I like the idea of one claw being bigger than the other and the nichelings needing two cracking to collect them. but how would the claws look? would they be pointing upwards like the claw, or pointing down like the bearynea claw? sorry for the really bad and rushed drawings, i just needed to get my point across quickly and i don't have my drawing tablet with me ;-;

i really like this idea, but i dont like the stat additions. for example, i think the full hybrid ability of not being attacked is cool, but i would see no reason for it to add strength because there are no extra genes adding strength, plus the huge amount of strength the bearynea genes add is already overpowered. it just makes more sense to not add stat additions because a hybrid would probably be mistaken by a bearynea for its own kind, but a full hybrid wouldnt magically be stronger. i really like the idea though, i would never have thought of it!

that has happened to me on multiple occasions, I don't really mind that much about it, but this should probably be fixed for people who like to have big tribes and fill all the ports.

im sort of nervous I will procrastinate and not end up drawing anything, but I guess absolutely having to draw something will get me "motivated" to draw more. well done me (honestly I think doing this will be good cause I literally haven't drawn in ages because procrastinating, and everyone on this forum is awesome and I wouldn't want to disappoint them). So for who I want someone to draw: Petallily! My goddess of peace. She is technically a reincarnation of a goddess, but this is the only one I have screenshots of *cough* and she looks better *cough*. She persuaded her tribe (or atleast most of her tribe) to be kind to nature and their surroundings, sparing rabbils and moles. but not fish. the nichelings in the lake she lived near never listened to her. so, extremely angrily, she ran away into the grass because she thought nobody wanted to listen to her, but a half bearynea nicheling came to comfort her, telling her everyone appreciated her, but nichelings need to live, and that cannot happen easily without the killing of some animals. she understood, changing her teachings to make sure her tribe survived, but did not become greedy and kill without good reason. Most tribes honour her by not hunting excessively, but some tribes my totally ignore her existence and hunt as much as they please. on the other hand, some tribes will take her original teachings, and totally ban hunting, causing their tribes to go extinct *cough again* my lone wolf challenge inspired by jessimew's rules for it *cough again*

just a top tip for generally anything you see that someone has made on the internet: if you don't like it, give criticism. people that create things will 100% of the time appreciate you telling them what to improve upon, because they may have not realised that themselves, and will be thankful once they improve that thing you pointed out and realised how much better it looks. just dont say "this is so bad" or "I hate this" because that's not really helping anyone. sorry for the paragraph-long life lesson, I just thought this is important to know, youre probably older than me lol

i know a lot of people really like the idea of more hybrids, but personally I think that hybrids should be kept to bearyneas only. It makes them seem more special and unique to other predators like the apes and balance bears, and if they were to receive hybrids too, bearyneas would be widely overlooked. that's just my opinion on hybrids though, and I wouldn't actually find it offensive for more hybrids to be added

oh really? I didn't actually know that, that's cool! It was just the first thing that came to mind when I though of alphas and betas and omegas, so I used it as an example, but it still stands the use of the rank system ,were it to be like that, would still be very limited

by the way, will all the months have a theme? because I think for January it should be all about brightly-coloured nichelings! (because of the new year and fireworks). the rules would be they have to have bright coloured fur (yellow, orange, red, pink, ect. , just any extremely bright colours) or have toxic body!

Moosestar does look nice and I think her story is one of my favourites out of all of my nichelings, but little imperfections like her swimming tail and one velvet paw and one runner leg make her look just a bit worse than your nichelings, which have obviously been bred with those genes for generations, so they are "perfect" appearance-wise, which is what I prefer personally over cool-looking patterns

So I was playing in story mode and I was mostly focusing on gathering food rather than breeding, and in 50 days I got 413 food. From this, I had the idea to start a little contest about how much food you can get, in story mode, in 50 days. If you want to try, just put how much food you got, and maybe a picture of your island to show how your nichelings collected the food?
