"There's a pulse!"
Manathan's eyes shook open at the sound of another voice. He could feel something on his chest, which felt oddly similar to his hand. Looking up, an increasingly bright light invaded his eyeballs as he screeched in fear. The hand-like item resting on his chest quickly stopped being felt, moving away, the mentioned light doing the same.
"Does he remember talking?" A masculine voice croaked, reminding Man he had not seen any humans in the past week he had been in... wherever this was... "Talk I can!" Man jolted upright into a sitting position, the humans (he hoped) backing away when he made the sound. With help from the hellish light, their appearances were much clearer now. Before he could peer at them, though, "Oh.. What's your name?" they decided to ask questions.
"I'm Manathan, but you can just call me Man!" The half-naked person answered, the flask on his belt shaking as he stood up. Holding out a hand, he waited for the others to introduce themselves as well.
"Umm... My name is... Anna, I think..." A brown-eyed brunette woman spoke with uncertainty, as a much larger and broad-shouldered figure stepped in to shake Man's hand. "Katherine. I'm good at digging." Whispered a human wearing a penguin hoodie and crocs, shaking Man's hand with her own large and sharp ones. "Peculiar name, Manathan. Mine is Dimitri." The man wearing a lumberjack shirt and holding a lantern sighed, his tone being mixed in with a bit of interest.
