the flying younger brother of Maca, passes away. A bearyena appears! Fish kills his rabbil and runs to help, but is already too tired. Nelik takes it down all by himself, with no injuries. Fish, eager to woo this pretty female that goes by the name of Yarrow, collects some berries. Yarrow laughs, leaps to the spot beside him, and collects even more berries, to show him collecting isn't very special.

Sunray II is born. OH BOI Ahana has been takennn phew, her brother Mukukir got her out all by himself. The Queen awkwardly leave Yarrow to be taken care of by Nelik. Nelik shows his neice how to crack open a nut (he may not have the cracking ability to do it, but he's seen others do it). Kotka and SUnray both pass away. 😧

Ugly rogue, who is dead, Sparrow, who is female and dead, and Raindrop, who is female (though she is alive).

Raindrop and Ram are born to Isella and Tigerlily, respectively. Prince Birch unfortunately passes away beside his pregnant mate. Queen Relen (at first I typed Amethyst, they're so similar!) gives birth to yet another set of twins. The royal family gathers around the Queen (except for Naki, he was too far away) to hear her final words. She tells them that, if her final child is a female, she will be the next Queen. If they are female twins, or if the child(ren) is(are) male, then the tribe shall vote on which of the children becomes Queen. And... a prince is born, and a Queen's reign ends. Who will be the new Queen? Vote in the comments because I'm too lazy to make a poll! The choices: Chocolate Chip Cookie, Rakira, Korpipi CCC (Chocolate Chip Cookie) wants to explore the savanna; if she was queen when the tribe moved islands, they would go to the Savannah. Though, of course, if she dies before then, her children may decide to explore the savannah as well. Rakira, given her great strength, might even try to take down the Defender Bear. She would recruit any armored creature with strength to accompany her to where the Defender Bear lives,a nd take it down to bring a great feast upon her Kingdom. Korpipi would most likely turn out to be a gentle soul, seeing as she has less strength than her twin, and would most likely grow up a little bullied by her sisters, as they have big great brown spots, while hers are so hard to see, they might as well not be there. Korpipi may bring back the peace between Nicheling and Crabbit, or perhaps make a new peace between Nichelings and another creature. As the Kingdom votes, Isella passes away, leaving an orphan in her wake. If Rakira reigns, Meelsi will surely accompany her to the battle against the Defender Bear.

Queen Skye proclaims that they shall journey north to the grassland port as soon as Princess Sparrow can fly. Her subjects follow her lead. The older creatures stay behind. Okay so remember when i though Naniw as pregnant with a Rogue Male's child? It was actually Snowbringer's and their kid is beautiful wowie Stagpus is attacked by his second leech,a nd has to go to Meredith for help. She plucks off the leech and licks his wound, and Stagpus gets a little crush on Meredith. Maybe they'll be mates one day..? Lilly meets Acorn, and though Lilly can't stay with him long, and Acorn is soon to pass away, they fall in love and Lilly become pregnant, though she doesn't tell Acorn for fear that she'll get him sick if she stays with him any longer. Stagpus and Meredith become mates, and Meredith tells Skye that she is pregnant. Skye is happy for them, and tell them she is pregnant, too, so Meredith's child will have an Aunt her age. Nani, Acorn, and Laki all pass away at once. Lilly is overwhelmed with grief; her child will never know it's father or grandmother. Stunning finds a female named Scorpi. It's love at first sight, and Scorpi is soon pregnant; unfortunately due to, er unknown (AKA I tried killing her but then decided to keep her) injuries, she will never meet her child. Scorpi gives birth and dies. her son is named Deathbringer (anyone want to guess what books I just read?) because his birth brought a Bearyena to him.

(Now we are past what I had originally posted that was erased) Yellow Zebra dies. Sunny mourns the loss of her mate, knowing that she will soon join him, but is comforted by her sons. Stagapus is born. (Stag + Platypus) Princess Lilac and Platy pass as a pack of Ramfoxes invade. Nobody is hurt but the ramfoxes. A Balance Bear appears! Willow and Parakeet go to kill it. Fleerb passes away. Sunny and Yellowtail die from old age. Leaf mourns her mate, but knows she will join him quite soon. The Bear is killed! 30 food is added to the stores. Also, it may seem that this much food is not needed, but in the harder islands we might not be able to collect any food at all. Twig and Queen Sky become mates. (Making Twig King.) Parakeet romances Willow, and she happily agrees to be his mate as she stares into his beautiful fan of feathers. Meanwhile, Princess Laki and Prince Stunning fall in love, despite their immunity genes being exactly the same. At first Laki didn't want to have children for fear that they would be sick, but Stunning convinced her to have at least one or two children. Leaf and Starflight pass away. Poor Starflight never even got a mate... (So, i wrote the above a while ago, and some things happened after that that i didn't write down and it's been a while so I'm just gonna go off of what I'd screenshotted) This threesome finds a Walrus Deer and chase after it. ROGUE MALE ATTACK!! I THINK SHE WAS ATTACKED BY THE ROGUE MALE TOO! AHH! Pretty baby Sick child Her parents fear that they would have another sickly child if they continue having children. The pretty Princess Meredith is born! Unfortunately she cannot fly, but she is pretty nonetheless. I'm trying to get it to where only royalty has violet eyes. Also, from now on nichelings can't become princes/princesses unless they are a direct descendant of the Queen, nor may be Queen unless in the case of an emergency (like when Queen Izra was accidentally made a sacrifice to Bluebird Bear (a bluebird who is the god of all Bluebirds)... Little But Strong Bear was not happy about that. I breed some females with some males. Pheonix II has to mate with somebody, but unfortunately she has to risk it because all the males share immunities with her. King Burd dies, but the throne still belongs to Queen Armored Lady, who is on her way to the port with her son, but it's taking a while cause they can't move very well and keep getting cold (tho they have a buddy now to keep them warm). Off we go! Guess where we're gonna go! Grassy port, obviously! The babies are born. All will be left on this island, as two have Toxic Body, none have active Armored Body, and one is sick. I forgot that Pheonix II had kids so i bred her with her son oopsie Queen Armored Lady finally died and gave birth to her final child, QUEEN JOI! (named after another nicheling I once had) Phenoix II had her final child, Goldenshild. We'll be taking her with us, since we have room and she has some useful genes. The tribe leaves the tiny island, arriving here! Another Whale Island port! My plan: Breed in Armored Body, Platypus Beak/Cracker Jaw, Bearyena Claw, and Ram Horns. Pick out the best and only the best creatures. Take the very best Nichelings to Whale Island. Run through it quickly and not waste time. Only breed when a creature is about to die, so that nobody has to been left behind (and Phoenix doesn't try to kill us). Got to First Snow again to get more Ancient genes. Run through First Snow, just like Whale Island. Go to a harder island a Die (as in, kill because they're useless) is born, but his younger sister is desirable to receives the name of Meadow. Twins are born, both desirable. Thron (i misspelled Thorn so I'm gonna stick with it) and Poppy. Platypus Beak is unlocked. Right now the main genes being focused on are Armored Body and Bearyena Claw. I'm gonna try and stay low on creatures, that way I can go faster with breeding. Goldenrod is born (it was originally Weed, but I changed it) okay byee probably gonna do a challenge thingy

So, ages later. The tribe already moved to the next island, but I forgot to take a picture before we moved in. Anyways, Lime had another kid (his previous mate was Flax, one of Milday's twins, but Flax just passed away), and has Platypus Beak, compliments of Jungla. Except she has black eyes on her melanistic body, so she's really creepy. Thus, her name is Beaky Nightmare. I think i might go with weird names like that for the next generation(s). Aren't I so creative? Whoo! New wanderer to breed! His only (actually) bad traits are recessive Shortsighted Eyes and slightly bad fertility. Also, still rockin those names. Then we met his brother! What? Carviorous plant? Pfff. (Don't worry, i got Very Spotty out before any damage was taken.) I'm getting really creative.

A new wanderer was found: Lemon! With Lemon and Fish, I'm starting a new line of creatures: Blind, big-nosed, spiky-bodied scouts. (When I can, I'll give them Big Ears, too) These creatures, when paired with a normal-sighted one, will be able to smell and hear food and predators! Welcome little Lara to the Scouting line! Woah, I didn't realize Bluebirds were that big in comparison to Nichelings until now... (also, I have no idea whose bones those are) TO BE CONTINUED after I eat lunch

As the baby was born the Friendly Bearyena crossed the river to visit little Duyusiimi. Sii my joke? 😛 Tribe so far! And we're just over 200 food! That meat by Cleopatra is totally not the Friendly Bearyena's and I totally didn't kill him because I want even more food
