you exit the den and see.. oh.. that’s why there was sobbing. in the middle of camp is the familiar black, red, and white pelt of your mentor, Poppyfang. accept her pelt was covered in deep wounds and she wasn’t moving. an apprentice races to your side, her blue eyes wide with fear. ‘’’what happened to Popyfang?’’ Bluepaw asks.

she swam after it stubbornly.

Day 2 Vigil You wake up to a harsh sobbing sound and what sounds like hundreds of cats whispering in the camp.

Poppyfang was standing a few fox lengths away talking to some of the warriors. they looked at you and then nodded to the apprentices den as if telling you to rest.

she stalked up to it and pounced.

‘’cmon i’ll walk you over.’’ they said, nudging you to your paws. you could see Squidpaw and Daypaw walking ahead of you with the apprentices fro, your Valleyclan. you were gently guided by Larkpaw across the tree bridge. ‘’alright! you didn’t fall! good job.’’ he purred amusedly. ‘’Cmon Larkpaw.’’ mewed a cat from the crowd. ‘’That’s my mentor.’’ he groaned. ‘’i should go before she gets mad, see you later Silverpaw!’’ they said, waving at you before dashing off. ~~~ you arrive at camp.
