  1. Sorry it's just a headshot, but I think it's my favourite so far?
  2. Aheh, I can fix that. *Pulls out rubber*
  3. Your dog is gorgeous. :3 I think the drawing could do with more fluff, eh.
  4. I don't why it's holding a mysterious orb but it is now. ( Dragons are not my strong point, I can confirm.)
  5. I'm hella' bored, and I want to do some traditional art. I'm open for anything, literal anything (except nfsw), I'll give it a go. I don't plan on colouring anything, but I might. (Also going to leave this link here, it's a really random (but cool) oc generator; https://en.shindanmaker.com/664402) Thanks. ;3
  6. Do you see actual legitimate colours and shapes? Not a memory, but rather as if it is there, infront of you? Not just blackness..? The more I discuss this topic the more it occurs to me I probably can't see anything.
  7. I've watched that videos several times- along with many others (I did the same sort of 'apple test' on my friends). I'm mainly confused about what it means to see something from your mind's eye. If you don't see blackness, what are you seeing?
  8. I know it isn't technically a M-I/D/D, but do you know anything about aphantasia? I'm clueless, after many long, deep conversations with my friends about what a mind's eye is and how well each as an individual we can visualise things, I'm thoroughly confused. It's such an intriguing and difficult subject, as there's no way to truly see from someone else's prospective; as much as you can describe how vivid your mind's eye is, no one can quite imagine what it's like to be you, think like you, exist like you. Can people actually, literally visualise things with their eyes closed? I've thought it was normal when someone says 'imagine a sandy beach, with the waves rolling in...' etc, etc, you use your memories to piece together the perfect scenario which only words can describe. I decided to test my friends, by making them shut their eyes and imagine an apple, change the background, change the colour. Then asking, 'can you see it?', to which they all responded with a decisive 'yes'. I've tried to explain to them how I imagined it, and they all informed me that was not how they were seeing it. Sorry for rambling, I apologise for any grammar/spelling mistakes. Also- if you don't know what aphantasia is this probably makes absolutely no sense, sorry again. Sorry (again, again) for posting this on a kind of unrelated thread. Are there any easy ways to tell if you have aphantasia? What do you see in your mind's eye?
  9. I'll have a look when I go, last time I was too anxious to go down the aisle because their was an employee sorting out the varying sketchbooks.
  10. It's called Hobbycraft, it's quite a big brand across Britain.
  11. I already have an ungodly amount of those, though it might be worth investing in some new/high quality ones.
  12. Sometime this week I'm going to drag myself to an arts & crafts shop. -But I have no idea what I want to get. My local one is huge, anything from sewing, painting, drawing, building, cake-decorating, etc.. Many brands, many items. I was thinking either, a proper sketchbook, watercolours/watercolour paper, a posca pen or some sharpies. Any other ideas?
  13. I just found a remake that I did a couple months ago, compared to a sketch I made, uh... 7-8 months ago? Both need major improvements, I'm just glad the remake has four legs. I just realised how long the second ond's front leg would be, yikes.
  14. I hope everyone has a lovely summer! ❤️
  15. Not kidding, I just spend a solid 30 minutes looking for a good picture of my eye. All my photos had: A. Me wearing my glasses B. Squinted/blurry eyes C. Horrible lighting Even though it isn’t focused and blurry, take the best picture of my eye. My head is tilted, my eyes aren’t actually that shape. Found it from about a year back. (Eye reveal?)
  16. My eyes are quite similar to Skysplash’s eye colour, except more green than blue. (Still quite gray, blue-ish hazel?). And then a ring of brown around the pupil, that in one eye stretches out towards the edge of the iris. Is this some form of heterochromia?
  17. I think really dark brown eyes are awesome! All my friends (except me and one other) have blue eyes, some lighter and brighter, some darker and gray-er.
  18. What’s the colour of your eyes? Anyone got unusual eyes? Eyes are cool. Well, eye colour is cool. Bad eyesight isn’t cool, thanks genetics. I was doing some curious research about eye colours- was a bit like- “Hey, do I have central heterochromia?” I don’t want to jump to conclusions, but it seems kind of likely? It could be some other sort of eye condition/disease but I’ve been to the opticians several times and they’ve never mentioned it.
  19. Thanks, luckily my family has no history of depression.
  20. I think you've been really friendly, and you always have something nice and/or interesting say. It's not many people who get mad if you say the wrong thing, and as far as I can tell you haven't said any wrong things anyways.
  21. Aheh, did anyone else collect Moshi Monsters? I remember my school set up a sort blackmarket for Moshi Monsters after the headteacher banned them. They’re currently gathering dust in my attic, I have pretty big collection. Mm, those were good times.
  22. Title is very self-explanatory, if you’ve only mentioned it once then that’s okay too I guess. Doesn’t have to be something personal, could like a fun-fact. I’ll start: I’m incredibly short-sighted and I wear glasses. I don’t like wearing them but I like being able to see so-
  23. Having the motivation to finish a piece of art that ends up looking pretty cool. Awesome!
