  1. floppy ears like your labrador mix @Skysplash8 wouldn't actually be that effective for cold resistance as they have a larger surface area than regular dog ears (which are similar to the regular ear type in game) and would actually contribute more to heat loss rather than conservation. most floppy ears are similar, and would be useless as an adaptation for cold resistance, eg. regular vs floppy eared domestic goats imo the best ear type for cold resistance would have to be based off of an Arctic fox. they're ears are tiny to minimalize heat loss and they're also very fluffy which would also keep the fox warm if the ears were to be floppy though, then they would have to be something like the ears of a Scottish fold cat. they have tiny, completely folded over ears which I'd imagine would make a pretty good adaptation for cold resistance. the only downside would be that the hearing ability would probably be reduced

  3. This has already been suggested here: An animal's sex has nothing to do with its genes, it is determined entirely by which sex chromosomes it ends up with. There is always a 50/50 chance on the gender of a baby, and genes can't affect that

  8. Nope! Chimerism can occur naturally it's just not very common (at least with humans, I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that pretty much all marmosets are chimeras but that could've been a dream lol)
  9. a cheese sandwich with a tomato salad
  10. Jackals would be cool, maybe black-backed? If not in the base game then I can definately see them being included in an African themed DLC sometime in the future. I'd probably rather see maned wolves tho, those guys are pretty cool
  11. I can't wait to get this game, it's such a step up from zt2 lol. Hoping to see plenty of primates like gibbons, tamarins, capuchins etc for that awesome piece-by-piece climbing stuff they've got Would also love to see otters, penguins, wallabies, jaguars and meerkats, and maybe an Asiatic black bear too because those guys are just plain adorable What's everyone else wanting to see in the game?

  13. I love this idea, but I'm not a huge fan of the name clever jaw. Maybe it could be called mandibles instead?
  14. While chimera animals are pretty cool, I don't really see a need for this in the game when we could get new features that add to gameplay instead. Chimerism is rare in all animals, and would be even less common in nichelings given that most of the time nichelings only have 1 baby, so it wouldn't even be something that would show up very often Chimerism only affects fertility in chimeras who are intersex, and even they aren't always affected. If chimerism were to ever be added, i doubt intersex chimeras would be a thing seeing as it would overcomplicate something that would be a pretty small addition to the game
