Lionpaw and Hawkpaw, during an assessment, find a cat their age: Her name is Maplepaw. How odd, a clan name? They offer her a spot, but she declines since she is already in a group. Maplepaw is clearly trying not to reveal too much information so, despite Lionpaw being sure she could get them to slip up, they just say their goodbyes and go back to their respective groups. They'll have to tell Piperstar about this.2 points

(ignore that its another day this is on moon 79 i just needed everyone to be awake and move) Piperstar has called this meeting for a specific reason: To address the fact that letting cleric have kits is a danger to the clan itself. Thundershine is surprised by this, not having been notified of the meeting and being a cleric's child himself. Before he can say anything, Piperstar continues on. They call for Rosefur to come forward and asks him who was his kits' dame. He hesitates to respond, saying that the dame wished to remain secret. Piperstar counters by saying that they already know who it is, and that they are going to tell the clan if he won't take responsibility. Rosefur asks why it's so important, to which Piperstar scoffs and says it's because Cannamist is a cleric and the one who birthed the kits. The cat in question freezes up as the clan looks to xem. Piperstar continues by reminding everyone that the litter had four kits, but two of them died in infancy. They claim that this is because their ancestors and the spirits were displeased by Cannamist setting aside xeir duties to have the kits and this is also why xey were ill. Petalsnow suggests that one cleric having an unfortunate litter doesn't have to mean anything, it could just be bad luck. Piperstar asks him if it is simply bad luck that Creampaw and Mallowpaw died young. Before anyone can respond, Piperstar also says that everytime a cleric's kit dies they take someone else down with them: Creampaw with Stoneclaw and Gingerblaze, Mallowpaw with Pebbletail, Hopekit with Sunnyeye. Thundershine angrily retorts that if cleric kits are cursed, then why on earth did Piperstar choose one as their deputy? The leader calmly and readily replies that the spirits only took half the kits and thusly he and Petalsnow were normal cats. Piperstar proceeds to claim that Rosefur's kits are what caused Lionpaw's illness and that it cleared up only when Hopekit was about to die. The clan is thrown into turmoil by this, divided in what to think, but eventually the superstitious side wins out: Maybe it's true? The only cats who disagree are TInybounce, Rosefur, Monkeyfoot, Thundershine and the clerics themselves. FlickerClan laws are changed, and clerics are no longer allowed to have kits. Willowmoon and Cannamist are graciously let off unpunished Some days later, Rosefur attempts to spirit away his kits, believing FlickerClan to no longer be a safe place for them. He doesn't know where to go, but anywhere is better than here. Unfortunately, he is caught and only manages to grab Dogkit before making his escape. Silverpool, his own sister, severely wounds him and he is left desperately getting away from his old home, his family, his friends, his child. He is lucky enough to find himself in MallowClan territory... Though, no one has any real experience in healing. Rosefur may still die, but at least Dogkit will be safe. Mallowstar and Pebbletail are very interested in what's going on in their old clan...2 points

Quaint may have been pretty good at hiding it but she couldn’t hide the fact she was pregnant forever and eventually the whole group had noticed. “Why didn’t you tell us?! You could have gotten hurt from pushing yourself” Shine said, her voice raising somewhat due to her concern for the fluffy nicheling. Quaint just narrowed her eyes as she slightly shifted to look at the green nicheling. “I’m not stupid, I wouldn’t push myself to that extent, I know my limits” Quaint tried to brush off Shine’s concern, not really wanting to talk about it and wishing she could’ve continued to hide it. Shine scoffed, not amused with that answer in the slightest. “Even so if you’d started having the pup and we weren’t prepared we wouldn’t even have time to make a nest or anything to help” Shine continued as she stood to her full height, which Quaint just watched with an unconcerned expression on her face. Show was watching everything with a concerned expression as he didn’t exactly know what to do or if he should interfere at all with this whole argument or if it’d be best to stay silent while they worked it out. Sway was almost queasy with stress, wondering if this could have been prevented if she had told everyone or if it would’ve made things even worse. But she didn’t really have any choice as it had been made for her by the passage of time. “Fine! If you wanna not trust your own group than go right ahead” Shine eventually scoffed before turning around and stalking off, leaving a deathly silence in her wake. “…I’m gonna go check on her” Show eventually spoke before all but scurrying off in the direction Shine had headed. Sway opened her mouth before shutting it and turning around, wanting to be away from other nichelings for the moment after that whole ordeal. Quaint didn’t react simply curling up and staring into the distance as she digested Shine’s parting words. (Forgot like 2 screenshots whoops-) - Show followed the direction Shine went in until he ended up on the sandy shore, noticing some paw prints left in the sand. He quickly followed the trail until he saw the green nicheling sitting near the waves with an angry expression etched onto her face. He hesitated for a moment before approaching Shine and sitting next to her. Shine lifted her head to give Show a glance of acknowledgement before returning her gaze to the waves ahead of them. Show idly wiped a paw across the sand beneath him as he tried to gather his words to form a decent sentence that wouldn’t make Shine’s mood any worse. “So uh, yeah?” Show’s attempt of a sentence didn’t work in his favor even though he’d tried to think about his words first. Shine simply shook her head with a frustrated sigh as she recalled the events that’d just occurred minutes before. “Quaint always tries to think of the rest of the group and tries to help but now that she would need help she hypocritically refuses to accept it” Shine tried to explain her frustrations to Show as she knew he was surely concerned considering the way she had walked off. Show’s expression turned to one of understanding as he realized why Shine seemed so mad about the whole thing, it wasn’t because Quaint had a pup with an unknown nicheling but because she wouldn’t let anyone else help her with anything. But he didn’t dare interupt in case she had more worries to air. “It never changes! Ever since we’ve been a group she’s always been ‘the leader’ and wants everyone to lean on her without relying on anyone herself, I just…” Shine trailed off with a sigh but continued what she was saying “I just wish she’d let us help, I wish she’d let me help so she knows she doesn’t have to deal with everything herself. She deserves a break for once” Shine finished her thoughts as she raised a paw to wipe at her face as if she could just wipe away her problems as easily as a few grains of sand. Show waited a few beats to ensure there wasn’t more, not wanting to interrupt her thought process, before deciding to try and think of a way to soothe Shine’s worries. But he couldn’t exactly disagree with her statements, Quaint does have quite the problem of being a bit too independent when it came to her own issues and problems, preferring to solve it quickly and by herself rather than leaning on those who love her and care for her well-being. “She is pretty stubborn, but maybe we could try to subtly help her with the stuff she needs help with?” Show’s sentence started boldly but lifted more into a question at the end as he didn’t have a specific plan but more of a general idea to try and get Quaint to accept some help. Shine seemed to mull over his words as she squinted towards the ocean. “We could try I suppose” Shine eventually said with a shrug, not believing this would work but hoping there was a chance nonetheless. Show perked up as he heard her response. “We’ll help her how we can” Show said his agreement, in better spirits now that there was an idea of what to do instead of a cloud, unknown future with uncertainty. - Turns out Quaint would be having the pup much sooner than anyone had thought. The day the pup was had everyone had gathered with intense curiosity, Soar had been around when it happened, which he was pleased about seeing the pup. The pup was given the name Strike, a name Quaint gave no explanation for. She has light brown fur with darker brown markings, basically an inverse of her mom, but her markings were quite different and she had a paw with sharp claws. Quaint was definitely not the only one who’d gotten instantly attached as all the gathered nichelings seemed to share a softness with the presence of the newest addition to the group. “Who’s the other parent of this pup?” Show spoke the words that had at least crossed the mind of the nichelings gathered, well except for one who’d known the answer already, making the attention turn from little Strike over to her mother instead. Quaint let out a small sigh, having expected the question but being a bit stunned to have it posed so suddenly. She took a few moments to gather her words and thoughts to arrange them carefully. “The father is a nicheling outside of the group, but he won’t be helping raise the pup as he has no interest in being part of a group nor fatherhood” Quaint explained in a more formal, detached tone that implied that she held no strong emotional ties to the other nicheling who’d helped bring forth Strike’s existence. Sway let out a small scoff at hearing that, feeling it was quite rude but ultimately decided to stay out of it. The way it was handled was Quaint’s choice and Sway may have eavesdropped on a conversation but she didn’t know her dynamic with the other nicheling in its entirety. “Well the pup will surely be raised well in a group like this” Soar spoke up as he lifted his gaze to glance around the nichelings gathered. “You say that like you’re not a piece of it” Show said with a slight snort, but the words shocked Soar. Soar looked at Show with bewilderment, as if he couldn’t believe the words he was saying. Sway, noticing his expression, decided to chime in with her own words. “You are, the only reason you haven’t ‘officially’ been invited is because Quaint hasn’t found a perfectly formal and professional way to do so” Sway’s words caused the fluffy nicheling’s head to snap up and look at her with a mildly offended look at the way she worded it, yet she didn’t speak up to deny the claim which spoke volumes. Soar looked around with shock, trying to find if there was a nicheling who seemed doubtful of those words. But when he found none he realized it was true, they’d accepted him as part of the group even without a formal invitation or a special way of showing it. “Well I wouldn’t put it like that” Quaint said as she shot Sway a look, which Sway merely grinned at, before turning back towards Soar to continue speaking “but I do agree you’ve helped with a lot and interacted quite well with the group so I’d like to give you an official invitation to join the group and stay here, if you wish” Quaint may have tried to keep it formal anyways but a slight note of genuine earnestness had slipped into her tone despite her best efforts. Soar finally stopped being frozen in place and took a breathe. “If you truly don’t mind, I’d love to take you up on that offer” Soar tried to keep a completely relaxed and casual tone but he was slightly tearing up and his voice gave a small wobble as he spoke the words. The rest of the nichelings seemed happy, in their own ways. “WHOO! Finally” Sway said in an excited cheer as if she’d been waiting for this her entire life. Show beamed at Soar with an excited nod of agreement. And Shine simply gave him a nod of approval, not a huge gesture but fitting for Shine. The rest of the day was filled with cheer at both the new life and the new member of the group.1 point

First- why does wc go on so long? (Fell free to disagree and write an essay over how wrong I am!) (Spoilers for maybe arcs 1-3) okay so.. I’ve read arc 1 and arc 2… bought arc three, got 5 pages in, stopped reading. THERES JUST TO BIG OF A GAP IN THE BOOKS! I can’t connect with… jay kit or whatevs… I heard all the spoilers and I know this arc was about magic cats which kinda defeats the fact that wc is realistic-ish cat drama. Fine… cats don’t talk… wc is alr unrealistic… they have magic cats in cat heaven who let sisters read each others minds! That’s unrealistic! but magic….? I’m out. Some of y’all warrior cats fans are going harass me and murder me after this /j but I think that my statements should be AGKNOWLEGED- (oh know I just became a Karen-*-notes at the bottom) I already know (VERY BAD SPOILER BEWARE) that leafpool is the ‘three’s mother, and that one of the siblings doesn’t have these powers it’s another cat so yeah that kinda ruins it for me if that spoiled the entire arc for you I am so sorry rn… BUT MOVING ON! I haven’t ever taken a test, so don’t quote me on this, but my mom says I might have ADHD, so maybe it is my short attention span, but I need a relatively short arc because I feel like long, drawn out, plots that have been running straight for 20 years is really boring. (Reading this is really boring probably) I need a brand new plot, moving on from the old one! Also I think the fast change of arc one leading to a whole new setting threw me off because I hadn’t gotten used to the original territories, which really I thought I would spend more time in. But then all that ‘setting up the camp’ crap in arc 2 really made me bored. But anyways, sorry if ANY of this was offensive, I just neeed to get my rants out sometimes so yeah! AGAIN- this was not made to be offensive *not to be offensive Karen is not racist that’s just what I call annoying people. Just bc ur name is Karen doesn’t mean you are annoying!1 point

Cabi was picking berries again. The tribe was safe, but hers was a pretty boring existence. It wasn't that she didn't like it here, it's just that adventure was more her thing. There was little of that here. Cabi grimaced slightly. Well, Deat provided a bit of excitement. In the bad way. No one really liked him, but he hadn't done anything wrong yet, so they couldn't exactly kick him out. Before Cabi could pick the last berry, she heard commotion. She walked carefully towards it, but realised it was King's and Fess' voices, so she bounded the rest of the way. 'Oh gods! Is it that hard for you to lie down?!' Fess said angrily, but there was worry in her voice. She firmly pressed a paw to King's head, and pushed him down onto a nest that he was standing in. 'I told you, I'm fine!' he said back, but the usual laziness was gone out of his voice. His voice sounded slurred and unclear. Fess ignored him. 'Stay here. I'll find it.' she said determinedly, slowly taking her paw away from King, as if they had done this before and King had tried to get up. 'You can't see, Fess.' King said, a bit more worry in his tone. 'You'll be all alone outside the tribe territory.' 'But I can smell, genius. And I'll be quick.' she reassured him. Cabi decided it was time to offer help. 'Sorry for interrupting, I couldn't help but overhear you guys talking. Maybe I could help you find what you're looking for?' Cabi said with a grin. Both King and Fess looked relieved. 'Yes please. If you could. I am looking for a healing fruit, because this idiot ate who knows what, and now he's sick.' the teasing tone that Fess and King usually had with each other was gone. Fess was obviously very worried for him. 'I'm fine...' King mumbled again, but Fess just arranges the nest he was lying on so he would be comfortable. Fess turned around and set out for outside the territory, with Cabi on her heels. 'When I was still a wanderer I found a healing fruit nearby, follow me!' Cabi smiled. 'I think-' Fess started to say, but cut herself off. She cleared her throat and spoke quickly. 'Of course. Lead the way.' Fess was still obviously unaccustomed to taking orders, instead of giving them, but she was getting better at it. The smell of the fruit interrupted both their thoughts. 'Found it!' Fess smiled and rushed forward. Her smile turned to a frown quickly. 'Do you smell that?' Cabi sniffed the air for a moment, and noticed it too. It was an old scent, but it smelled like.... Deat? What would he be doing here? 'The fruits still here. He must have taken it and it grew back. But why would he want it?' Cabi mused. Fess picked the fruit, and turned to walk back home. 'I don't know. Maybe he was sick. But then again, it's Deat.' Fess shuffled slightly. 'I'm sure he was just sick, but I can't help but be worried.' 'I'm sure it's fine.' Cabi said. They both shook it off by the time they reached home. Fess strode over to King. She gave the fruit to him, and he ate it. 'You look better but you still need some rest. I'll be off!' Cabi smiled. Fess smiled as well, in Cabis direction. 'Thanks Cabi.' Fess said. King muttered his thanks as well before he fell asleep. Fess sarcastically rolled her eyes at him, but she looked happy that he was unhurt. As Cabi walked back to the bush she couldn't help but wonder about Deat. ~ Mira sighed as a Dodomingo, yet again, stole her nest. This was the third time this week. She batted at it, but all it did was make it scream and nest itself further in. 'Having trouble?' a familiar voice said from behind her. Lupo sat down beside her, an easy grin on his face. 'It's not like this happens rarely.' Mira said drily, gesturing at the nest. Lupo tried to chase the dodomingo away as well, but he also failed. 'You can borrow my nest if you like?' he said eventually. Mira smiled at him. She wasn't getting any younger and she decided it was time to tell him. 'Lupo, I was wondering if you could be my mate?' she asked calmly. Lupo's fur almost turned red, but he smiled. 'Sure Mira.' The two of them walked together down to the tree, away from the dodomingo screeching. (ultra sidecharacters get married yay) ~ Cheri breathed in, and out. She had dealt with feeling guilty for the past few days, and decided it was time to talk. She spotted Cane sitting by the ocean, idly picking at grass. 'Hey.' she said. He jumped slightly, but recognised her voice. 'Hey.' he replied dully. He didn't seem angry now. Cheri wanted to say something more, but couldn't hold back. She just wanted to get straight to the point. 'So, about me telling you about your mom, Haran, I didn't mea-' Cane quickly cut her off. 'It's fine. Really. Turns out Lupo knew, but wouldn't tell me and King because he didn't want to ruin any memories we had of her. King was pretty mad, but I guess I understand. I was mad at you at first, but thanks for telling me.' Cane finally looked up at her. He was genuinely sad. Cheri went and sat down beside him. 'You're welcome, but I should have been.... More careful about the way I said it. Sorry.' Cheri said quietly. Cane nodded, looking back out to sea. Cheri continued softly. 'Sometimes creatures we care about can be kind to us, because they love us, and since you love them back, you can't see all the bad things they've done. Life isn't black and white. No one is just bad and just good. Some creatures can be cruel and kind, and depending on the creature you talk to, they could be amazing or they could be disgusting.' 'You're right.' Cane murmured. 'I'm glad I know now at least' Cane gave a weak smile. 'Don't get yourself bogged down. Focus on the now.' Cheri smiled, and Canes smile became more genuine. Cheri got up and stood there for a few moments longer before walking off, leaving Cane so he could think.1 point

A few days later, Andromeda's and Shee's kit was born. He was quiet and calm for a kit, and they named him Kendyll. But Kendyll's first experience of the world was an unpleasant one, as a bearyena attacked just a few days after he was born. It immediately went for him. Cabi was nearby, and when she heard Meda scream she immediately ran to her. Cabi threw herself at the bearyena even though she was one of the worst at fighting. She tore at its hide, but it just batted her away, and she fell against a rock, with a scream. Shee and Meda stood in front of their son, and the bearyena immediately went for Meda. It clawed her side, but the two creatures fought back. But there was only two of them, and they were losing. Suddenly a blur of red fur and claws threw itself at the bearyena, distracting it. It was Randi, and he was fighting it almost by himself. Neoki stood at the sidelines. She couldn't fight. But I can't watch my brother get torn to pieces either. She stood up on shaky legs, then she yelled at the bearyena. 'Come get me you brute!' She yelled, and faked a limp. The bearyena saw that she was a much easier meal than a protected kit, and ran to her. Neoki broke out into a sprint and ran into the grasses, the bearyena following her. Her breath came sharply, and after only a minute her legs already felt as if they were going to drop off. She stopped and looked around, panicked. The bearyena was right behind her, she only had a few seconds to think up a plan. Think Neoki. Think. She saw a tree. A cave. A twig snapped. The bearyena was here. The bearyena sniffed around. Neoki was not in the clearing. It caught a scent, and the sight of red fur up in a tree. It licked it's muzzle and climbed the tree easily. It tore at the fur, but there was nothing there other than a small amount of red fur. No Neoki. The bearyena growled in frustration and looked around a bit more before giving up. Randi ran into the clearing a few minutes later. 'Neoki! Sister!' he called. He was close to tears. Only silence answered. 'Here! I'm here, I'm okay.' Neoki called. She emerged out of the cave covered in a black mud. 'I managed to trick the bearyena. It couldn't smell me because of the mud.' 'You could have died!' Randi yelled, wrapping Neoki in a big hug. 'You should have just let me handle it. You're my sister. I don't want anything to hurt you. You can't fight, I have to protect you.' 'Randi, maybe I can't fight but that doesn't mean I can't protect myself. Don't worry, I'm smarter than I look.' Neoki laughed, trying to ease the mood. Randi smiled back, but he was still worried. The two walked back to find Kendyll safe and sound. But Randi was not easily reassured. His sister could have died. Neoki was all he had left. He would never let anyone hurt her. Never.1 point
