  1. Hey guys, I don't know if this is a bug no just a new thing I haven't accessed yet, but some of the new genes don't appear in the mutation menu, not even as 'locked' genes. I'm in Sandbox mode, on the Whale Island, which is AMAZING and seems to be running just fine, but I haven't traveled to any other Islands or invited any new tribemates in. Missing Genes: Beak (platypus is there, so this might be that gene) Scorpion Tail, and Peacock Tail. These slots do not exists while Wings/Purr Head/Antenna are all in the Menu but locked/grey. So it made me think it might be a bug that these ones are missing from the Menu.
  2. So this island could be one you get to either in Sandbox mode or as part of the endgame for Story Mode after you've found Adam's Island and unlocked all the genes. The premise is this: This is one large island and from the intro port into the center of the island is grassland/savanna. This part is generic, has some trees and bunnils and bearyeana. It isn't too hard to survive, but it also doesn't support a very large population. On each side of this grassland is a different type of biome, so this island would have to be very large. A river, or small strip of grassland, could mark the edges of the biomes. This could also be a boundry for the predators too. As many biomes as possible would be represented, with Jungle, Swamp, Savanna, and Mountain all present on a single island. The temperature details would even work because if it gets cold on the mountain there's a blizzard, while in the savanna and the Jungle your NIchelings get a break from the burning heat. The reverse is also true. The idea for this island is to start with two, or at least a small group of Nichelings, and then develop different trait lines for your Nichelings to survive in the different biomes. The food would still be shared, to help balance the difficulty, and you could have some Nichelings remain living in the center to help support the other genetic lines. You could also develop a swimming line for the ocean/rivers. There could also be a new achievement for having multiple lines survive on this island? I haven't considered how that would work, but I am open to suggestions.
  3. Yes for cold resistance ears!
  4. Maybe the scorpion tail could add Cactus picking ability?? I really like the prehensile tail too. I always thought it was sad that the medium tail doesn't add much.
  5. This would be great, more depth to the oceans, content-wise, would be amazing to make it more viable to have an entirely water bound tribe. I don't know if it's possible, once you have the genes, to have a tribe survive just in the water. I don't know if there are enough resources, and it would be awesome to be able to play that way. Oh, also! Maybe Nichelings with underwater breathing could have detrimental effects if they come on land? Either it slows them down, or it begins to kill them because they can't breath on land.
  6. I agree too! I don't like the idea of nimble fingers as cactus pickers, or at least not alone. Maybe nimble fingers plus something that gives defense like a new type of tail? Something lizard-like that can only be unlocked in the savanna, or by nichelings picking from the cactus and "learning" how.
