They're very pretty! Do you think I could buy one when they hatch?

They'll all be free. Some might get unlucky though, so there's about three show dragons and two fodder

  2. My 8 eggs from breeding dragons hatch tomorrow. 2-3 are give-aways.

These too from a show couple. They don't have rare genes like starmap or butterfly

Filigree and opal, though. Quite pretty when lucky

  3. I wasn't online enough to farm much, so here's my entry to the list of [(shame)] hopelessly overstuffed lairs

But there's no excuse for that

  4. I was faceblind as a kid, though that's probably a different kind. Even if you "grow out of it", you might still be bad at remembering people long term. It's not that different if you could tell them apart before well enough, but putting names to faces easier when meeting, say, a group, is no doubt less stressful.

There's not much else to it unless you also couldn't read facial expressions. If that's the case, you might have developed a higher ability to recognize and read voices... so aside from all the romanticization in culture, dealing with people really just becomes 20% less inconvenient. And eye contact more hectic

  5. If you put up some stop-end when already involved, that could get very ugly. But if you actually discuss things before hand, why shouldn't it be equal to things like: Doesn't/does ...

    -- want to get married

    -- have kids

-- put a time limit on the relationship

    -- consider long distance

? I mean, it just seems like messing up badly with any of these comes from communication problems, not the issues themselves. Things get problematic when "give me X, or Y happens" turns up. But that's different from "we can't be equal and both get what we want", hence the breakup, or both saying no to a relationship from the start.

If you mix in "but why don't just give me X?" at said start, or "why do you even need... so badly", one party is trying to push their needs above the other... by, I guess, emotional extortion and devaluing them, which might or might not be something to call discrimination. But it's going to suck every time, no matter the name.

  6. I'm just haunted by a creepily accurate jerk that does not let me oversleep, ever. Time clearly has to exist in 10 minute intervals. You shouldn't be allowed to both space out and feel 3 minutes of your life running away all day, every day.

My dad virtually can't get lost and remembers the layout of some way to some harbour 5 years later because he's been there once. And hated the service from a restaurant. He's not even that good at spatial tasks, nor am I really involved in observing my enviroment. It doesn't really add up sometimes. Especially when your episodal memory gets bad enough to forget yesterday somewhat, and the day before almost entirely.

  7. Lies. So many lies...

They (Fae dragons) frequently use the magic of the environment to supplement their own natural reserves. Fae dragons fighting on magically or elementally charged terrain will have a nearly infinite supply of energy to channel into their destructive spells.

  8. "An unhealthy Coatl can be identified by fading plumage. Dull colors are regarded by other Coatl with sorrow and trepidation. Coatl who are naturally born grey or white are regarded as bad omens, and often exiled from nests to protect the rest of the clutch from catching illness or ill luck."

    My baby :(

"Fae dragons spin their roosts from tree sap that they cure with magic to become a beautiful golden amber. Their colonies are built on the sides of sheer cliffs or the trunks of massive trees, far out of the reach of other predators. Older colonies will often meet catastrophic ends, when the weight of too many dens takes the cliff side or tree down."

    What?!
