Thanks for the shout out but I only mentioned it again because Philo liked the idea a long time ago. My take on it is the eyes would have been a sign of distemper / anger but that is more of a myth. They could get the "crazy eye" from a bearhyena or rouge and you wouldn't want that gene because the niche would scoot away out of position like it's half wild. Like a wolf & dog mix. The movement and everything is a lot of extra work so glad they still went with the eyes.

I get that blind is a gene but not why you would want it as a trait that can be passed on by choice. Who would choose the blind or x fertility gene and why? Also, are you planning on making eye color genes locked until you invite an animal with that gene to the tribe? Don't have to just curious. Take care,

No comment, just thought butterflies were delicate so couldn't take much damage, especially since it's the body not just the wings The body would be regular strength if it was a beetle because they have a hard exoskeleton but still "squishy" easily squashed / killed. If it has like 6 legs for defense that would make a difference. Love the idea and the new peacock feathers. Take care,

Really like the art the idea and the fact that it's poisonous . Would it have a "soft body"? Even though it's poisonous it can only be hit a few times?

Thank you for the gene pics Dukro looks like Alf lol. The 80's tv show Alf Ever think of putting a statue or rock instead of an ice block? Then you can put a swimming gene at the bottom of the water in other biomes. just an idea, not something that has to be added.

Three toed sloth niche. A half lizard half bird mix, scales and feathers, and a terradactel niche. Already have the big teeth for a saber tooth in the ice.

What if there was a time limit like 3 days to give birth or the mom miscarries causing health loss, kinda ties in with the miscarriage idea, but with option to miscarry. I still think the x birth gene should go towards miscarriages, not not getting prego, that would really change the game. I agree these are kinda dark subjects but nature is brutal and glad you brought them up.

Think if you put an all black flying niche with the big nose gene and the big ears gene it looks a lil like the drawing but a lot like Fruit bats or Fruit fox which can fly during the day. All the devs have to do is turn the sprite upside-down and move the perch to a branch so it looks like it's hanging. Love the idea

I had thought the gene with the x through it could be for fertility could be a miscarriage gene, so the mother would get pregnant but chance of loosing it, the 1 fertility could take the place of the x so mating is harder in general. Mothers do have health issues due to this but not always, so a baby skeleton could be in the nest for 2 days as a problem for the pack instead of just the mom .

I really like the foxes but think it opens an option for red pandas, just color the fox red with lines on the tail. Red pandas are endangered, and it would be cool if the WWF sponsored the game for bringing awareness, just an idea. Bamboo island or plants

Mystic, Totally agree its not a big deal and am glad it was added for sure, plus not sure how hard it would be to add but it would be cool it they just drew a circle in an oval on the top of each tail feather. Kinda simple but I don't know how to program so don't know how much work it would be. Were you the person who posted lonely ladies before? Maybe you should see if it gets some votes, still think it's a good idea. Did you see they might add pink dodomingos?

Actually talking about the niche tail looking more like a turkey tail than peacock because peacocks have a distinct eye pattern on the top of their tail feathers, and peacock feathers are usually longer but that can be left to the artists design. Plus the sound of the niche call on the stump kinda sounds like a turkey. Really thought there was a European peacock without the eye pattern but couldn't find it, and thought the dodomingo was a European grouse.

I tried to find a Swiss Peacock vs American Peacock thinking there is a difference but couldn't find one. I think you have mistaken a turkey for a peacock. The sounds your peacock makes in the game are that of a turkey also. I would show links but every video I've seen on Youtube on peacocks show they look and sound way different from a turkey. Not saying make a peacock or change anything but you might want to rename things.

Mutant fruit. 1 of the fruit bushes that only has one fruit can activate the gene so only the animal that ate it can produce mutated offspring. Maybe the fruit could glow and doesn't grow back?

Like the idea but would add the star of Adam challenge where you have to get the star gene to the end as a medium challenge, then get the star to the end without inbreeding for a hard level challenge. It's a pain.

I like the idea and would like to see a water enemy like a turtle. think it would be kinda easy to program, just take the spikes off and leave the shell with a turtle head. Penguins might be cool because different types can be found in different climates, hot and cold. They are water and land problems that slide as an attack from tiles away.

Either falling apart or flooding. Maybe one end of the island starts sinking/ flooding first and you have to get to the other side, or there is higher ground on the other side. If there is flooding the rivers would also rise and cause problems. A timer could be helpful.?

Ability for a niche to have 2 different eye colors could occur when mating with a bear-hyena. The bad part is 2 different colors can be a sign of distemper in the wild, so maybe the niche is stronger but also scoots away from the pack.? It might also have to be a certain distance away from other pack members or will attack?

I like the long or short hair option and think feathers will be added with flying niches unless they are bats. Also maybe scales could be added but only works with certain genes so the devs don't have to rewrite a bunch of code but not sure. What about mange for a sick niche or wild animal that is sick?
