  1. Liking that one show as a kid some part of you rejected to perceive as anime
  2. Welcome to the hall of quasi-shame. For some reason, I really liked Inuyasha as a kid. My mom didn't, it being kinda violent. Dad just thought it was funny, and so it went on.
  3. Useless trivia and notes to self: #1 -- fight system dice rolls 20/18. Speed modifier -- evasion chance/hit chance. Stealth attacks always hit at (7-18?), with a small chance of 20, depending on factors (speed, size, species, skill). -- Musket building birds will be killed on the spot. Higher tools are impossible due to being... bad at math and memory tasks -- Events can be skipped after two days. However, it might still have consequences or appear again. -- These are your kingdoms Kind of. The South In all of its sides The Floodmeadow A more swamp-like West, while three rivers cut the floodmeadow from the East. Between them, the ground is more gravelly, or downright unwalkable (seen: between two rivers and heartland) The water never quite freezes on the northern end The North No, not really It fades out to a Tundra And this is your natural enemy: the... ancient bob-cat The East Rivers. Cave border: Heartland And Cliffs by your shores The Cave(s) Outside And inside Shrine, Lighthouse and the Deep -- the largest biomes are East (being highly diverse and massive) + North, including a Tundra. The Floodmeadow would be smallest, if you don't count the part that's mostly water. -- the caves are, of course, to a large part underground. Even so, they eat into the East and North. -- no one knows the true size of the jungle (but the caves may or may not be its heart) -- a quarter of the South is downright uninhabitable. The part closest to the sea does well, and even has freshwater rivers.
  4. @panda wanderer (Danger scale: 2/7) Along the shores, you encounter a strange animal. (77, 15, 78) It does not belong to your kingdom. Yet, despite being at almost equal height, it does not fear you. Will you let this curious creature follow (Golddust's mate)? Pets can be assigned to an animal and provide buffs. This Hira's sharp sense of smell aids in stealth events. They are very protective animals.
  5. @panda wanderer. The second player event is a default one. 1) Explore for special events 2) Have Golddust court her mate (or be courted) 3) Reinforce your habitat's defense
  6. @panda wanderer, would you like a new event? The generator may be a total jerk, but I'm not
  7. Team evil is on the move. Danger: 1/7. Team evil has been demoted to Team space-kitten npc 68. The Twins have been found. Unknown #1 had passed away by then. #2 is now an adult Alpha Graystone enters a Raid event and gets lost on the way there. Press F to pay respect
  8. @PupTheNicheling Lynx gains prestige and a hunter title (trait: ambitious). The North finds: +3 pp. Paw points help in player invasions, nature- and failed events
  9. What is @Jojo, more nefariously, @Morso, because that image is scary
  10. Do I want to know my true nature? It's a terrible* responsibilty, last heard (/y boring)
  11. @Aetherskye 7, 36, 94 The invading force was too strong. As a consequence, the tunnel could not be saved. Crumble curses the Stone. She is locked inside a dark path with a small group. She wishes Lumos was here, instead. 37 (57), 20, 96 But you have to keep your heads together. You cannot fail by having some digger lose their mind! Even so, no markings adorn the walls. This is unkown land. You step deeper and deeper into icy tunnels. The cold seems to almost radiate off the walls here, sending shadows dancing over its own light. Then there's heat And lastly, nothing at all. 63, 41 What seems to have been your guiding light was merely split stone. At it's highest edge is an useless doll! Crumble does not take it and marches on... 1) West, where moss naturally seems to lead 2) East, where your own tunnels may be 3) Back, and then North, into the icy crystals and their secrets
  12. No! (Why do I have to be a cat...) But really, please pick an option. Each has a different core benefit
  13. @PupTheNicheling 50 (60), 25, 67) Lynx soon tracks down her prey of choice. The Hyra are only medium sized herbivores. However, their pack structure makes hunters easy to spot, while their sense of smell is incredibly sharp. All goes well. Even so, her tribemates are less talented at stealth. Some hyras escape your ambush in time, as Lynx had to give chase too early. After some struggle, Lynx had... 1) aimed for the most tender meat 2) them chase down a large number of mature Hyra 3) slain their alpha personally?
  14. Stormy takes the second strange bird to her home. Sometimes, she thinks its eyes track her -- but as soon as she looks back, she feels silly. Owl or not, it's just wood. ... right?
  15. @Aetherskye (I really hope the quizz goes well for you!) Level: 6 Every once in a while, the Iguanas dig too deep. While many strange treasures lie in its dephts ... You sometimes have to pick your poison 1) Tunnel collapse (habitat damage) 2) Fight off the invading cave-rats (lowers defense) 3) Mystic trail (attempt the challenge anyway to earn a prize)
  16. (Freedom! Kind of) @bannergirl411 2, 52 (62), 89 (99) Stormy decides to explore along the shore. She is approached by a strange crab Feathers offers a beligerent screech. Stormy remains nonplussed. What can a crab really do? Offended, it starts a rampagne of insults against today's youth. Eventually, it calms down for lack of retaliation. The crab offers you two treasures: An owl made of driftwood, the other... a gift from a trade. The crab is willing to reward you, should you solve its riddles. Should you fail, it will take something that cannot be given. Stormy reluctantly agrees. Her wits suit her well! Claim your prize: 1) The drifted owl 2) the tiny kraken
  17. (Still stuck at a birthday party) Level 5/7: no predator events here @PupTheNicheling In the North, wild hunts serve as large celebrations to felines mountain-wide. However, they are even more important to hunters. Leaders show their skill, while the young chase prestige and rank. Who shall enter? A) Flame will serve as lead-hunter B) Lynx will show her cunning C) Crackle spearheads his first party
  18. (Soon! I'm just stuck with people and started with the lower ones, promise.)
  19. @wikipedia, neither of these make for good parents. You're less likely to influence their personality. A fast and crowing menace (female). (Inherited: cosmetic mutation) More calculating than his sister. And stronger. The eternal conflict over the shiniest pink feather will soon end!
  20. @bannergirl411. It's a calm month. Would you have... 1) Leo and Jemma explore? 2) Look for artifacts? 3) borders enforced or expanded?
  21. @angelheart. It's a calm month. Will 1) one of your animals explore? 2) Anker court his mate? 3) efforts to locate Dikaz be continued? (You can have me roll or use 2 pp)
  22. New day, new hell. 2, 5, 6, and 1 I'll start from the lower end
  23. That a took a dark twist. My point is, they kept ironically dying by water, whether direct drowning or falling into lakes. Then Mapleshade was gay in every round. The hunger games are very weird. (Anasire did take revenge in Jojo's... where they also ignored each other)
  24. I suppose you can if it's 3 vs. 1 and you cut their gills out first
