    There were several realms across a few years and most of them were in survival, it was just kind of DreamSMP style survival roleplaying with plot-relevant deaths and stuff (I think. I was just vibing in the background building a castle full of chickens and living under Cookie's house). But yeah, characters could mix well with the faction type system you had in mind

    The previous forum Minecraft realm was very RP focused I think (I was never online at the same time as the others because time zones but other people had full-on characters with stories and complex relationships)

    Oof, feel you there. I went through something similar back in... 2020 I think? The forum community really doesn't stay the same for more than a few years at a time
