  1. The coelacanth is a well known as the living fossil mascot, thought to be extinct and is extremely strong. But how strong? First the Coela Gills would be unlocked by finding ancient genes. I know it really isn't a prehistoric animal but still they survived during those times and there exact estaminets of coelacanths today isn't known. The effects would be +1 underwater breathing, +1 smelling and +1 fishing. Next the Coela Body would be unlocked by finding ancient genes. The effects would be +1 underwater breathing, +1 defence and +1 swimming. In a way they act like ancient water genes. Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer.
  2. The earwig had a weird myth around it involving it crawling into our heads to lay eggs, but this is false (except for those earwigs found in ears 🤔). So the only gene from this beetle would be the Forceps Pincers would be unlocked by traveling 50 times and attacking 30 times. Another sexual dimorph gene the effects would be +2 strength in males but +1 in females. Now yes the earwig's pincers aren't exactly the strongest force, they still hurt and I bet if amplified and attached to a nicheling it would be a strong gene (also no flying genes because they don't really fly). Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer.
  3. I don't really know why I'm doing a lot of aquatic related ideas but they're fun to do. The sea krait is one of the few species of snakes that swim in salt water and they have pretty good gene ideas to. First the Krait Fangs would be unlocked by swimming 30 times and poisoning 30 times. The effects would be +1 venomous, +1 camouflage, +1 fishing or maybe a new effect that allows temporary breathing (Fishyfishyfishy500 explains below). Finally the Krait Tail would be unlocked by swimming 50 times. The effects would be +1 swimming and +1 camouflage (reference how sea krait's tail looks similar to the head to confuse predators) or plus one sight (Fishyfishyfishy500 explains below). Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer (plus Fishyfishyfishy500 correcting me).
  4. I love symbiosis, it shows how two animals can work together and benefit from it. So with me wanting more diverse water biomes and people posting ideas for fierce underwater predator we could make a way to avoid dealing with a tough issue. So the only thing would be the Remoras disk, it would be unlocked by removing 30/50 leeches. The effects would be +1 underwater breathing and a new effect (IDK about a name for it). The effect would allow nichlings to attack onto larger predators for a said period of time. The chance of them staying on the predator/entity would depend on how you've interacted with them. If you've attacked them before they would strike out of retaliation, if you've done nothing to them it would be 50/50 and if you've left food they would allow you on. Hope that was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer.
  5. The flying fish doesn't really fly but it still glides pretty well. The only gene would be the flying fish fins would be unlocked by flying 20 times and swimming 20 times. The effects would be +2 swimming and +1 flight (That's it 😂). Hope that was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer.
  6. Mumbo is the second best character from Happy Feet (Ramon's number one). Plus penguins are considered cute, funny and true survivalist. First the Penguin Body would be unlocked by Swimming 50 times and spending 50 days in a cold biome. The effects would be +1 cold resistance, +1 swimming and +1 stealth. Next the Penguin Flippers would be unlocked by swimming 20 times and spending 20 days in a cold biome. The effects would be +1 cold resistance and +1 swimming. Finally the Penguin Hind Legs would be unlocked by swimming 50 times and spending 50 days in a cold biome. The effects being +1 cold resistance, +1 speed and +1 swimming. Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer.
  7. yeah kind of like that, plus I know for a fact I wouldn't try and stay in a savannah biome (Looks kind of dry in biodiversity).
  8. Ah objection (insert semi-serious face). This would kind of follow a similar idea to the diversity of horns.
  9. I know but I think that because niche wasn't technically accurate with somethings. So I thought instead of producing more sexual dimorph genes that would provide no effect for specific genders I wanted to add some diversity.
  10. I love the element sort of genes like poison fangs and the purr snout because of the contrast of adding science concepts with the reminder that this is a game. The toxic gases can be a easy start to produce these. First the Toxic Snout would be unlocked by poisoning an entity 50 times. The effects would be +1 smelling and the new effect toxic gas (see below). Next the Plague Body would be unlocked by spending 50 days in a swamp an poisoning an entity 30 times. The effects would be +2 speed (Diseases do spread fast), +2 distasteful scent and +2 toxic gas. Next the toxic paws would be unlocked by attacking 30 times and poisoning 30 times. The effects would be +1 distasteful scent, +1 speed and +1 toxic gas. Finally the toxic tail would be unlocked by poisoning 50 times with the effects being +1 toxic gas. The effect toxic gas would work by spending one action point emits a cloud of toxic gas, the higher this effect is the more potent it would be. It would work somewhat like this: 1 toxic gas = 1 day of toxic gas in one tile 2 toxic gas = 2 days of toxic gas in one tile 3-5 toxic gas = 3 days of toxic gas in one tile The gas itself wouldn't effect nichelings with poison related genes but those that don't (including your own) would be effected by it. So when a creature enters in to the gas cloud they receive poisoning for 1 day, but longer depending how long or how many times they go in it. Meaning it can work as a way to repel predators or do a little more damage to a walrus deer. Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer.
  11. I like the idea but the problem with that is that would make the fins OP. As for the venomous/poisonous idea it would be too much to have both.
  12. The sugar according to one of my friends is one of the worlds best animals, so what genes could be made from it. Because I did the colugo already it would basically be the same thing so a few things must be taken out. First would be the pouched body (pretty common but you've got to make the most of it) would be unlocked by producing 30 young. The effects would be the same like everybody else's idea, carry the young until they have their second gem, +1 heat resistance and +1 cold resistance. Finally the sugar tail would be unlocked by gliding (see colugo idea to understand) 30 times. The effects would be +1 gliding. Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer
  13. The common wasp is known to be more dangerous than bees because of the females ability to sting multiple times. So the first/last gene for this idea would be the wasp stinger. It would be unlocked by attacking with venom 50 times. The effects for males would be +1 venomous, whilst females would be +2 venomous to show the difference in genders. Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer.
  14. The marine iguana is one of the most unique animals from the Galapagos island. First the marine iguana snout would be unlocked by spending 50 days in an archipelago and collecting 30/50 times. The effects would be +2 collect and +2 smelling. The marine iguana body would be unlocked by swimming 30 times and spending 30 days in a archipelago. With the effects being +2 swimming, +1 heat resistance. Next the marine iguana claws would be unlocked by swimming 30 times and attacking 50 times. The effects would be +1 swimming and +1 strength. The marine iguana hind legs would be unlocked the same way like the paws. The effects would be +1 swimming, +1 speed and +1 strength. Finally the marine iguana tail would be unlocked by traveling to archipelago biome. The effects would be the same as a swimming tail (+1 swimming). Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer.
  15. This sounds fun, because when the pregnant nicheling gives birth it's a raffle on what the offspring could be.
  16. The bison is one of North-Americas iconic animals that could easily handle wolfs. The bison horns would be unlocked by attacking 50 times and spending 30 days in a grassland biome. The effects would be of course +1 strength. Next the bison body would be unlocked by attacking 30 times and spending 50 days in a grassland biome. The effects would be +2 cold resistance, +1 heat resistance, +1 strength and +1 speed. Now yes the hooves are a pretty common request but there can be variations. Finally the bison hooves would be unlocked by attacking 20 times and exploring in grass a 100 times. The effects would be +1 speed and +1 strength. Hind legs would be the same. Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer.
  17. I like this request, it sort of links to JessieMews whole Gods idea and by building certain materials pleases her Gods.
  18. The thorny devil is well known for it's odd appearance and interesting lifestyle. So first the thorny devil's snout would he unlocked by spending 50 days in a savannah biome and insect collecting 30 times. The effects would be +1 insect collecting, +1 smelling and +1 spikiness. Next the thorny body would be unlocked by receiving 30 attacks and spending 30 days in a savannah biome. The effects would be +1 spikiness, +2 defence and +1 heat resistance. Finally the thorny tail would be unlocked by receiving 50 attacks and the effects being +1 spikiness. Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer.
  19. I know I've been doing a lot of aquatic gene ideas but I really just want to have more interesting water biomes. So the lion fish, also known as the zebra fish, also known as a whole bunch of different names is an ambushing prey and making its self displeasing for predators. So first the lionfish jaws would be unlocked by fishing 50 times, the effects would be +2 fishing and +1 underwater breathing (rely on fishing). Next the Lionfish body would be unlocked by swimming 50 times and collecting 50 toxic berries. The effects would be +2 distasteful appearance (predators don't like them), +2 venomous and +2 stealth. Finally the lionfish fins would be unlocked by swimming 30 times and collecting 30 toxic berries. The effects would be +1 venomous, +1 swimming and +1 stealth. Now I deliberately put venomous due to lionfish been known to attempt to break scuba divers masks to inject venom into them. Hope this was interesting, Sincerely BIogamer.
