  1. I did the blubber thing for the previous seal idea but I thought maybe it was too much. Also love the floating idea.
  2. The leafy sea dragon is not the best at camouflage as the cuttlefish but it can still do pretty well. First the Sea Dragon Snout would be unlocked by feeding from the Bottom 50 times and traveling into algae 30 times. The effects would be +1 feeding from the Bottom, +1 underwater breathing and +1 camouflage. Next would be the Leafy Sea body and would be unlocked by swimming 50 times and traveling into algae 50 times. The effects would be +4 stealth (hard to find), +2 scentless, +1 distasteful appearance (cause camouflage is related with fur colour and I believe most predators like algae) and disabling fur colour, albinism and melanism. Finally they would also have colourations like toxic body for the biome and the colourations could be yellow, green and orange. Ps if it isn't a feature allow +2 camouflage for underwater biome for some protection against new predators, because of people wanting it (including me). Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer.
  3. This is a good idea, making a new food source plus a new ability. Though I gotta ask how is it unlocked?
  4. Like the idea (not because you used my idea as a example πŸ˜†)
  5. So beautiful (Crying in the background). Also makes some pretty cool ways we can customise nichelings.
  6. Now looking back at my previous seal idea I kind of see the problems and understand why it wasn't considered popular, so I'm making another one πŸ˜†The leopard seal is a fast predator in the water in a harsh biome so I think it would be a great idea to do them. First the Leopard Seal Jaws would be unlocked by swimming 50 times as well as attacking 70 times. The effects would be +2 strength (strong bite force), +1 cracking and +2 smelling. Leopard Seal flippers would be unlocked by swimming 50 times and spending 30 days in a cold biome with the effects only being +2 swimming. Next the Blubber body would be unlocked by spending 70 days in a cold biome and swimming 50 times with the effects being +1 swimming (They're aerodynamic underwater), +2 cold resistance, +1 defence and a new effect float. The float effect would allow nichelings to stay above water when swimming. Finally the Seal hind legs would be unlocked by swimming 50 times and spending 50 days in a cold biome. The effects would be +2 swimming and +1 speed (Be a another kind of different gene with the same effect.) Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer
  7. Nah don't worry about, actually if anything you've helped out with this idea a ton, so cheers mate.
  8. Well I planed to but the problem was that the gills aren't on the manta rays head, but on the body.
  9. Yeah and the as for the cephalic head I didn't wanted it to seem to much.
  10. The maximum speed a nicheling can swim is 8, but what if we make it higher. The Manta ray swims at 9 mph and at times have a burst of speed making them travel around 22 mph, making them pretty good swimmers. First the cephalic snout would be unlocked by swimming and fishing 50 times, with the effects being +2 fishing and +2 smelling (they have acute smelling). It would likely look like gills except scratch the gills and add two flipper like features at the front of the snout. Next the manta Body would be unlocked by swimming 100 times and would give +2 swimming, +1 underwater breathing, +1 scentless and disables paws. Finally the manta barbs would be unlocked by inviting this gene into your tribe and would provide +1 poisonous and +1 poisonous resistance. Finally a new pattern where the top part of the body (backside) would be darker shade while the underbelly would be a lighter shade. The colours may vary. Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer.
  11. I know it wasn't meant to be taken serious in any matter. It was just for fun rather than my other ideas.
  12. The night fury is the unholy offspring of lightning and death itself, mixed with a big adorable softy. Yes Toothless captured the hearts of many and is one of the reasons why HTTYD is a popular franchise, from his cat like personality to the way he gets Hiccup if there genes based of him I would lose my mind. First would be the Night Fury Snout which would be obtained by inviting the genes into the tribe (this actually for all of them). The effects would be +2 smelling and +4 hearing (Night Furies have echolocation, don't know why it ain't with bats head) and maybe +1 fishing (We all saw Toothless try to collect is in the second movie and he did great). Next would be the Night Fury eyes which wouldn't have nothing special except look like Toothless' eyes, slitted when attacking and regular when doing something else. The Night Furies body would be slightly op with it having +4 flight (if higher someone would think it was too much), +2 stealth, +2 speed, +1 defence (have you seen what he's been hit with) and +1 strength. The Night Fury Paws would provide +2 speed, +1 strength and finally the Night Fury tail would provide +2 flight and +1 strength (Toothless has used his tail as a primary weapon). Remember this isn't meant to be taken seriously (unless it does become popular). Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer.
  13. Now yes there are times where you'll end up on a savannah biome where you can't swim so this idea could be considered rubbish, but what about the times where you do (cough* cough* Oasis)? The idea of the extremely, super, can't even describe it rare Devils Hole pupfish can make some advantages. The Devils Hole pupfish body would be unlocked by swimming 50 times and spending 50 days in a savannah biome. The effects would be +1 swimming, +1 scentless, + 1 underwater breathing and +2 heat resistance. The reason for this is because they handle heats of around 34* which may not seem like much but the average fish can only handle 25* to 27*C which is a big difference by fish standard. That's it. Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer.
  14. I disagree I think derp snout shouldn't be something you don't want, I like how it shows diversity. Plus they can look both funny and cute.
  15. Like the idea, makes the world more diverse.
  16. One thing most fans want is more life forms, including dangerous predators. So what if there was a way to deal with all of them like how the prairie dog can. First the prairie eyes would likely be auto-unlocked or by inviting the trait into the tribe, with the effects would be +3 sight. Next would be the prairie paws which would be unlocked by traveling into 30 tiles and digging 30 times. The effects would be +1 speed and +1 digging due to their speed and there burrowing abilities. And finally the prairie hind legs would likely be unlocked the same way and have the same effects with +1 swimming. Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer.
  17. Lets face it, the water biome kind of sucks because of two reasons. First the lack of diversity and of course leeches, but what if there was ways to counter this. First would be the leech fangs which would be unlocked by attacking 100 times and here's why. The effects would be +1 strength, +2 smelling and +1 bleeding, bleeding would work the same way as the leech effects us. And that is it, yeah the leech really does anything else. Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer.
  18. The humming bird is cute, fast and seems peaceful. But studies have shown that males have evolved barbed and hooked beaks for fighting, so what if we made these genes (ps also based of an image I saw online while thinking of this)? First would be the Hummers Beak which would be obtained by not only having a nicheling with the bird beak in the tribe (can only appear once for it to count) but also collecting 50 times. The effects would be for males +2 strength and +2 smelling, whilst the females would have +2 collecting and +2 smelling. Next would be the Humming body which would be a feathered body which would be unlocked by flying 30 times and spendings 50 days in a jungle biome. The effects would be +2 flying, +1 stealth and +2 speed. Finally would be small wings which would be unlocked by flying 50 times and traveling 50 times. The effects would be +2 flying and +1 speed (patterns have already been covered). Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer. https://steamcommunity.com/id/betwixted
  19. The other snake sister from the archipelago that I think there should be some new genes. First would be the the Viper Fangs which would be unlocked by collecting from 30 toxic berries and spending 50 days in a savannah biome. The effects would be +1 heat resistance, +2 venomous, +2 smelling, +2 hearing and disabling ears. The ears would be disabled because vipers don't really have ears but can sense things extremely well (plus I didn't want it to be op πŸ˜…). Next the Viper Scales would be unlocked be spending 50 days in a savannah biome as well as a jungle biome. The reason for this is because the effects are op. With it the effects would be +2 climbing (colugo idea to understand), +1 heat resistance, +2 speed, +2 stealth and +1 venom resistance. Next new patterns like diamond shapes or multi-colour. Diamond shape patterns would give +2 camouflage in jungle and grass. As for multi-colour the different colours may vary with a maximum of 3 different colours and all giving +1 camouflage. This to not only make some nichelings have really weird patterns but also not to make it not as op. Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer.
  20. One thing the tazzy is well known for it's serious attitude problem, but this could work to an advantage. First the Tazzy snout would be unlocked by attacking 30 times and using strong voice 30 times. The effects would be +1 strength, +2 strong voice and +2 smelling. It isn't really op because things like bearyena snouts and saber tooth fangs having distasteful appearance but the tazzy doesn't really have that facial feature to make a predator think twice, hence the strong voice. Next would be a Tazzy pattern would provide +1 camouflage in both grass and jungle biomes. Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer.
  21. Ah, that's what I forgot. I was reading through this and I didn't know what it was πŸ˜….
  22. Like most fans one of my priorities for a new update is a better aquatic world, so why not add not only new predators but new ways to deal with them. The Razor Fangs would be unlocked by attacking 30 times and swimming 50 times. The effects would +1 underwater breathing, +1 strength and +1 smelling or like gills be bleeding. The effect bleeding would work exactly like golden-leeches. Next would be the piranha fins would be amazing with a new effect, it would be unlocked by staying in a jungle 30 days and swimming 50 times. With the effects being +1 swimming. With the piranha having the ability to regenerate fins I wonder if that's a effect. Write down below if I should and I will edit this post. Hope this was interesting, sincerely Biogamer.
