  1. The locusts is well known as eating crops and was one of the ten plagues God used against the Egyptians when they didn't listen to Moses. And for good reason with their unique abilities. The chirping body would be unlocked by calling 40 times and collecting 50 times. The effects would be +1 attractiveness (for both genders), +1 heat resistance, +1 cold resistance and maybe +2 flight. The reason for the resistances is because locust have the rare ability to change their temperature slightly to adapt to environments. The Locus hind legs would be unlocked by spending 50 days in grasslands and exploring 50 time. The effects would be +2 speed, +1 swimming and either +1 attractiveness (for both genders) or +1 strength. The attractiveness because the sound we hear is used for attracting a mate. As for strength they do have a powerful kick and as for attractiveness with some species both the males and females produce sound to communicate/attract a mate. But mandibles are wanted a lot so there's no reason to describe them. Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer.
  2. Really like the improvement after all I can't animate for my lifeπŸ˜…
  3. The Rabbil, small, weak, most say cute but the truth is that it's a monster. They steal our berries, making us having to change from peaceful gatherers to hunters (unless they don't have offensive stats πŸ˜…). But, but what if there was a way to counter this problem. Not by scaring them but attracting them to us and then deal with them. The first part, luring. The aroma body would be unlocked by collecting 1000 berries (it may be much but it would be work it). The effects would be +1 distasteful appearance (predators don't really eat plants) and the new effect +2 attractiveness to prey (includes bug swarms). The design would have the nicheling have a medium body with small berry bushes on it's back (sign of symbiosis). But the paws oppose the body, fly trap paws (get it, instead of jaws it's paw πŸ˜‚). Though in all seriousness the fly trap paw would be unlocked by being in grass lands for 50 days, attacking 30 time and collecting from insect swarms 30 times, but for a good reason. The effects would be+1 insect collecting, +1 attractiveness to prey and +1 strength (they hurt a bit). The design is similar to the digging paw but with a more fly trap kind of feel to it. Sorry if you feel like the fly trap jaw is op, couldn't really remove anything. Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer
  4. The three toed sloth is known to be slow, lazy and overall stinks a bit, like a college student that has done all of their assessments the night before they're all due. However the sloth does give some new ideas. The mossy body is based of how sloths have been known to be so slow they actually grow algae on their body. The gene could be obtained by moving the minimal amount (1 space) 30 times and spending 50 days in a jungle biome. The effects would be +2 stealth, +1 scentless and -1 cold resistance. The effects do make sense and though yes -1 speed could be added that could make a nicheling unable to move if they only have webbed or bearyena hind legs. The mossy paws would provide additional climbing effects (it really should be added). It would be obtained by climbing and having mossy body 30 times. The effects would be +3 climbing and +1 stealth. The reason is that the sloth's have specialised limbs designed for living in the trees. As for the face, really don't know. Could be funny, write what you think it could be. Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer.
  5. The platypus beak may have been around since the 0.2.1 update, yet no new genes are added. I mean why? The platypus is an amazing animals and here are some ideas to prove this. First is the platypus paw which would be unlocked by swimming 50 and underwater digging 70 times. The effects would be +1 swimming and +1 underwater digging. The platypus hind legs would have a variety of effects, with it being +1 venomous, +1 swimming and +1 speed and here's why. The platypus, even though it is cute is actually dangerous. The males have a venomous spurs on their hind legs, which they use a self defence as well as attracting mates. The way it would be obtained would be by swimming 30 and spending 30 days in swamp/archipelago. Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer p.s. maybe eggs.
  6. YEEESSSS!!! this is perfect.
  7. I know but I thought that the exoskeleton body may've been a little too much if flying effects were to be added.
  8. The rhino beetle is known as a extremely strong insect and if it reached the size of a dog it would easily carry any average joe and throw them as if they were paper balls. So why not make some genes based of this. The beetle horn would be obtained by either traveling on the popular biome idea of a forest, or by attacking 50 times and spending 30 days in a jungle. Making it like antlers and savanna horns, the effects would be +1 strength. The new body exoskeleton would be obtained by receiving 30 attacks and spending 50 days in a jungle biome. The effects would be +2 defence, +1 strength and +1 scentless. The reason for this is because rhino beetles are extremely strong as well as being well protected. As for scentless, well you can't really smell most bugs. Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer.
  9. Yeah know that I think about it, the fangs should just be saber tooth fangs but on a smaller scale.
  10. The eel is well remembered from our childhood as that animal somebody uses but their plan back fires and they get electrocuted. But what if a nicheling could do that instead. By adding a new effect, stun which would work exactly like how a coconut drops on your nicheling. Genes like Hammer Tail could also get this effect. How it would work is when a nicheling attacks an entity (from apes to other nichelings) there is a chance they would get stunned. The higher the stun stat the higher the chance. If not the entity would be stunned for said amount of turns (e.g. 3 stun= 3 actions). The eel body would be obtained by spending 50 days in a swamp and swimming 50 times. The effects would be +2 distasteful appearance, +2 stun and +1 swimming. This of course is reference to an eels body. It would look a little thinner than regular body plans and would also have a small fin running down the back. The electric tail would be obtained by spending 50 days in a swamp and only swimming 30 times, the effects would be +1 stun and +2 swimming. The tail would be longer than most tail and look similar to a tadpoles tail. The reason on the stats are similar to the eel body. Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer.
  11. The clouded leopard is well known for not only being adorable but also having the closes things to the saber teeth of the famous Smilodon. The jungle fangs (couldn't think of anything else πŸ˜…) would be obtained by either inviting a nicheling with this gene into your tribe or by attacking 30 times and spending 50 days in a jungle biome. The effects would be +1 strength and +2 smelling, the design would look like poison fangs but larger fangs. The velvet claw would be based of the amazing climbing skills of these cats. With it being unlocked by either inviting a nicheling with this gene into your tribe or climbing (based of my colugo idea) 30 times and spending 50 days in a jungle biome. The effects would be +2 climbing, +1 strength and +1 stealth. This would make the paw seem too much but of course this is based of real animals and the clouded leopard is one of the best hunters in jungles (no apex but you know). Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer
  12. I like the idea, I know a bit about dinosaurs so I could help you out.
  13. They did change the stats and the stats are +2 Smelling, +1 Collecting and +2 Digging.
  14. The reason why the saltwater is to add some more difference between salt and fresh water. I mean seals aren't adapted to swimming in rivers. As for the blubbers defence that's for the blubber acts like a pretty meh shield when conflict occurs.
  15. The seal is well known for being an underwater hunter, so the genes based off these animals would be great. First would be a fur gene, baby seal fur. It would unlock in a cold biome and would give a bonus 2 cold resistance and -1 heat resistance, however once the nicheling had reached adulthood the effects would were off like how it does with real seals. Next the paw seal flippers, which would be obtained by by swimming 70 times and would give +1 swimming in rivers and lakes but +2 in oceans. Next would be the blubber body, which would be obtained by spending 30 days in a cold biome. The effect would be +3 cold resistance and +1 defence (for obvious reasons). Next would be seal hind legs, which would be obtained by swimming 70 times and would provide +1 speed, +2 swimming in rivers and lakes but doubled in oceans. Of course the flippers effects are like this because seals aren't really good swimmers in rivers and so forth. Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer
  16. I know that multiplayer can't be added but that does actually seem like a great idea. I mean challenges like the kingdom challenge can be easier. Plus the whole idea of the whole friend or foe idea is brilliant. But sadly it can't happen 😫.
  17. yeah I kind of forgot about distasteful appearance πŸ˜‚.
  18. Though the angler fish can be considered pug ugly for the common eye (people who just don't really know about animals) it's could lead to a new way to hunt underwater. The angler fish is famous for the ability to use bioluminescence to attract prey to it, doing nothing but staying still. So the lure (don't have a name for it) would be a horn gene that would be obtained by fishing 50 times. The effects would be +1 attractiveness to fish, however would be doubled if the nicheling would be underwater. This would of course include Clownkoi and Razoranha. Next would be the angler jaws (like the barracuda gene idea). It would be obtained by fishing 70 times. The effects would be +1 underwater breathing, +1 fishing and +1 strength. The reason for no smelling is because gills don't have smelling so this won't either and it also makes the gene not broken. The snout gene is pretty obvious why. Hope this was interesting, Sincerely Biogamer
  19. though that may make it more balance the cassowary is extremely fast so I couldn't πŸ˜…
