[Alpha stuff]

I do like this idea, but the alpha beta omega system is used in so many different ways that making only really work for a wolf pack would throw off a lot of challenges and playstyles. a nicheling must be an omega to be banished, and it must be banished by an alpha, so lets say if you were doing a sort of "two tribes" playthrough, banishing a nicheling in one tribe would mean you would have to send an alpha all the way over there

tl;dr : no, but maybe a customisation option for sandbox mode if the "challenges with win conditions" feature wins the voting!

[question about kickstarter]

so I was looking at the niche kickstarter stretch goal today and I was wondering whether the content of stretch goal 3 has been added yet? it says it adds new plants, so im wondering if this is about healing fruits and the roots you can dig up, or if it is talking about poison berries and carnivorous plants?

here is lalasi, who probably belongs somwhere with my niche gods and godessess (but i havent decided yet) and one of her daughters, lasi, who was found by an exact clone of herself (but with a claw) when she was accidentally left behind by her siblings. i have definitely got nichelings i like more, but for now these are the ones i have screenshots of right now

[What are your favorite genes?]

fishing tail, big body, and a mix of one claw and one nimble finger are my favourite genes. i also adore the round ears, but they are very hard to get. my favourite coat colour is 100% double yellow fur (with yellow mixed with white fur my second favourite, and red brown and white in third). i'm not sure about pattern, but there is a mask variation which makes a nicheling with pink patterning look like they're blushing, and that is definitely my favourite mask. i think stripes may be my favourite pattern, but like i said, i'm not sure. for horns, either antlers or antennae is my favourite. i don't really have a snout preference, but i sort of dislike the purr snout. yellow eyes are my absolute favourite eye colour, though!

[First impressions of Niche?]

i found out about niche when i watched jessimew's fist ever video about niche, around when she released it. i hadn't watched any of her other videos, or even knew about her, but the video was recommended to me so i watched it, and immediately fell in love with the game (and jessimew!) and bought it in early access a few months later. i was really bad at it, and over time i stopped playing it over frustration and i left it for about a year, i think, along with no longer watching jessimew. seeing the first episode of jessimew's adam's quest, i found out niche had been fully released and went back to it, and i havent stopped playing it since

i agree, but i think the achievements would have to be disabled, as you could just generate the right nicheling for the achievements to be unlocked

I really like this idea! i think a good way to balance this is to make it so you can only choose genes that normal starter nichelings can get when starting a sandbox mode save, so it technically wouldnt be cheating (except for maybe camoflauge, horns or purr snout) and you would have to have only the A, B ,C and D immunities on your starting pair, otherwise you could choose the rare immunity genes like J . This could be really cool for when you try to start so many sandbox saves trying to get a good island and a good starting pair!

my favourite is 100% meerkats,, people think cats are my favourite animal (I do love cats, they come second with sugar gliders in third) but meerkats are just so tiny and precious and the way they sit on top of the rocks at the zoo and look around and when they see you they run to the fence and try to play with you theyre so cutesfgfdsasedrfghnmjhgtfdkcvmbngtrfkd

[Your dream nicheling?]

im just gonna put my dream nicheling for my queen bee challenge, it would be:

big nose

white stripes

big ears

double yellow fur

peacock tail

yellow, black or brown eyes

big body

nimble finger

claw

antlers- brown or black

and I have got another dream collector for one of my veeery old tribes, I never actually got it though (I have my entire queen bee tribe by now with the genes I want) and its pretty much the queen bee nicheling but with double nimble fingers, ram horns (red+brown colour) and a black mask with pink fur and posion fangs. on my quest to create this perfect collector, I did actually make rosefur, my goddess of plants! she is the dream collector but with a big nose and normal ears, and she is said to bring the rain and make the berry bushes grow! if you destroy too many berry bushes, she will be angry, and not bring rain for the tribe.

Mekoko the goddess of tragedy, her mother was killed by a bearynea when she was a child and she had to be raised by her father, a friendly bearynea. she grew up to be a strong warrior who was very family-oriented.

and goldie, who was born an apt fisher, and was very romantic. he had children with the most beautiful female in the tribe, and he was regarded as the god of the seas for his fishing, which saved the tribe from starvation

here is a nicheling I actually had today! she is moosestar, the leader of my tribe. she was a very secluded and mysterious nicheling, who was interested in bearyneas and their genes, causing her subjects to distrust her. after being attacked by a bearynea, she thought this was a sign her tribe was unwelcome on their current island, and they migrated to a new island, where she had 4 children with a yellow nicheling called petalbreeze. she actually didn't make one of her kids leader as she hated all of them, she made a random nicheling called redheart leader. so yeah, not the nicest leader ever, but she is very beautiful
