I remember that biology teacher from back in middle school. Our entire grade consisted of two posters. He would glance at them, that's it. Sounds neat unless you're his chosen victim, then prepare to hold a presentation and be quizzed every lesson. The poor guy took it with pride and was propably the most skilled kid at public speaking I'd met. Didn't reflect in his grade, though. Another was way back in grade school. She had her favourites who were always good and then the black sheep. At times, she got physically violent and doled out other punishments against the law, such as looking a student in class for two hours, alone. These were always reserved for the "bad" kids. Bad kids were either intelligent or otherwise threatening. The most ironic was the narcissistic psychology teacher. Some things sound really bad on paper, like getting up close at students faces and calling them stupid, over and over again. Or faking bad grades and performance. Not to mention sabotage, like having a depressed student who missed class learn 3x the material (150 pages). However, unpredictability soon becomes very predictable. It's like seeing a toddler in the body of a 50+ year old, throwing tantrum after tantrum with students and adults alike. Somehow, the teachers at my new school are surpringly sane and nice. There's hope out there at least for some high schools.

Being an impulsive idiot, I added a whole list before testing in general. However, how do you tell if they are working in the first place? There's no check-list. Still, I completed some items, but, well, nothing. Is there a message only when all conditions are met? Or should there be a checklist or something? What happens when, say, generations must be equal to 3, but you also need to breed for 5 strenght? Does the nicheling have to be alive at that time, or just born priorly?

New Version 1.1.8 is now on the test

I don't like the new design, but not because of action points. The added empty space for babies seems awkward, with teens doing no better. The new one is meant to show you the whole animal, but the family tree does just that, only better. So why use the portrait? It could be vastly improved by reducing said empty space. This would still show most or all of the animal, but without the massive awkwardness of floating in mid-air. Some might not like full body portraits on principle, but this would surely reduce opposition. On a personal level, I mostly play Niche on laptop. That means the baby's features can't be deciphered from the portrait anymore when it comes to low contrast patterns. Aside from usefulness, the proportions are a major problem. However, as with derpsnout, one might get used to it, but that seems quite hard as of now. -
