  1. To give my pantheon more live, I added spirits and minor gods. Dawnbringer is one of them, a goddess of beauty and light. Their island is doused in eternal darkness, but every once in a while, the sun rises. Bird beak and brown eyes? This may be an unpopular choice, but I don't get many nichelings with either. But her velvet red gown is beautiful, as are the rare markings around her eyes. In her first live, she was Snowgust, a too little bird from the mountains. Just as the iceblocks melted, she was swept away in icy talons. Are her markings scarrs from that encounter? Scourge is the male candidate. Born to a challenge tribe, they had to abide by the genes the gods provided. In the jungle... predictably, they all died. Still, he protects those who wander those shorelines alone. The spirit's only enemy are defender bears, for their shallow understanding of conflict. The apes he can forgive, but those slothful "counter bullys" know nothing of survival.
  2. In this new order, everything was made out of wood.
  3. Maplebush and Ratberry. This now is the new moniker my Mapleshade has been cursed with from the grave, by his dear beloved younger sister, Nightshade -- err, Ratberry. No, but really, I love the generator. Having some unusual names is a lot more fun than the same variations over and over again. With bug-free console commands, giving them the traits should be extra easy and guarantee more diversity.
  4. Cool! What's your favourite science of the 4 groups?
  5. I'm disappointed that you haven't mastered the ability in real time without moving a muscle. To train, stand in front of a mirror and visualise murder
  6. Jiggly schools or House Sam would be an amazing Miss Niche
  7. That's not exactly an inside joke, but people do stupid stuff when they're tired. Personally, I mix two words together when I couldn't decide on what to say. A friend just starts dipping dangerously into Denglisch. My mother, though... Being screamed at to eat your teeth, brush your clothes and put on your sandwich already, at 5.30 am, isn't something you can be mentally prepared for.
  8. Philomena, the false god!
  9. And ate a lamp, it's natural prey.
  10. That island is the one that keeps failing me in story mode. Can you even get the traveling bug at this point?
  11. Unfortunately, he sucked at both history and physics, leading to an army of angry pencils and even angrier lamps to rampage after him, alongside a blue, one legged T-Rex.
  12. YEETOFFTHESMALLCLIFF yeetoffthesmallcliff Finally mastered caps lock. Totally first try.
  13. Oh no, I know that they should be harder to smell, but if a 5 isn't enough, nothing currently is. Meanwhile, the same nicheling can smell wanderers with a slightly lower stat. Something is either unbalanced here or a potential bug, as both cases were lower than 5.
  14. No, you can't get pregnant if your tribesize is say, 13, and you have 13 creatures. They just refuse to mate, as a pregnant nicheling counts for 2. I attempted to experiment on rogues, but the limit just never kicked in with lower tribesizes. Then it didn't kick in at all, so I do not know to this day what happens if you met a rogue with a limit of 1. Just that it completely broke my game and disabled any size limit.
  15. And decapitated the whole front row.
  16. Right? Not like someone with punctuation suspiciously close to enter, delete, three letters and the button to blend out a keyboard.
  17. Or just start with derpsnouted no paws. Going extinct on deadly hills is pretty much impossible as long as you have a foodsource and a distasteful female.
  18. Yeetoffthesmallcliff Not even trying for the lack of capital letters.
  19. If you breed with a male before setting up his menu, the child won't mutate anything. Females can be set up any time.
  20. There are wanderers around at times you can't smell, even if they're right in front of you. Not sure if that is another bug, but it's usually them.
  21. Don't they always do this? The bugs you never knew you had...
  22. This is nightmare fuel. Imagine fully functional rogue babies humping everyone's left leg.
  23. Do you have access to medium islands? Whale island is pretty much your only hope, if the left- right fix doesn't work to reset it. When the bug sets in before that, you're dead. Maybe recreate your tribe with the sandbox settings or have "Adam" and "Eve" start on Whale Island.
  24. This happened to me before the update. The rogue was already locked on her (as she was the only adult around), but releasing the purrsnot didn't bother him. Oh no, he followed everyone's favourite grandma around for some 6-ish tiles until she stopped fot a root. Still mad at the toad.
