  1. I know you can do certain things like that with key commands, and I've seen youtubers do it (ex: Jessimew) but I don't know what to press for other things like damage ratios. However I did have fun, creating a quest for Adam where he had to get all immunity genes before reaching Home Island. And doing this outside Adam's quest made easier to maximize environmental damage due to biomes like the archepelago not being necessary to get all the immunity genes, or reach Home Island (Drowning damage could quickly kill Adam and its necessary to swim to reach the other islands, for example). So some rules I came up with were: Adam's teen and adult years are maxed to a total of either 170-200. This is because certain biomes require you to stay 30+ days and this will burn through a lot of Adam's lifespan. And that's not even getting into warmer biomes that will slow him down a turn. On the flipside this makes Adam infertile for a good portion of the challenge as well as all child nichelings. This means you have to be VERY careful about breeding because this also means if you run out of food or creatures with bad genes it'll be harder to banish them from your tribe to save resources. All damage ratios are up to 100. You must obtain all immunity genes before reaching Home Island. It doesn't matter how you reach Home Island, but you have to get every immunity gene first before going. If you go to Home Island before completing this, you lose the challenge. Adam must be alive to complete the challenge. If Adam dies before you get all genes and reach home island, then you lose, regardless of whether or not any children of his carry the home island immunity. Only Adam is allowed to move Islands (Optional Hard Mode difficulty) You are allowed 1 other Nicheling with the Mouse Ears to obtain the gene. However, they must have double immunity with maximum lifespan, and can only live for one turn.
  2. I wanted to do a Speedrun game that mixes An Honeestly Very Hard Challenge with Adam's Quest. Where, in this playthrough Adam has 100 days to live, and the game is lost if he dies before he reaches his home island (and/or obtains all genes). Damage multipliers would be slightly altered for environmental damage though due to the fact its very easy to take drowning damage in certain biomes. The problem is, when I tried this out in Sandbox mode, I couldn't utilize the challenge due to the fact that the islands were completely randomized. You essentially have to hope you'll find a Whale Island port and reach home island because trying any other way never seems to work. Though I suppose if the objective is to get ALL genes and travel to Adam's island, it wont matter if you reach whale island because going to Adam's island prior to finishing the other objective that would essentially be wasting your turns.
  3. Question: Can female wanderers you invite in the tribe mate with pure-bred bearyenas? Also, you may want to remove immunity G and H, just so that there's a bit more genetic diversity for the challenge. I'd also recommend the lean body if you want better movement but with all the bearyena traits. As well as hammer tail for food collecting if nimble fingers or the running leg aren't allowed.
  4. Double post but a slight update. An easier way to win this challenge is to actually go to the First Snow biome (unless your really looking for a challenge by going to the Summer Mountains). This way, the temperature will at least be warm long enough for your Nicheling not to freeze to death. I found using this biome, despite it being larger, had a higher survival rate than the Summer Mountains for that reason. The basis of this strategy is still the same and may still take some trial and error. You'll still need to unlock a creature that can collect food first, and ideally that creature will be the opposite gender so it can mate with your original nicheling. The baby will help provide additional warmth for its mother once the temperatures start getting colder.
  5. I'm assuming everything labled "?" is fair game to be altered. If OP wants to make this a challenge, then Home Immunity needs to be banned. Additionally, there's another loophole you can use to win. It takes some trial and error, but you don't necessarily need Bearyenas to mate. Go to the Summer Mountains. and, as a baby travel to the mountain blocks. Mountain Block nichelings don't count as Wild Nichelings so you can still release them within this challenge. You have a heat buff so you won't freeze and die so long as your an infant. If your lucky, you'll be able to reach an ice block by the time you reach your second gem. Also, you're going to need a hot spring close by for your nicheling so they don't freeze after 2 turns. If your lucky again, and the nicheling you crack out is male wait until they're old enough and breed immediately. The baby will help provide your nicheling with extra warmth. Ideally, you'll get a nicheling that can crack nuts or can eat the toxic berries. Also, some additional critique to this challenge, adding hemophilia's pretty worthless. If your nichelings die in one hit anyway, there's no real point. And I wouldn't recommend using the Derp Snout because the distasteful appearance lessens the likelihood of a bearyena attack your nicheling. I'd go for the normal snout instead.
  6. ... You realize an easy way to win this challenge would be to just stick the home island gene in the second immunity slot and go to Adam's Island right...? Since you didn't list that as a forbidden gene and Home Island isn't banned. XD But Nonetheless, I'll attempt a more challenging route.
