[TW: animal death] Weird day. How can something be perfectly normal one day and dead the next? No external symptoms this time either, just lethargy. And a slow decline. From eating and moving to not and then dead in our arms. At least with Nebula there was something obviously wrong. With Mäyrä there was nothing, aside from less interest in leaving the cage the last few months. She wasn't old or sick, there was no reason to think we'd lose her soon. And then today she was just like that, and in a few hours it was over. We did what we could to make her comfortable, gave her painmeds and occasionally water in hopes that she might somehow get better. At least she probably wasn't in a lot of pain. This is the first time we've had a rat pass away peacefully at home. It's happened with guinea pigs and a rabbit, but with rats it usually comes down to a vet visit. (Nebula was an exception but we tried to take her to the vet too, she just didn't last the car ride there.) I'm ok. I've been through a lot of pet death and know how to deal with it, just needed a place to sort my thoughts. (I’m going to get a good grade in grieving, something that is both normal to want and possible to achieve.)

The shadows have been replaced with zombie dinosaurs, Pelta looks completely different, though funnily enough their nicheling form wouldn't look too different from now, and... is that supposed to be Ikte???? I mean, the only thing that's really changed is the horns but still I almost didn't recognize my guy

The age limit is 18 because the devs can't put that kind of responsibility on a minor, especially since mods could potentially see some pretty disturbing stuff if unpleasant people tried to join the forums

Ok, this one is more of a vague description than a funny/bad one but Five theater kids divorce then reunite in a platonic lovestory so beautiful I teared up (500+ page book)

Forgot to add that the protagonist of the first book is sick of having really weird age gaps in the relationship

(I spend a lot of time browsing the new characters page and just generally interesting tags and then bookmark pretty much every character that looks like they'd be fun to draw so that i have an easy selection to pick from. I absolutely love the new folders because now I can easily find the kind of characters I'm in the mood for)
