Haha!
My favorites have been 10 and 13, just because I LOVE pink nichelings too much, and also they're still cute without pink. Number 4 is in a close 3rd, though, I mean, Platy beak and Water Body is my 2nd favorite combination, but when that's added with those ram horns, the double nimble fingers, and the beautiful colors... Oh boy. Ohhhhhh boy

Well, in other news.. I've decided to start putting more roleplay into this, for no particular reason other than none of my other tribes are roleplay based. Oops.
So yeah, everyone has ~Feelings~ and they ~Do stuff~ now, so ye
Also can I not that I'm awful at roleplaying so this is still, with me trying my hardest, not completely roleplayed.
Anyways to start off Reloko died.
Ah, well.
Anyways stuff happens yada yada yada now we're off the island !! Hoping for jungle !! (Oh and also I bred Parlu with Nokiraw. Fun fact: all of our alive females other than Ellaai have I immunity, and our leader, Vankirta, also has I immunity, and, and, Ronuiw is sick with double I immunity!!! Wowee!!)

However, I will allow them to breed in the savanna biomes (ONLY), just so our creatures don't die.
Aaaand we've already found a healing plant! I bet Iwropri was quite shocked when he found that.. (This is how you roleplay, right?)
I decided to give it to sickly Ronuiw. The tribe knew he had an uncurable sickness, but they know they can at least be generous and lengthen it, even if only a little. Ronuiw was hesitant to take it at first but he knew his tribe cared about him and wanted him to be as healthy as could be, so he ended up eating the fruit..
Is that good roleplay???? Ha, thought so.
Ellaai was heading towards the savanna, in hopes of the tribe being able to survive better. And whaddya know, she immediately stumbles into a nest !!
Luparfa is ecstatic and runs to tell the whole tribe they found a nest !!!!!! Parlu was obviously the most excited and started heading over a quick as her little webbed hindlegs could take her. Gosh, this feels so weird to do.
And Ronuiw hasn't actually eaten the plant yet, he's still at the port, but hey, he's all grown up now !!
OK hey finally ate the darn plant woohoo
And here's the new bab, Nuraw !!
He could be a future leader if he put his fishy mind to it.
Aaand rip Parlu, you always looked cool
Oh and also she was the new baby's mother so that's extra sad. At least Nuraw still has his father, Nokiraw, I guess.

I feel like Iwropri is like, a foster father to Nuraw (since his father clearly doesn't really care about him).

I feel like Iwropri would be surprised and scared once Nuraw jumped head first into the water, but then would be fine with it because he realizes Gills can breathe underwater. Oh and also Muraw found a shrub bush to impress Iwropri even further !!

Hmm.. I feel like Ronuiw and Ellaai should breed... I mean, they've been eachother's companies for like 10 days.. I only feel like it's fitting.
Anyways here's the Zura tribe now:
They're doing pretty good... Almost too good.
Oh and also if you thought I was joking at my earlier statement about Immunity Gene I's...
And only two of them (Ellaai and Nokiraw) are still alive!! Also, one of them was a Rogue Male.
Oh heck.. I just realized Ellaai and Nokiraw can breed... Ohhh heck

This time, it is Resime: the rabbil Goddess, who is more important than she sounds.
I feel like I spent more time on the background then on the actual nicheling.. aha.
Also Spiky Body will forever be the bane to my existence.

More info: he's the trickster/bug/glitch god because he experienced my first bug: the leech glitch. So a leech on his shoulder constantly killing him
is part of his design, but you can show that in some other way.

Yeah, I'm doing this. Mainly for two reasons:
- To find out what genes are most common. (I predict medium ears will be the most common--)
- To see what y'all think is the prettiest Eve of them all!!

Alright, we're starting off with a banger- Our first birth !!
Nokiraw, a little boy (thank god), he's already above everyone but his parents because of his horns.

We have another new face: Ellaai!

It's alright, we managed to kill it without casualties because for whatever reason it decided to move instead of attack.
Right on Burfa's bones, too. Wow.
I didn't actually mean to give birth to Iwropri here, but now that he is here, I'm not gonna banish him, because that's just mean.
Hello there
I ended up not bringing her in because of food restraints.
Oh, and if you haven't noticed, we've been slowly creeping towards the flower port in hopes of more food.
Unfortunately, for a while I forgot what immunity genes were and bred Parlu with Vankirta in hopes for a cute baby, and yes, while Ronuiw is cute, he is unfortunately sick.
Anyways, the tribe has all gone onto the ports and we are now ready to go!
And here we are! Unfortunately, we won't be able to breed on this island due to challenge rules, so Reloko won't be able to have her child, but hey, at least we'll be able to eat for once!!
And we are, current day. I'm planning on heading to the right port as soon as possible.
Anyways, this has been Taduk with the dying nichelings, tuning out!

Sorry if someone has made a challenge similar to this, I have not been here in a long time.
To start off: This challenge is story based. Your creature may have any backstory you'd like, but it is very important to have one to influence your creature's choices.
Since it is most important: You start with one creature. This creature is the "Storyteller." for most of their life, even if they find wanderers, they will live alone. However, one day, they find another creature that sparks an interest they didn't know they had, and they ask them to join them. This is the "Listener", they will listen to all the Storyteller has to tell them. The Listener has a backstory of their own, but wishes not to tell the Storyteller; they like to stay quiet. The Storyteller and the Listener may be friends or mates. If friends, they may find another creature to join them to become one of their mates. If mates, they will have only one or two children, usually late in their lives. Once both the Storyteller and Listener die (even if one of them wasn't the parent), the youngest creature in the tribe becomes the Storyteller, and if there are any other creatures, they will disband, so the Storyteller is the only one left.
Rules:
- Your creatures may travel as often as they want, but it can only be one creature; the Storyteller, as the Listener is too connected to their island to want to leave.
- (Optional) you may not add any mutations to the mutation menu, at all.
- You can not call for wanderers, you can only find naturally spawned ones.
- Any creature can have children, not just the Storyteller and the Listener.
- Rogue Male children can be thought of differently based on the story, but generally, they're treated like any other creature, and even if your creatures do hate Rogue Male children, they can still become Storyteller.
- It can be Story mode if you so choose, but if you decide to do Sandbox mode, here are the settings:

Age settings:
- Duration per age level can be anything, though I'd suggest giving them longer lifespans.
- Pregnancy duration can also be anything, preferably longer.
- Damage multipliers, again, can be anything.
Gene settings:
- Must start with one creature.
- Name, gender, rank, age, and action points can be anything you like.
- You can not remove any of the already selected Forbidden Genes, but you can add up to 5 genes in it.
- You can only put 3 genes in (including fertiity and Immunity Genes), everything else must be random.
Gameplay settings:
- You must start with 10 food and 5 nesting material.
- There is a tribe size limit between 3-6 creatures.
- You can have Blind Gene Mode if you want but you can not have Unlock All Genes on.
World Settings and Win Conditions:
- Whatever you'd like!

I've decided to start a new tribe that I (hopefully) won't give up on like all my others.. ahah.

Anyways, here's the five nichelings we have started with:
Yep. We started with all girls- much like how Seri herself started with all boys! Well, this will be fun. I love that all but one have water-related genes even though the Burning Savanna has no water. ..Anyways, here's the nichelings with their genes and names (from left to right):
Myluana. a little duckduck. She won't do well in the savanna for sure but she's pretty cute either way.
Reloko. Another duck! She probably won't ever get a mate, unless she's a good gatherer, sadly. Otherwise, she's pretty basic.
Burfa (beautiful randomly-generated name btw). Our first leader! Sadly she only has 1 attack.. Love her though.
Parlu. Not much to say about her other than she's pretty and could be a useful gatherer.
And finally, Luparfa. Her cracker jaw could be very useful, along with her youth. She has the highest attack out of anyone.. 3.

As simple as it sounds. Here are the rules:
- Your goal is to get to 100 nichelings as fast as possible.
- You must keep breeding, even if you don't have enough food to feed everyone.
- No cheating!! This means A) No console. B) No changing the age sliders. C) You can only start with two nichelings. D) You must start with 20 food and 10 nesting material. (Of course, B - D apply to sandbox mode. Oh, and also, I didn't just say "keep it to normal settings" because you can deck out your starters as much as you'd like and get rid of anything you want in the world settings.)
- You can continue to try to get as much nichelings as possible after getting 100 if you so choose.
That's it. I have yet to try it, so maybe you could say how it went for you if you choose to do this?

I looked through the 1.1.6 bugs and apparently this is a bug, so in 1.1.7 Bird and bat winged creatures can fly! Hallelujah!
