  1. We never got project hell, but had to write an essay weekly. Though you had two weeks to do so and could request more time if you were busy with work. Which is why it worked. But once they've tortured you enough, you kind of write them mechanically without too much stress

  2. It's officially, legally, a pandemic. That means my mother, a doctor, has no protection from the law. Since her employer's a jerk and we have no cases, she's not going to get any free days for a long time. Or come home at all.

In Italy, they're at 2 hours of sleep per night now. Anyone with small children is allowed to run off, the rest can suffer. Of course, this is going to kill quite a lot of staff sooner or later and cause long term psychological damage. But who cares, right? Burnout's a myth and doctors signed up for this. Totally.

  3. Someone got impatient and kicked this guy for 20kt59602451_350.png.5993f9655409318ff44029d676a887de.png

    (He's a leap too!)

Arwen also returned to the market for 22g. Is this a fandragon? Maybe... I had been looking for a Coatl, so that's nice.

  4. It's 2 am, but...

-- how politic/scientific is this? Depending on subject, you need to cater to a tone.

(Make up some questions for yourself to answer accordingly. This helps structure information, have projects not get too big and sets a clear, less scary goal to avoid procrastination. )

-- do some research on relevant topics around carbon emission.

-- make sure to construct multiple viewpoints, but start with gathering hard information once you know your subtopics.

-- do more research on common misunderstandings, false facts in circulation and who profits from propaganda. Do not skip this step.

+ make sure to both get into what someone can do as a person and as a society when discussing. E.g. your personal choices even as a country are quite useless if your main contributers are big, big companies. Yet, demotivation is deadly.

(Find actual examples here. What has company/country X done, what does Blog Y/scientists A, B and C say about it...

It's a very common excuse from big contributers to say change would be too hard, recent successes say otherwise...

What have other classes/young people done?)

  5. So first world problem, (and 2 am decision)

I accidentally got my hands on two leap year primals. They're both female.

    This one

Very nice contrast, but all are expensive. I don't know about (1) yet, but she's probably better off with apparel

  6. So there's *one* benefit found in living in the middle of nowhere. Would it even mean something if random other geographically isolated mountain villages (= a Tal) became infected?

Not for a while. Currently not buying any normal dragons since I have so many incomplete breeding pairs. They're usually hopeless if rejected. And young.

He's in a give away pair, but I found a better male. You'll probably find rescues with some months and love behind them.

    Yep :')

Just had to sell five dragons so I could get some lair space

By the way, do you have any dragons that need homes?

  9. So I sold this dragon

    This is the Mango

Both coronavirus and the flu can kill. Fortunately, coronavirus has a 2-15 day incubation rate, reducing lethality. I wonder if dogs can sniff out coronavirus. (SOMEONE ASK THE YOUTUBER DOCTOR MIKE!)

Ah, no. Having no symptoms, while being infectious, is going to be worse . It also survives for an unusual amount of time on surfaces. Tests also have a significant risk of being false negatives, as the process is easy to botch. Bad combo.

It's just stupidly good at spreading, though. Teatment options are effective, so if you're low(ish) risk and it spreads slowly, you'll only see real trouble like in that one infected retirement home. "Real" trouble is easy to say when it's not your grandparents, though...

  11. Mmm. In Vienna and two other Bundesländer. These are like States. But then again, the whole South is pretty close to italy, which has some potentially mutated + somewhat more severe version. Though no one knows what severe really means. And the best translation is closer to "intense". Germany hasn't been helpful, either.
