The new update will make a lot of challenges easier to start. But what kind of new challenges might become possible?
Bugs only on sleepy reads?
One nicheling playthrough?
Mismatched wings story tribe?
What are your thoughts?

Reese's? And here I thought it's the ultimate Hitler pattern. Ronu's having an existential crisis about his new name.

This guy found me today:
Consoled
I thought the eyebrows were meant to have that triangle arch, but from that angle:
I might have come up with the wrong pattern based on that. The nicheling gods intervened and declared:
Thin + thick density
Big + small pattern
My bad. The tailedges on the other were suspect, but this one has them perfectly:
So it must have been wrong. Sorry about that .Maybe you at least have a nickname now? Kirnuku was the wanderer's.

what about the chance of twins? you know if 2 females sit on a nest and the next day both give birth what happens if one or both give birth to twins?
also does that mean that rogues can't mate with your creatures if the limit is reached?
Not allowing twin birth might be easier, but rogues have me confused aswell.

This format just doesn't work. Maybe it would if...
- I stay longer on islands (no story mode)
- mix it with a second challenge
- stay only on hard islands
- things wouldn't always go back to being tyrannical, or if there was a better reason for it (permanent lack of food).
- two groups work against each other or more (but this might get confusing namewise)
- they're mostly normal. Just with claws for paws and incapable of love. This does not stop them from being fine, otherwise, though. The name may come from the rival group, which places too much value on everything romantic. So no hate on the original format (not my idea, but I altered some parts of it). Starting in story mode to have an end goal was just a really bad idea.

This is hard. Oz is certainly the most odd looking, but Sleekfaces' circumstances are really funny. He looks so disappointed in life...

Looks a lot like Splitti's? Pattern. C is pretty straightforward. Even if it's not right, getting close is usually easier than with others.
My Marigold has an alike one, too.
Should make the job much easier. Though his fur was supposed to be red. Botched that reincarnation because the mutation menu was assigned.
Thick medium, small pattern is close-ish
Size small medium
Found a lead small/medium pattern
Very thick density/thin density

And so, the group gathered at the next port. One fiery red alpha to lead them all, two beta and omega. Their... less pleasant company would be ignored.
However, the leader Amber did not wish for a divide. While his group searched the shores for a new home, he tried to integrate the oucasts.
Even with their second child so lowborn, the tribe would be sworn to protect them. During his long winded speech, something rustled in the grasses.
And gone he was.
But who is this?
The hatelings settled in well. Soon, the Omegas had outlived their purpose and were discarded.
" It is you or Raresi. Choose well".
And so heather eyed Rare accepted fate. Her former mate was just glad for being spared. Until... he witnessed an atrocity. With a sight that cannot be unseen, Vankir succumbed to madness and despair.
Raresi wasn't less confused by the strangest pair in the grasses. As soon as they were spotted, they ran for the ominous tree. No one dared follow.
Too busy to bother, Amber continued on his duties. The next line was to be of the Beta derpsnout Vannu and the Omega Velvet. Too scared to rebel against a male twice her age, she accepted his advances until he dropped dead. While she hated him, he at least produced an alpha son.
This development was worrying. He did not keep her from a starry eyed Strawberry just for a child to outrank him! Yet, his white markings and big ears left no doubt: This mere child would one day challenge and banish him.

New rules -
-- No alpha/omega pairings
-- G.c.d traits cannot be compensated for
-- One slot is always reserved for cosmetic genes.
-- Creatures with "bad" genes cannot be invited anymore unless they'd be the only one to have said trait. (Here: green eyes)
-- A worse trait by the ranking system cannot be mutated on purpose
-- On every island, a new gene is added to the list depending on their history.
Starting (none)
-- first flower island (derp snout, beta level of okay). Derp snout was the most prominent trait of the first wanderer. It can't be ideal here, but will be held in higher esteem than others.
-- grass adventure (black pattern: okay). Bee's pattern and that of her descendants.
-- archipelago (claw: bad) The ugliest daughter had claw.
Swampy Hill: ??

Can't wait for the gills/beak + water body + red fur combo in the jungle. Nothing can go wrong. They'be sure to run away with the legendary ideal of two speed.

(Sky apologizes for Meringue's tantrum)
Hey, at least they wouldn't drown him. Unless it really is swimming tail, then, uh, I'm sure he'd swim away and get them all sick. Since they really suck at it...

The nearsighted animals struggled to settle on the next island. A cult around big ears was formed.
On the other side, their beautiful fox spirited cousins flourished. However, when it came down to handing the reins to the next generation, an atrocity happened.
The heiress had defiled herself! Clearly, the male has no mind of his own and is hence not guilty.
But that was only the beginning. The council decided to travel northwards. The big eared cult decided to build a border wall. Why? They had a terrible dispute not long ago about the definition of "low" fertility. Is it like theirs, 2-3 with an infertile trait? Or is it a consistent double 1? Worse yet, which of them is the "immigrant"?
In the following bloody war, the foxspirits were defeated as they had drowned all their ugly children. The remaining two jumped over the wall.
"If you marry my ugliest daughter, there will be peace" proclaimed the red chieftain. Somehow, he had managed to pass his spray tan down genetically.
Unlike the fairer derp-snout maidens, our leading male's hopes were crushed when the only big nosed one stepped forward. Even worse, her eyes were as black as the depths of hell. Little did he know that his blood was already impure, for he was 25% bearyena.
The fair orange crackerjaw, every one's favourite combination outside the tribe, and even fairer yellow/black derpsnout ... went for the albino. Unfortunately, neither child inherited the bird beak.
While albinism still allowed the tank of an Omega, Melanism was the true mark of evil. Eternally disappointed, mother and son went on a nice swimming trip. He died happily, knowing there was someone uglier nearby.
The foxspirit's children inherited their mothers deformed snout, even if not her pitch black eyes. However, the violett eyed daughter attracted a handsome male. His flawed yellowish fur would be overlooked for the desired velvet paw, the best paw of all.
Her mother, unhappy, sent her second, uglier brother with her as punishment. His ears were disgustingly small. How dare she not fall for her brother, as is proper?
Her beloved's inherited his handsome face. Her cursed brother, however, smirched her status with a hellspawn.
Still, she couldn't bring herself to banish an innocent child.
