  1. I know for a fact that sometimes you can get creatures from genes in a big ice block. This would would similarly, where you have a slight chance of getting a creature with said gene from a rock. I figure this could be genes that are hard to get normally in biomes that contain rocks. This could also work if you all ever wanted to add new genes that are rock only in the future.
  2. All my drivers are up to date, but I still run into this from time to time. As stated before, my normal game with the same settings doesn't do this.
  3. Yeah, I usually have for males animals and plants for females. It's just due to how I name Adam and Eve to Tiger and Lily. Plus pairs sometimes have cool names if you put them together.
  4. I hate to tell you, but uninstalling and reinstalling it doesn't help. I have done it before, even deleted all my files, the glitching just comes back. :I
  5. Oh no, now it is glitching really bad! The textures for some of the symbols didn't even show up at one point and the family tree was just shaking pixels. What in the world is going on, help.
  6. I like naming my Nichlings, and I have it pretty much based on Flora and Fona, except for creatures that didn't come from the original line, and that stuff is non-living things. Like my first outsider was named Earth, while their child was named Soil. I always rename Adam and Eve to Tiger and Lily. I find it fun to have names based on a certain theme. What naming themes do you use if any? Do you have any suggestions for fun naming themes? Let me know because it feels like the more the merrier.
  7. Its quite a glitch! If it didn't move around while I was playing I would probably just deal with it, but the glitching texture moves and that hurts my eyeballs.
  8. There is a problem I am starting to have, and once I just thought it was just a hiccup due to this being an unreleased beta, until it happened again! The first time it just effected one baby Nichling and now its three. You can see the image of them below. Additional Notes: This seems to fix itself after you quit and go back to the game as you will see below here. It is also I believe of importance to note that this appears to only happen on Nichlings that have a thick pattern. I will also note that I am using the higher quality graphics settings.
  9. My tribe play is highly unorganized, but is mainly based on a name system, or at least is starting to be. Each future 'chief' has the suffix feather. I also try to limit how many Nichlings I have by having 20 at the most. I feel things are much harder to name and such if I do not do this. I am very picky about who I let in genetics wise, and will avoid any wandering Nichling that has more than one obvious problem with it. I also despise derp snout and will avoid it at all costs. I try to have Nichlings with nimble fingers as soon as possible as well, and like a diverse and healthy mix of genetics.
  10. Hello, I am Gryffbirb, but you can call me Gryff or Birb, whichever you prefer! I am a 26 year old artist that loves playing Niche to relax. I may not be the greatest player, but I have fun with it. I am so far loving what all it has to offer, including the update beta. I also will have to look into the new game you all are doing soon as well since I had no idea you all were doing another one!
