Light pink for kits (default) Yellow for apprentices (default) light blue for medicine cat apprentices (default) Orange for warriors and deputies (default) Green for DF Rogues (default) Dark blue for Medicine cats (custom) Red for deputies and Leaders (custom) Dark pink for queens (custom) And last not least, Gray for elders (custom) Note: Deputies have 2 orange gems and one red gem in the middle, to signify the possibility of becoming leader. Layout Leader’s den - The leader likes to hang out near the tree trump so that he/she can make clan announcements. The deputy also hangs around near the tree trunk so he can organise and announce patrols. Medicine cat den - The Medicine cat (and apprentice) likes to live near a healing fruit. Sick and wounded cats also go near the healing fruit when possible. Nursery - Queens like to set their bedding around a permanent nest. That’ll become become the nursery, future generations will be born there. Warrior and apprentices’ den - When not being mentored or on patrols, apprentices and warriors like to roam around camp until their names get called by the deputy. Elder’s den - Elders like to hang about, a bit away from the warriors. Elders also visits the nursery to tell stories to the kits. Note: Banished DF rogue cats have their own camp, far away from your Clan camp. (DF stands for Dark Forest) Gameplay Simple turn breakdown Add the daily fresh kill Roll for any StarClan Prophecies (20%) Roll for any Greencoughs (20%) Roll for any Dark Forest Events (10%) Roll for any Normal Events (10%) Play out your warrior cats! (Warrior Ceremonies, hunting, border patrols and mentor teaching apprentices.) Play the rogue cats as they plot against your Clan. Breed them if you like. Engage in any battles using the random number generator and console commands. Once all of the cats’ action points are used up (Except for queens, deputies and leaders), end the day! Start a new day! (Repeat this breakthrough) The Warrior Code -All fresh kills must be eaten by elders, queens and kits before apprentices and warriors -Do not neglect a kit’s life -No breeding with the DF Rogue Males -No breeding with Bears -A cat must have mentored at least one apprentice before he/she becomes deputy Miscellaneous Peaceful Period For the first two generations in the Ultimate Warrior Cats Challenge, there are no StarClan Prophecies, Dark Forest Events, normal events or omens. This is just so that the player can start out, without cats dying. The Warrior Cats Challenge truly begins when the first kit of generation 3 is born. Recording Record your whole clan like the ones in Erin Hunter’s books, including the cats who are in StarClan. Wanderers Wanderers (when invited to the clan) must be changed (through console commands) to have purr snouts or Sabre tooth snouts and paws that touch the ground (e.g Bearhyena claw) Crabs When you prey on crabs, there is a 60% chance that the crab, will pinch you! A crab will deal 1 - 3 damage. Roll the random number generator Death When a clan cat passes away and joins StarClan, The leader will announce his/her death. All cats in camp (Not on patrols) will gather near the tree stump, for the ritual, and say goodbye to the deceased cat for 1 moon. Optional Write profiles for your cats Create art of your cats and put it up on a social media site, like steam, niche forums or deviantart Create a family tree on family echo. These are the rules but you don’t have to follow them! Food Rules This is the formula on how many fresh kill you are allowed to add each day to your clan via console commands. This is separate to the prey you catch in game N = Number of cats in the clan. L = Luck with catching prey. This comes with decimals. Roll 2-12 for luck with prey. (3 worst, to 10 best) Eg if you get 3 then it is 0.3 added to the calculations W = Weather, if there is a drought, then you get 0.5, if it is normal, then it is 1, if it is raining, then it is 1.5 F = Food F = N x L x W For example there are 23 cats in the clan. The luck is 7/10 and it is normal in the clan. This equals 23 x 0.7 x 1 = 16.1. You add 16 food to your game. Ranks Kits -When a kit is born is he/she will be known by the suffix “kit”, the name given by the Queen. (e.g Falconkit, Snowkit) A kit will remain a kit through the baby and child stages, which is 6 moons long. A kit must remain in the nursery with the queens. -Kits can also listen to stories from elders to pass their free time. Kits will die instantly when attacked by a bear, hawk or fox. Warriors must not ignore danger of a kit’s life and protect them against predators. Apprentices -When a kit is 6 moons old, he or she will become an apprentice and will receive the suffix “paw” replacing “kit” (e.g Falconpaw, Snowpaw) An apprentice must be assigned to a mentor, which will teach the apprentices how to hunt or fight. Fighting training - Apprentices and mentors will fight each other “lightly” with only 1 or 2 damage. This battle can be done by the console commands, “Take Damage” If a cat’s bleeding, he/ she must see the medicine cat immediately . Hunting training - Mentors must encourage their apprentices to use their noses to track down prey. The apprentice must try to hunt without the mentor’s help, help is only necessary when the apprentice is out of action points. Border Patrols - Warriors are allowed to take apprentices out on border patrols. He or she must defend for others’ lives. Medicine cat apprentices -If a clan kit is born weak, she/he can choose to become a medicine cat apprentice instead when there is an available space. Typical traits of medicine cats include blindness and inability to fight. -A medicine cat apprentice learns about the healing properties of plants, the powers of StarClan, how to purr, lick wounds and pull leeches off different clan cats. -A medicine cat apprentice will help out other sick and injured cats to the best of their abilities. -When a medicine cat apprentice is 20 moons old, she receives the full medicine cat name from the medicine cat. (E.g Snowcreek, Falconwing) however she/he doesn’t get the full status of medicine cat until the previous one steps down or dies. Warriors Once your apprentice is 20 moons old, let your leader call a warrior ceremony and the apprentice will receive his/her warrior name, getting rid of the “paw” at the end of the name. (e.g Falconwing, Snowcreek) -Warriors must go on regular border patrols, commanded by the deputy inside in tall grass to be on the lookout for bears and rogues. They may have to fight for their lives to protect others, even if they’re about to join StarClan. -Warriors can take on apprentices, they teach them how to hunt and fight. They can also take them on border patrols. Deputy -If a warrior had mentored at least 1 apprentice, then he/she can become deputy. If the previous deputy became leader, died or had stepped down, the leader will call a deputy ceremony on top of the stump, so that he/she (you) chooses the right deputy for the clan. The new deputy then recieve one red gem in the middle of his orange gems. (See gem colours) The deputy’s name will remain the same. -The goal of the deputy is to arrange patrols for the warriors. He/she and the leader will switch places on the stump, so he/she will tell which warriors/apprentices will go on a patrol. He/she can also call patrols back when he/she wants to. Leader -When the previous leader die, then the deputy will become the leader. StarClan will come to him/her in a dream, and receive nine lives. This means that any death rolls, StarClan will take one life away from her/him. This will continue until all his/her lives are up. When the leader reaches 5 moons until the end of his/her lifespan, StarClan (you) will take one life away from him/her and go command increase age -5. Keep doing this until all his/her lives are up. Note: If you accidentally let a bearhyena, or killer bearhyena kill the leader (when you are unable to reverse his death, then the bearhyena ripped all lives away from the leader. (In the Erin Hunter canon, Tigerstar got killed by Scrooge, ripping all the lives away from him) The leaders life could also all be ripped off to events. (A very small chance though.) Then StarClan will gift the new leader his/her leader name. (E.g Falconstar, Snowstar) -The job of a leader is to protect his/her clan and to arrange apprentice, warrior and apprentice ceremonies. He/she (you) will give his apprentices new warrior names in front of everyone and StarClan. Whenever there is danger he’ll also send out warriors to battle it. -Leaders cannot become elders, they must serve until they die. Queens -As soon as a she cat had bred with a tom, she becomes a queen, note: Deputies and leaders have to give up their roles for a short time. Queens cannot leave the nursery so that the kits are protected from Bears, hawks and foxes. -Queens (you) can name their own kits whatever name they like, although the names must have “kit” as a suffix. The leader or medicine names the other part of the kit”s name when they become warriors or an adult (medicine cat) -Queens can leave the nursery and become warriors again when all of her kits had become apprentices, when she stops having kits. Medicine cat -When a previous medicine cat steps down or dies, the medicine cat apprentice gets the full status as a medicine cat. This means that she/he doesn’t get ordered to do things and can take on an apprentice. The colour on the gem turns from light blue to dark blue to show that he/she gets that rank. -It is against the warrior code to make your medicine cat breed, however you can break them for story purposes. -Your Medicine cats will recieve prophecies from StarClan (See Prophecies from StarClan) -The Medicine cat should help prevent sick and injured cats from joining StarClan. This includes guiding cats to healing fruits, licking wounds, purring around cats and picking off leeches. The medicine cat should always be on task. -The Medicine cat can teach his/her apprentice how to intercept prophecies from StarClan and help sick and injured cats. Elder -When a Warrior, Queen or Medicine cat becomes 80 moons old, she/he will become an elder. Elders have 3 gray gems and have to stay in the elder’s area for the rest of their lives. (They are also allowed in the nursery to tell kits stories) They get freedom and do whatever they please, but the retired medicine cat may have to go on task when a cat is near death and the other medicine cats are busy. -Elders are highly respected because they managed to live so long. (Avoided dying of sickness or by Bearhyena.) Elders like to tell kits stories about fighting bearhyenas and about - past lives. DF Rogues -DF Rogues are cats who have been banished from your Clan and are against the Warrior Code. They are supporters of the cats of the Dark Forest, and would do anything for them. -DF Rogues cats will attempt to murder a Clan cat. -DF cats will breed, to raise an army of cats, loyal to the Dark Forest cats. Rogue kits are taught against the Warrior Code. -Rogue cats do not have the full warrior cats name. They only keep the prefix of the name. Eg. Raven or Ice. Clan cats who become DF rogues, drop their suffix end of their name. Eg Moleheart becomes Mole. -Once the number of Df rogue cats exceed 10, there is a 5% chance of a Dark Forest war per moon. When a Dark Forest war is defeated, the remaining DF rogues will retreat back to their camp. There won’t be another war until their population reaches 10 cats again. StarClan Cats -After a cat who was loyal to the Warrior Code (mostly), dies, she/he becomes a StarClan cat. -StarClan cats can fly and can look over your Clan from above, like how you are viewing your niche world. -You as a player, can imagine that you are the founder StarClan, watching over your niche world, although this idea is optional. You could design yourself as a warrior cat if you want. -StarClan cats never appear ingame, and can only come when they send their prophecies to living cats (see StarClan prophecies) Dark Forest Cats -When DF rogues die, they go to the Dark forest, and becomes a Dark Forest cat. -Dark Forest cats can enter the living world and attack living cats, although they are not seen in game. They deal 4 - 6 damage each blow (see battles below) They fight alongside the DF Rogues. Horney Rogues (Aka Rogue Males) -They may or may not attack you if they come close to you (50%) -They deal 1 - 3 damage each blow. -They will breed with any she-cats when they get the chance -Players find them very annoying! 2. Maybe, you could start releasing DLCs for the game? That would be a great idea! I’m willing to pay some money for this game, to keep it alive.
  3. Hi everyone, it’s Kittylover16063 here. Today I announce that a huge update is coming to my Niche Ultimate Warrior Cats Challenge, by the end of January 2020! It will be version 3 of my Warrior Cats Challenge. It will take time to figure out mechanics around the random number generator, game mechanics and the in game console commands. Deep in a gloomy forest, with no stars twinkling above the leafless trees, a muscular tom was training a whole group of Clan cats, that he recruited by walking into their dreams. He forces a clan she-cat to murder the spirit of a Dark forest cat. The cats trained aggressively and they yowled as they fought. Guess, what this mysterious place is? The Dark Forest! That’s right, the Dark Forest, aka the Place of No Stars is coming to my Ultimate Warrior Cats Challenge! The Dark Forest Cats can walk into your clan cat’s dreams, and turn them evil! If you are very unlucky a whole army of rogues can invade your cats and your Clan may die in front of your eyes! Features coming to my Warrior Cats Challenge: - Peaceful beginnings. StarClan Prophecies, omens, greencough, events and the Dark Forest won’t happen until the third generation of Warrior Cats. Make sure you have a big clan by the time the drama begins. This feature stops the high chance that your Clan will die off in the start of the game. - The Dark Forest. Cats who have severely broken the warrior code, go there when they die. The Dark Forest Cats may start plotting on your Clan once the third generation starts. -Murder. Sometimes clan cats who are influenced by the Dark Forest will try to murder another clan cat, although the chance of succeeding is low. -DF Rogue cats. (This is not to confused with the In Game Rogue Males) When DF Clan cats gets banished from Clan (actually still keeping them in the Clan) they get the Omega rank, and become rogue cats. They will set a rogue cat camp, and will plot with the Dark Forest Cats to destroy your Clan. Be careful not to banish too many cats, or else they may form an army to start a war with your Clan. -Omens: Cats who are born with different genes can cause an omen. Rain and Sunny weather have a very small chance to lead to a flood and a drought. -Events: There going to be a new selection of events which is not related to StarClan prophecies. These events will happen more unexpectedly and dramatically as the nature world can be cruel sometimes. - There will be more scenarios (higher chance) where your Clan leader could lose a life. This could be from Starvation, Dark Forest, Greencough, Drowning and more. - Finally but not least, the challenge ending will be reduced from 1000 moons to 500 moons. You can still go on forever if you have time.
  4. The EagleClan Founders. Front row (Left to right) Leopardfur, Ashfoot Back row (left to right) Rosepetal, Gingerheart, Eaglestar The cats arrive to the island at the edge of the peninsula. The cats has to travel to the main land to set up camp. ”This is no place for camp!” mewed the deputy cat called Gingerheart “the land is too thin!” “We’ll travel upward” replied Eaglestar. Moon 2: The cats walked around a large boulder next to the sea. There were lots of leeches waiting to bite into the cats’ pelt. “Great StarClan!” Exclaimed Leopardfur. There is an army of leeches here” “Ow! I’ve been bitten by one!” Growled Ashfoot. “Here.let me take it off you” said Rosepetal sweetly. But then Gingerheart also had been bitten by a leech. Moon 3: The cats arrived finally to the mainland. They encountered a natural barrier of mounds, bushes and rocks. Inside the boundary was a nest. “This is the perfect place for a nursery!” Squealed Leopardfur with delight. “We haven’t found a stump yet” reminded Eaglestar “weed need to find one for clan meetings” Moon 4: A dodomingo jumped into the nest. ”Great there’s a dodomingo in the nest” sighed Rosepetal Moon 5: The cats continued searching for a stump. It was a normal day Moon 6: “A Bearhyena!” Screeched Gingerheart. Eaglestar and Gingerheart started fighting it. Gingerheart takes a hit but he was lightly scratched. Moon 7: The Bearhyena retreated much to Gingerheart’s suprise. The other cats continued searching for a stump. Moon 8: ”I’ve found a stump!” Leopardfur shouted. The other cats started going to Leopardfur’s location. “That’s great!” Said Eaglestar, we can use it at the start of our Clan. “But what about the natural barrier nursery?” Asked Gingerheart. “We can’t use it because it is too far away from the stump” said Eaglestar. “Sorry.” Moon 10: ”Ugh a rogue cat!” Cried Gingerheart as she tries to run away. The rogue gave a small swipe at Gingerheart and he went on her back briefly. Gingerheart shook him off and the rogue cat retreated. Meanwhile Leopardfur, Ashfoot and Rosepetal started clearing the land for the camp. The land started to take shape Moon 11: Gingerheart was feeling nausea and sore from the scratches so she decided to see the medicine cat.. “Oh StarClan, you’re covered in scratches what happened?” Gasped Rosepetal ”Bearhyena and a rogue cat.” Gingerheart sighed. “I’ve found some dock that’ll help your scratches.” Meowed Rosepetal. She started putting some of it on her belly. Rosepetal gasped. “Great StarClan are you really pregnant?” Gingerheart’s heart sank “What?!” She shrieked. “Your belly is bigger than normal! How did this happen?” Demanded Rosepetal. “The rogue cat maybe?” Meowed Gingerheart. ”You have no choice, you’ll have to become a queen and nurse the kit that’ll be born. You’ll have someone take care of your kit when you call out patrols.” Gingerheart growled she didn’t want to be a queen. Leopardfur and Ashfoot continued to clear land. Moon 12: “Killer Bearhyena!” Sootfoot as he started clearing the medicine den. It was an ambush, the killer Bearhyena attacked Leopardfur with it’s mighty claws. The Bearhyena left Leopardfur with mild injuries. Leopardfur and Sootfoot started attacking the Killer Bearhyena. Just then a regular Bearhyena appeared and attacked Sootfoot. He was lightly scratched. Eaglestar heard the cat’s cries and he started charging into battle. “Thank StarClan if we can win.” Gingerheart walked into the grass and made bedding herself to give birth. Moon 13: The killer Bearhyena attacked Leopardfur again with sereve injuries and the normal Bearhyena attacked Ashfoot with mild injuries. Eaglestar came in attacked the killer Bearhyena along with leopardfur. Sootfoot managed to kill the normal Bearhyena himself. Rosepetal covered Leopardfur’s wounds with Cobwebs, and Asked Leopardfur to swallow comfrey. Gingerheart had given birth to Daisykit, a yellow she cat with black eyes. Moon 14: Rosepetal gave Ashfoot a comfrey and covered his wounds with cobwebs. Eaglestar carried the Bearhyena meat into the newly formed prey pile. Moon 15: Another Killer Bearhyena appeared in the medicine den causing the cats to retreat. Ginger heart falls in love with Eaglestar causing a little romance. Moon 17: A loner named Fern had appeared (at apprentice age) Moon 18: “Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather around for a meeting” called Eaglestar. ”We are a new clan now named EagleClan from now on. Gingerheart has given birth to Daisykit and and Oakkit, of me and Gingerheart. Fern and Daisykit had reached the age of 6 moons. From this day on until they had reached the warrior names. Fern will be known as Fernpaw and and Daisykit you will be known as Daisypaw. Fernpaw’s mentor will be Leopardfur, please touch noses with each other. Fernpaw walked up to Leopardfur and touched noses with each other. “Daisypaw, your mentor will be Sootfoot.” Daisypaw walked up to Sootfoot and touched noses with each other. As Fernpaw strolled with Leopardfur, Leopardfur got a fright when a rogue cat appeared and she quickly ran away. Moon 19 “Killer Bearhyena!” Screeched Sootfoot, “Oh StarClan!” Screeched Daisypaw. Eaglestar came in to try and save the the day, The Killer Bearhyena striped Eaglestar in the chest and he fell onto the ground. He stopped breathing. “Noo, Eaglestar, he’s dead!” Cried Sootfoot, ”What’s going on!?” meowed Gingerheart with shock. “Eaglestar is dead!” Cried Sootfoot. “Nooo!” Cried Gingerheart. But then Eaglestar started breathing again as he gasped on his side. ”Eaglestar, you’re alive!” Said Sootfoot miraculously. “I’m here” breathed Eaglestar “StarClan had come to me. A leader has nine lives except for deaths in old age and occasions where I can’t be rescued. I have eight lives remaining. StarClan had resecurreted me” Eaglestar got up to his paws. “now let’s finish off this Killer Bearhyena, once and for all” Moon 20: The Bearhyena attacked Daisypaw but with only mild injures. It had started raining. Eaglestar land his final blow on the Killer Bearhyena and it had been defeated. Ashfoot started coughing and wheezing in the rain “Ashfoot has whitecough!” Shouted Rosepetal. She asked him to swallow some Catmint. When she was finished she had a nap. When she woke up she ran straight to Eaglestar. “I have a message from StarClan!” She shouted. “A running rock river will harm the Clan” Eaglestar’s eyes widened. “A mudslide perhaps? This is bad news for our Clan!” Moon 21: Leopardfur fell in love did a romance with Sootfoot. Moments later she started coughing. “Leopardfur have whitecough! I’ve ran out of catmints, StarClan please help me” Leopardfur created new bedding since a dodomingo was in the other one, and she curled up and went to sleep. Moon 22 ”Daisypaw” meowed Rosepetal. “Let me take care of that infectious wound.” She put some cobwebs on it. “Here swallow this dock.” “Eww it’s disgusting!” Complained Daisypaw. But then “Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather for a clan meeting!” yowled Eaglestar. The cats all came bellow the leader’s stump. “I, Eaglestar, leader of EagleClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. Daisypaw and Fernpaw ears perked up. “He have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn” Daisypaw’s heart sank, she won’t be a warrior yet. “Fernpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect and defend your Clan even at the cost of your life?” ”I do!” Said Fernpaw with pride. ”Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Fernpaw from this moment on, you’ll be known as Fernclaw. StarClan honours your loyalty to your clan and we welcome you as a full warrior of EagleClan” ”Fernclaw, Fernclaw, Fernclaw” the warriors shouted. “Why am I not a warrior yet!?” Complained Daisypaw. “You’re not old enough yet” said Leopardfur who was pregnant. “You need to be 20 moons old to be a warrior. Keep training hard Daisypaw, you’ll get there one day.” Moon 23: ”Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather for a Clan meeting!” Yowled Eaglestar. “As you know, Leopardfur had recently given birth to Yellowkit, the son of Ashfoot. Oakkit had recently reached the age of 6 moons, from this day on, until he had recieved his warrior names, Oakkit will be known as Oakpaw. Oakpaw, your mentor will be Fernclaw, please touch noses with each other” Oakpaw touched noses with Fernclaw. Moon 24: A normal day in EagleClan. Daisypaw clears out the medicine cat den along with her mentor. Fernclaw and Oakpaw does fighting training. Gingerheart did a romance with Eaglestar, and head into the nursery den. Moon 25: Another normal day in EagleClan, until... ”Mudslide!” Yelped Daisypaw, It headed towards Ashfoot, and it smashed right into Ashfoot while he was clearing the medicine den. He screamed in agony, and then his heart stopped ”Ashfoot is, Ashfoot is dead!” Cried Daisypaw. ”No!” Cried Rosepetal, “It can’t be?!”
  5. Also two of my other cats will have amber eyes, cause it’s a rare gene in Niche and a very common gene in real life cats,
  6. I’m starting a new warrior cats clan in Niche based of my Ultimate Warriors Cat Clan Challenge. Quite disappointed that someone I follow discontinued their Warrior’s play through. However I am starting my own Clan to share with you guys, including lots of storytelling! The Clan’s name will be EagleClan, and it’s leader and founder will be called Eaglestar. I will be making Eaglestar a brown tom with the mask pattern and bright yellow eyes. I randomising the other 4 starters (Including medicine cat) with their genes except their paws and snouts. I hope this play through inspires you to start your own Clan. I will keep you updated at least once per week. Check out my Warrior Cats challenge in the challenges forums. It has over 500 views.
  7. That’s okay, I hope you enjoyed playing!
  8. I have two suggestions what you can do to make your Clan survive. 1. Have Mousepedal and Thornclaw breed again, until there is a compatible mate for Mudpaw 2. Have Cliffpaw and Mudpaw breed. I know that Cliffpaw is a medicine apprentice and it is against the warrior code to breed them. But you could create an interesting story if you break the warrior code in your challenge.
  9. Cliffpaw will be a great medicine cat one day! May I suggest the medicine cat name Cliffpool? It’s a cute name. 😍
  10. That’s fine you can change the rules however you want. ☺️
