Tasting, I don't know. It's usually about consistency. There'd be more than one colour, though and you couldn't ignore it. Seeing months in colours and floating around them would be a symptom, but not associating colours. Similarly, I might taste wine with certain reds or some sounds occasionally swap over in the wrong territory, but it's not synesthesia. Synesthesia includes pretty broad ranges and is consistent. While one can fill the gaps crayons - blue!, if thoughts don't arise at the same time, it's just having a good imagination or an associative thinking style.
Examples:
-Notes have special colours. Can't see the note in a different colour
-Sees spoken words
-floating calendar
- innate properties (personalities and attributes assigned to letters and numbers). Very vague sounding, but people like that have achieved insane memory feats, such as remembering an absurd amount of digits following the well known 3.14. They usually see them in colours, but I don't understand how seeing in personalities works.
So it's extremely unlikely to be synesthesia from associations alone. People usually instantly think of something when you supply a random word.

Maybe there’s some incest in there?
They're quite unrelated, but share the same great grandmother who was blind, Indigo. Checked the tree, there are about 3 with the recessive in 60, but I, an Idiot, just wanted to know what their children would be like. It's a collection save, so they might outlive them all, but... the potential, damn it.

I'd rather not have a dead patch in the middle of the camp or Nukkir the infertile cactus merging with his namesake. That sounds really buggy for not too much benefit. Not sure about programming effort, but that would propably be the element to make or break the suggestion

It might be more beneficial to learn dominance in general. They both have a 50% of being passed on, but seeing random flips throughout the game would get annoying very fast. You'll specialise slower, less predictably and bad traits become more prominent. If your starters are random, both might be blind. That does not sound appealing.

That stuff looks vaguely toxic. I don't get how some are not repelled by blue, pink or what-shade-of-don't-eat-that! currently printed and propably 43% cardboard

Sorry, I just came home from school. The descriptions:
Violetpelt. Calm and a great negotiator, forming relationships comes naturally. However, she has horrible taste in males. Aside from that, she's as reliable as can be and a great mentor, though not fond of the limelight.
Shrewtail was not a great hunter, an inspiring leader or even reasonable fighter. He didn't play a large role in the clan, but nevertheless did his best to provide. He's a "default" background character.
Lightwing suffers from main character syndrome. She became a medicine cat, as the clan required water body on them to collect supplies. That wasn't an accident, but rather a very planned child. Who then had an accident involving a crippled paw. Expect the worst possible combination from crossing Jayfeather's personality with Cinderheart's. Someone really did not like that fate. She would be a lot less bitter as a warrior, though.
Brightwhisker is quite overbearing with a "push or be pushed over" policy. She was the deputy of a young Clan and died in war she had started. She does care about others, a lot, but it's either too much or not enough, swinging from overprotectiveness to stone hearted coldness. Brightwhisker is about the most likely to resolve issues by fast action (and to have caused them in the first place...). Useful in a war, but not the most even tempered cat.
Violetpelt and Lightwing do not know each other or the other cats. Brightwhisker and Shrewtail come from the same save with opposing clans. He's about one generation older and died in an ambush.

Deer are also incredible common in Austria. In Middle School, we even visited a relatively tame herd. There are locations where you can get close to them, but I don't believe they let you pet any.

May I rant about Niche?
I go to first snow in story mode. There is one ice block. I crack it open.
I get a hammer tailed female.
With spiky body.
Nothing unlocks.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I DESERVE TO USE THE CONSOLE FOR THIS
I've never gotten spiky body from an ice block. Sounds like a really, really awful bug

Oof. I'm not sure if you'd like any of these, but here are a few choices
Violetpelt. Lead a pretty standard life in her birth tribe, though she was known for her great beauty. Her mother was half-clan. You can see this in her lean body, but she did miss runner leg.
Tiny/Medium, v. Thick/Thin, A/B, White Chestnut with White pattern. CI immunity, full fertility. Recessive saber teeth..
She and her sister here have the same pattern genes, but in different Shapes.
Tiny x2, v. thick, medium. White D pattern on grey fur. She has recessive peacock tail and melanism. Same for Thawdapple, but she carries purrsnout. I K immunity, full fertility.
Lightwing. Water body was a requirement for healers.
Heavykit/foot.
One of my 4 warrior starters.
Quite pretty. Not overpowered and with no ancient genes.
For a more watery-clan

Realization is the first step to remission, though I don't see how your marriage to 322 Dragon Tears is related to that
