  1. Sorry if someone has suggested this already, but I just HAD to

SO, I've been thinking about this for years, and I think I should finally mention it. I feel that this would make Niche feel more dangerous and alive.

Natural disasters. You know, things like earthquakes, tornadoes etc. This is just my take on it, and if it was implemented, I wouldn't care if it was changed to much. SO:

    Floods

This would be kinda like fire, every day the water rises a bit. It's especially deadly when it rains. The only way to escape it would be to:

    1. Have underwater breathing

    2. Be able to fly

    3. Hope it lowers before it gets to the creatures

It can last for 3-6 days, and when it finally lowers, there are multiple puddles on the ground. It's most common on grassland islands or jungle islands. I don't have many ideas for this, so if you have any, please tell me.

    Whirlpools

This kinda ties in with floods, you know, the whole water thing. These only occur in water 2 or more tiles deep. When a nicheling gets caught in it, the only way for it to get out is:

    1. For it to have more than 3 or 4 swimming

    2. For a nicheling with more than 3 or 4 swimming to pull it out

it ceases after 2-4 days, and is also more deadly when it rains.

    Tornadoes

These move every time a nicheling does an action. Like, they pick berries, it moves. They breed, it moves. Etc. If it comes to a tile next to a nicheling, it sucks it up (like the carnivorous plants) and it takes damage every turn. The only way for a creature to escape is:

    1. Wait for it to go away

    2. Have a nicheling pull it out (%50 chance of getting sucked in itself)

    they last for 3-6 days

I have more ideas, but my hand hurts so I'll edit this later
